Super Soldier King-Chapter 134 Rou Rou’s Thoughts
After eating lunch, Ye Qian brought Lin Rou Rou back to the hospital. This little girl seemed happy, but Ye Qian knew she was the type of person to hide her feelings. Ye Qian knew it would be useless to ask since she didn’t wish to say it. Ye Qian also understood the way this girl’s mind works. He could only accompany her and care for her more in the future to make her melancholy and disappointment disappear.
As Lin Rou Rou watched Ye Qian’s figure leave the hospital, a tear fell down her smiling face. She knew that Ye Qian wasn’t lying, he did indeed love her deeply; She also understood that a guy like Ye Qian had many women tangled up around him. She loved Ye Qian but she didn’t know what to choose. There were times that love could be selfish, you could not just tolerate everything, like what Lin Rou Rou said, she was just a woman, she also had selfishness, wishing that the person she loved would love only her.
But Lin Rou Rou understood that she had only to say the word and Ye Qian would drop everybody else; But this wasn’t what Lin Rou Rou wished to see. What she loved was the genuine Ye Qian, all of his loves and hates, all of his smiles and tears. She didn’t deny the position she had in Ye Qian’s heart, nor did she deny that the words he said were true; She only had a small feeling that she didn’t deserve Ye Qian.
Lin Rou Rou turned around and went back to the nurse’s lounge. She pulled out her cellphone and dialed Qin Yue’s number. She had secretly copied it form Ye Qian’s phone earlier. Qin Yue’s voice came through from the phone, “Hello, may I know who this is?”
“Hello.” Lin Rou Rou took a deep breath to calm herself down then said, “This is Lin Rou Rou, we met at the hospital earlier.”
Qin Yue was taken aback, then she replied, “Oh, yes. May I ask if something is the matter?”
“Miss Qin, do you have time? Can you come out and have coffee with me?” Lin Rou Rou asked.
Qin Yue was a sharp person, obviously she understood that Lin Rou Rou must have seen something was up earlier in the hospital. But she didn’t understand what Lin Rou Rou’s purpose could be. She didn’t think she would seek Qin Yue out just to make a scene, after all, back in the hospital earlier Lin Rou Rou displayed a very magnanimous personality. So Qin Yue knew that Lin Rou ROu was not that kind of person. “I have class in the afternoon. How about we meet at six in the evening at Starbucks? Is that okay?” Qin Yue said.
“That sounds good, then see you at six. See you there.” Lin Rou Rou said.
“See you.”
After she hung up, Lin Rou Rou stared blankly into space, sighing deeply, it seems as if she had come to a decision.
Ye Qian didn’t know that any of this was going on. After leaving the hospital he called Fu Jun Sheng and Mo Long to meet up in front of the Jinbi Huihang, Fu Jun Sheng was also to bring Zhao Tie Zhu and Mo Chun Hua.
After hanging up Ye Qian got a taxi and went straight for the Jinbi Huihang. Ye Qian was very curious about the Jinbi Huihang and asked Jack to look into the owner of the club, but nothing came of it.
Jack was still making preparations for the security company, because of this his style had changed. He was no longer as strict as before. This was also Ye Qian’s instructions to him. After all, the security company was just a front for the Wolf Fang in Shanghai. If the people they hired were of the same caliber as the Wolf Fang, it would certainly bring attention towards them; But if they only hired ordinary security guards, and pick out the outstanding ones after training to continue on the trail of investation, and allocate the rest to be normal bodyguards, not only would it give them some profits, it would also be a good cover.
All the matters of the company were handled by Jack, Ye Qian was just and arm-flinging shopkeeper. What Ye Qian was putting his attention on to now was Shanghai's city redevelopment. Tian Ya Conglomerate, Qing Yun Conglomerate and the Dong Xiang Conglomerate, these three leaders of Shanghai’s corporations were still constantly on the move over this matter, fighting openly and maneuvering covertly. Whoever won this contract would be able to get huge benefits, But Ye Qian was already prepared.
The Dong Xiang Conglomerate relied on Deputy Municipal Secretary Ouyang Cheng. But Ouyang Cheng had just gotten out of the Discipline Inspection Commision so he wouldn’t be making any big moves yet. So the chances for the Dong Xiang Conglomerate to win the bid became a little smaller. But it was still unknown whether or not the Dong Xiang Conglomerate had another trump card.
As for the Qing Yun Conglomerate, it was a home-grown corporation in Shanghai, a so-called local gangster above the law, the probability of them winning the big was really high. Behind the Tian Ya Conglomerate were the Hongmen. The scope of the Hongmen’s influence in China was not something anybody could describe in one or two words. In short, the three could be said to be evenly matched right now, who will win or who will be defeated was not something that anybody could predict right now. But whoever wins the bid will not have an easy time carrying the project out. Besides, the funds required for this city redevelopment was very large. Even though profits would be very large, the risks accompanying it was also very big. High risk, high reward, this was the never-changing law of business.
Ye Qian wasn’t impatient with getting involved in this disturbance. Sitting on the mountain to watch the tigers fight was the best method. After all, to rely on the Clear Sky Conglomerate’s influence, along with Ye Qian’s relationship with Wang Ping, and being a little careful during the bid, having the Clear Sky Conglomerate win the bid for the city redevelopment project would not be difficult. Right now the Hao Tian Conglomerate had only very recently established itself in Shanghai, but it was still an international corporation. No matter if it was with administration or with funds, it had a very robust foundation. But Ye Qian didn’t want to do this, After all if the Clear Sky Conglomerate won the bid, it would be equivalent to throwing it into the middle of the storm, there would be no gains in that.
Even though Ye Qian was impatient to speed up setting up the roots of the Wolf Fang in Shanghai, one had to be careful about their methods, being too anxious about it was no use.
Not long after, the cab stopped in front of the Jinbi Huihang. Ye Qian proceeded to go inside immediately after getting out of the car. But Ye Qian had just reached the door when a guard at the entrance blocked his path, “I’m sorry, sir, this is a private club, does not receive outsiders.” The guard said disdainfully. The guests of the Jinbi Huihang were rich and powerful, of course they would also arrive in limos. It was a first for him to see somebody arrive this way like Ye Qian did, so automatically he thought that Ye Qian was just some greenhorn that didn’t know what this place was. Besides, Ye Qian’s clothes were very ordinary, of course he wouldn't give Ye Qian a good look.
