Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!-Chapter 208: Visiting Irene
In the evening, five minutes before the appointed time, two young girls appeared in front of the gates of house 37 in the Seven Flowers area.
One of them was of medium height, with short black hair and brown eyes. The second one, who was shorter, stood out with her long sea-green hair. Both were dressed for the weather, stylish and comfortable.
Irene lived in this house with her mother and her newborn son, who recently turned just one month old. She also placed several trusted people acting as security guards here. They were all members of her own Guild, whom Irene not only trusted completely, but also personally chose.
One of the guards, having received information about the arrival of the two guests, met them at the gate. Following the established procedure, she checked the girls' identities, demanded identification, and made sure they hadn't brought anything illegal with them. After making sure they were safe, the guard let them inside.
Arabel felt a little nervous. For the first time in a long time, she found herself away from Idan, and at the same time she had to meet Irene, Idan's older sister, whom she was afraid of.
The conversation in the restaurant had eased her fear a little, but Idan had been with her then, and now he wasn't here. Arabel was afraid that Irene might behave differently without her brother.
Esma was completely calm. She was enjoying her stay in a new world, enjoying the surrounding beauty and new discoveries. Everything was new to her.
Arabel and Esma came here together, the little problematic fox cub was nowhere to be seen next to them.
"You've come! Just in time!" exclaimed Irene, meeting Arabel and Esma at the entrance to the house. She was holding her little son carefully in her arms.
Arabel and Esma's gaze immediately landed on the child. As in the photo, he had short red hair and brown eyes, like his mother. They were fascinated by this miracle, but they were afraid to approach it for fear of harming it.
Arabel hadn't fully mastered her power yet, and when she was away from Idan for a long time, her bloodline would begin to manifest, and a chill would radiate from her body.
"Oh, no way! I need to master my bloodline as soon as possible, otherwise I won't be able to hold this lump in my arms!" Arabel said in her mind with some regret that she wouldn't be able to hold her nephew in her arms because of her bloodline.
Esma, in turn, had almost no experience with dealing with children, although she loved selling her creation, which increased the chance of her clients having children. Knowing her clumsiness and strangeness, Esma was going to keep her distance from this little lump of life just in case.
Irene hospitably invited her guests into the living room, where her mother was already waiting for them.
As soon as Arabel crossed the threshold, she froze when she saw a middle-aged woman with short black hair. When she saw her daughter, grandson, and two strangers, she also stopped and looked at Irene in disbelief.
Irene just nodded at her, letting her know that everything was fine.
"Oh, my dear grandson!" exclaimed Irene's mother, picking up the baby in her arms. "Well, he's already gotten dirty!"
Noticing that her grandson had stained the diaper, she moved away to replace it, leaving the women alone.
Irene stared at Arabel intently, studying her new look, which was different from the one she wore in the restaurant today. Irene realized that this was the same appearance Arabel had used when they appeared outside the cafe yesterday.
Irene's gaze startled Arabel, and she felt a little uncomfortable.
"I still can't stop being surprised that you have such an amazing thing. You don't look like yourself at all, or even the version of yourself I saw in the restaurant," Irene admired.
All three of Arabel's appearances seemed to be completely different people. Even her System couldn't detect the disguise.
[Host, this is probably the famous "Ghost Mask"! It's a very rare thing. It's amazing that not only your future sister-in-law, but also your brother has one. The appearance of one Ghost Mask can already be considered a miracle, but two at once? Every time this System meets with these two, it can't wait to find out what kind of System they have!]
Irene was surprised, but her own System seemed to show admiration for this Ghost Mask.
Irene was also curious about her brother's and Arabel's System, but she followed the unwritten rules between awakened ones—not to ask about other people's Systems. After all, knowing the name of the System can dramatically change the situation.
"So where is Idan?" asked Irene, making sure that her mother would not hear their conversation. Idan and Arabel had already expressed a desire to remain in the shadows and act under assumed names, so Irene decided not to tell her mother about Idan's return yet.
"He stayed at a hotel nearby. Idan said he has plans," Esma said, beating Arabel to the answer, which surprised her a little.
"Plans?" Arabel asked, since Idan hadn't shared his intentions with her.
"Yes, Idan told me about it when I was trying to persuade Coco to come with us. He mentioned that he would take Coco with him for some purpose," Esma clarified.
Arabel immediately began to wonder what Idan was up to, since he hadn't shared his plans with her.
Irene, noticing Arabel's thoughtfulness, smiled and drew attention to the ring she was wearing.
"Is this the ring my brother gave you that day?" she asked.
Arabel was startled out of her reverie by Irene's question, and she looked at the ring. Yes, it was exactly the ring that Idan had presented to her when he had proposed on the System's task to complete the ritual.
"Yes, that's it," Arabel confirmed.
"Tell me, Arabel, do you really like my little brother or do you still..."-Irene stopped, then looked at Esma and continued: "Well, you know what I mean."
Arabel was taken aback by Irene's question. She didn't expect Irene to ask her such a direct question.
And at the same time, Arabel discovered something amazing about herself. If she had been asked about it earlier, she would have immediately begun to doubt and say that everything was complicated and so on. But this time she already knew the answer.
"Yes, I like him," Arabel replied without any hesitation.
Irene was satisfied with this answer.
"And you? Do you like my brother? Have you already given birth to his son, and he hasn't proposed to you yet?" followed immediately by a counter question that made Irene freeze.

Far from the capital of the Federation, a huge bird landed on a small hill with a beautiful view of the distant city and the vast expanses of wilderness. A young man was sitting on her back, and a little fox was lying on his shoulder.
