Supreme Harem God System-Chapter 1951 Second of the three gifts
Chapter 1951 Second of the three gifts
"Then link with it."
The Seer spoke, and just as Nux glanced at her with a doubtful look on his face, she smiled and nodded.
"Yes, Eternity won't know. Don't worry."
Nux smiled.
"But where did you find a weapon of this level that is not connected to Eternity? I thought all Relics were connected to them."
He couldn't help but frown.
"You wouldn't under—"
"Now you are just doing it on purpose, aren't you?"
Nux called her out and at his reaction,
"Hahaha~"
The Seer laughed out.
"Tsk."
Nux snorted, already knowing that the woman would not answer him. He was frustrated, yes, but seeing the woman laugh like that, he just sighed in defeat and focused on linking with the weapon she had brought.
"So how do I do it? Just like you link with normal Relics?"
Nux questioned.
"That is correct."
The woman nodded.
Nux nodded back as he held the Bloodedge and pointed the blade right in the middle of his forehead. Then his forehead and the point of the sword touched.
Bzzz
The Bloodedge trembled, and a drop of blood rolled down Nux's forehead, down to his nose.
Bzzz
A part of his blood was absorbed by the Bloodedge. The crimson veins pulsed brighter than ever, as if she was enjoying drinking blood.
Nux felt that strange, creepy energy he had sensed earlier entering his body, hiding itself from any sort of detection. Then, finally, his flaring sword calmed down.
He could feel it—the connection was made.
And to prove that,
Nux could feel the Bloodedge had started sucking his energy.
"She needs this much energy when she isn't even being used?"
He questioned, somewhat surprised. This much energy drain could pretty much cripple a normal Complete Sovereign within three seconds. Again, this was when the sword wasn't being used.
"Well, she was what they called a failed weapon."
The Seer chuckled.
"What…?"
"She is strong, yes.
She can be used by any being at any level, yes.
But the energy she needs is simply too high for it to be worth it."
Nux frowned at those words.
"But wouldn't the problem be solved as you go to higher levels and have more energy reserves?"
After all, that was how Relics worked, and this was the reason Sovereigns or Primordials weren't given one.

Most of the time, they weren't strong enough to wield one.
However, as one gets stronger, wielding a Relic only brought an advantage.
The Seer, however, shook her head.
"As I said, she can be used by any being at any level. Even an Ascendant or a Protector could wield it. Just that… they would never be able to use it."
"Of course, the Energy Drain would kill them before they would be able to do anything."
"Exactly."
The Seer nodded.
"The Sovereigns, Primordials, Transcendents, and even the Infinities face the same problem."
"Huh…?"
Nux blinked. Soon, however, he realized what the woman was talking about.
"While a Sovereign wouldn't last for long, a Primordial would be able to wield her for an hour. However, this is only when they merely wield her.
To use her, one would need to feed her more energy, and the energy required to kill a Primordial using her is twice the energy a normal Primordial would have."
"And the same is true for…"
"Higher levels too. To kill a Transcendent using her, one would need as much energy as a normal Transcendent would have.
For an Eternal, she needs half the energy an Eternal would have.
And for Infinity, she needs a tenth of an Infinity's energy.
So the number of times she can be swung by a wielder is extremely limited. A Sovereign and Primordial can never swing her. A Transcendent can swing her once, an Eternal twice, and an Infinity ten times.
And of course, this is just for when you swing her. If your hit misses or the opponent dodges, all the energy is wasted."
"What in the hell…"
Nux blinked in surprise as he stared at the sword in his hand, which seemed to be feeding on his energy without a care in the world.
"She's pretty much unusable. How is she even a Supreme Level Relic?"
"She is above a Supreme Level Relic."
The Seer answered.
"Huh…?"
"She is an Absolute Relic."
"I…"
"Yes, you have not heard of that term."
The Seer nodded.
"Absolute Relics are Relics that are stronger than Supreme Relics, but they are so strong that they cannot be wielded."
The woman then looked at the sword in Nux's hand and,
"She is one of them.
One cannot wield her, but if, by chance, there appears a being who can, she is the strongest weapon that being could hope for.
She is the strongest there is. No other Relic can be compared to her. It doesn't matter what sort of Defensive Relic your enemy has—if you attack him using her and the attack connects, she will cut him down."
The Seer spoke with absolute certainty.
"Even if it is a Supreme Level Relic, if given enough energy, she can cut it down."
"…"
Nux raised his eyes, overwhelmed. Once again, he stared at the sword in his hand and couldn't help but be impressed.
"She is so strong that when she was created, it was said that if one day, she finds a wielder, she will be the strongest weapon there is, and her wielder will become the most dangerous man in the entire Universe."
The Seer once again glanced at Nux and smiled playfully.
"And now I give her to you.
Do you have the courage to wield her?"
"Heh."
Nux grinned.
"The all-knowing Seer should know the answer to that question already, shouldn't she?"
The Seer grinned at those words as well.
"Why else do you think I gave her to you?"
"Thank you."
Nux smiled as he expressed his gratitude. He gently touched Bloodedge's blade and,
"She is the best gift someone has ever given to me."
The Seer, however, smiled at those words.
"That will change very soon.
After all,
She is only the second of the three gifts I have prepared for you."
