"Be careful!" Long Chen shouted to the disciples of Guiyuan Academy.

Upon hearing his words, the disciples’ expressions changed slightly.

The sound of objects slicing through the air approached rapidly. Startled by the noise, the disciples of Guiyuan Academy spun around just in time to see several swords streaking toward them.

Seeing this, Dong Xuan immediately yelled, "Quick, get out of the way!"

The moment he spoke, Dong Xuan spun around, drew his great blade, and swung it forward. With a loud BANG, the incoming swords were all blasted away.

"Who’s there? Who’s launching a sneak attack from the shadows?" Dong Xuan shouted into the distance.

"Does a puny Guiyuan Academy really think so highly of itself? What arrogance." At that moment, an indifferent voice drifted over from afar.

Hearing these words, the faces of the Guiyuan Academy disciples grew tense. Shortly after, several figures appeared before them. The newcomers were none other than Lü Hao of Xuanyue Valley, accompanied by several of its disciples.

"Who are these people?" Long Chen asked Lin Feifei, who was standing beside him.

"That guy is Lü Hao, a disciple of Xuanyue Valley. His master is the Great Elder, so he holds a certain status there," Lin Feifei explained in a low voice.

But as it stands, all five of these Heaven Reaching Fruits belong to me."

Hearing Lü Hao’s declaration, Wei Lin was the first to object, snorting coldly. "On what grounds? We from Guiyuan Academy discovered the Heaven Reaching Fruit first. Since when was it Xuanyue Valley’s turn to claim them?"

"Pfft!" Lü Hao burst out laughing at Wei Lin’s words. He turned to his own disciples with a smile. "Did you hear what this guy just said? ’Since when was it our turn?’" He feigned cleaning his ear. "I didn’t mishear that, did I?"

His words prompted a roar of laughter from the Xuanyue Valley disciples.

"That’s hilarious! A measly academy like Guiyuan has no self-awareness at all."

"Before you bark again, open your eyes and take a good look! What is Guiyuan Academy compared to our Xuanyue Valley?"

"Exactly! You’re ignorant of your place. Let us warn you, if you truly anger us, Xuanyue Valley could obliterate your Guiyuan Academy with a flick of the wrist!"

The disciples of Xuanyue Valley continued their taunts, their arrogant and harsh words showing they held Guiyuan Academy in complete contempt.

Dong Xuan narrowed his eyes, analyzing the situation. In terms of overall strength, Xuanyue Valley is naturally far superior to Guiyuan Academy. Their opponents are numerous and powerful. Dong Xuan’s brow furrowed, his eyes narrowing. "So, you’re refusing the offer?"

"An insignificant academy like yours is unworthy of possessing a treasure like the Heaven Reaching Fruit!" Lü Hao barked. "All the Heaven Reaching Fruits here belong to us, Xuanyue Valley! This has nothing to do with you!"

Seeing Lü Hao’s aggressive attitude, Dong Xuan said coldly, "Xuanyue Valley, you’re going too far!"

"I *am* going too far. So what? What are you going to do about it?" Lü Hao retorted dismissively. He waved his hand grandly, ordering his disciples, "Take all the Heaven Reaching Fruits for me, now! If anyone from Guiyuan Academy dares to interfere, kill them without mercy!"
