Wang Chong nodded in agreement, finding Cai Bin’s words quite sensible.

Upon seeing this, the disciples from Xuanyue Valley immediately gave chase. They exchanged glances before splitting into two teams, each rapidly following the paths Cai Bin and Wang Chong had taken.

At that moment, Chu Lingjun was struggling onward, wounded. Her beautiful face was etched with a solemn expression. Her battle qi was so severely depleted it was nearly impossible to gather, leaving her entire body in an extremely weakened state. Still, she didn’t dare think of stopping. "Caught by me and still thinking of escaping?" Wang Chong chuckled. "Dream on!"

As he spoke, Wang Chong leaped forward, slapping out with his palm. The Palm Shadow, carrying tremendous force, shot straight toward Chu Lingjun!

Chu Lingjun’s eyelids twitched. Seeing no way to dodge, she could only turn and quickly channel the last of her battle qi. Gathering it in her palm, she braced herself and thrust it forward!

As their palms collided, a violent impact thundered. The force sent Chu Lingjun flying backward, spitting blood before she crashed hard onto the ground.

A satisfied smile spread across Wang Chong’s face as he saw Chu Lingjun heavily injured once more. He looked as if he had just obtained a priceless treasure.

Sensing Wang Chong’s chilling smile, Chu Lingjun’s expression grew grim. She ignored the intense pain wracking her body and forced herself to her feet, only to stagger and collapse after just a few steps.

"You’d better surrender!" Wang Chong laughed, lunging straight for Chu Lingjun.

Chu Lingjun’s face paled, and she instinctively scrambled backward.

Just as Wang Chong was about to succeed, a rift suddenly appeared in space. A powerful suction force pulled Chu Lingjun into it, and her struggles were useless.

Seeing this, Wang Chong was completely stunned. What is going on? Where did this spatial rift come from? He could also feel an extremely potent Power of Thunder emanating from within, a force that made even him wary.

Wang Chong’s brows furrowed. Unwilling to give up, he prepared to pursue her, but before he could move, the rift snapped shut and vanished without a trace.

"Damn it!" Wang Chong roared, his voice thick with fury. "Where did she go?!"

He unleashed his rage on a massive boulder in front of him, striking it again and again. With a series of violent impacts, the boulder was pulverized, leaving a deep crater in the ground. How could he not be furious when the prize within his grasp had simply vanished?!
