Chapter 2019: Chapter 2082: It’s Him!

"So, you military folks are getting more shameless by the day. Two young girls, what use do you have for them? Trying to use this despicable method to force their family to comply?" the Saintess couldn’t help but mock.

Mig didn’t care. He touched his nose as if contemplating for a while, then looked up and said, "There are things you don’t understand, and telling you won’t help. Considering that we know each other, you should take your people and leave now. I’ll pay you the money just the same, without shortchanging you."

Mig’s overbearing nature showed through; even against the Saintess, he wouldn’t back down. To Li Yifei, it seemed quite rude.

"Haha." Li Yifei chuckled, drawing a lot of attention. It was now that the people across seemed to notice him. Of course, he had been the one to get out of the car first, facing so many guns and weapons, walking over by himself, and the Saintess followed him.

"Who are you?" Mig instinctively felt a sense of danger from the Eastern man beside the Saintess. This feeling was complex, one he could sense only after experiencing multiple life-and-death battles over the years.

The Eastern man stood there, unmoving yet imposing a significant pressure. Once he spoke, Mig immediately felt the pressure coming at him.

Who is this person? Mig wondered in his mind.

Li Yifei spoke up, "Why is it, in a free country like the United States, kidnapping has become so unabashed?"

Of course, it’s not so. This country is free but also has many laws. If the public were aware of the military’s involvement in a kidnapping case, there would likely be many repercussions. But the problem is such matters rarely get public attention, and it’s hard to say how many times it’s happened secretly.

However, this was Mig’s first time. He could have dealt with it personally but, considering the impact, he chose to find people from the Holy War Organization and Knight Group. It seemed like making a mountain out of a molehill since it was just about two ordinary women.

Who would have thought such a trivial matter would provoke the Saintess of the Holy War Organization and involve a dangerous Eastern man?

"The military has its reasons for doing things. I think you should turn around and leave now. At least, if I were you, I would!" Mig advised with a hint of warning, discreetly gesturing to his soldiers who came with him. They didn’t lift their guns but had their hands ready on the triggers, prepared to aim at Li Yifei and the others within a second.

"Too bad I’m not you." Li Yifei slowly shook his head, glanced down at the ground beneath him, then looked up at Mig. Twenty-some meters apart, he could see the wariness in Mig’s eyes, but Li Yifei wasn’t afraid at all.

"So, you intend to force your way through?" Mig asked threateningly.

"Haha." Li Yifei laughed, his laughter drawing a cold smile from the Saintess. Mig found the laughter provoking, his expression hardened, and he asked, "If you insist on rescuing them, then go ahead, see if your skills are better or my bullets quicker."

"Mm, Mig!" Li Yifei heard his words, and instead of getting angry, he laughed even harder. Right now, Li Yifei stood there with hands behind his back, tall and imposing, exuding a suave aura. Both Liang Wei and Yi Mei’er felt that the uncle was really handsome. If not for the circumstances, they would have rushed forward.

This person knows me? Mig’s eyes showed a hint of confusion. Who is this person anyway? How do they know me? Mig believed that within the military, he was quite known, many people who knew him, but outside of it, not so much. Did the Saintess tell him? No, since he arrived, she and the man hadn’t spoken, and the Saintess was surprised when he got out.

"Who are you? Tell me your name!" Mig asked cautiously, increasingly sensing danger from this man. This type of danger wasn’t easily described in words; he was just indeed very dangerous.

"Mig, are you getting more cowardly with age?" Li Yifei spoke in his own voice, addressing Mig.

Bang! Mig felt as if a giant bell had been struck in his mind. He had met many people, known quite a few, but Li Yifei’s voice was extremely familiar to him.

"You are... Golden Eagle?" Mig’s mind conjured up Golden Eagle’s image. He remembered the person’s voice. Hearing it now, he immediately thought of Golden Eagle. The man across had a similar build, but the face... The face looked alike but not exactly so, not to mention the lack of a beard, and the eyebrows and eyes were somewhat different.

"Haha, Mig, I didn’t expect to meet like this, but honestly, I’m a bit disappointed," Li Yifei shook his head.

Both were once kings within their respective country’s military, both were proud figures, and over the years, had a mutual sense of respect. Li Yifei neither admitted nor denied being Golden Eagle.

This... Mig felt his cheeks flush. He hadn’t expected his first attempt at such an endeavor would confront Golden Eagle.

Why is he in the United States, and how come I didn’t hear anything about it? For such a character, a legitimate entry would absolutely alarm relevant authorities in the United States; either he would be denied entry, or alerted instantly for interception. After all, Li Yifei is considered an extremely dangerous figure, perhaps he entered illegally...

The more Mig looked at Li Yifei, the more sure he was that this was Golden Eagle, even with the changed appearance.

"How... come you’re here?" Mig’s gaze alternated between Li Yifei and the Saintess, subconsciously assuming Li Yifei came looking for the Saintess, being aware of their matters.

"Since you’ve recognized me, let’s not beat around the bush. You know my intentions. So, Mig, shouldn’t you give me an explanation for why you kidnapped my two sisters?" Li Yifei questioned.

Mig’s heart trembled, nearly thinking he misheard. Were the ones kidnapped really Li Yifei’s sisters? What on earth is going on?

"Your sisters?" Mig’s face didn’t look good. He glanced back at the car behind him, his eyes full of uncertainty. If he really kidnapped Golden Eagle’s sisters, how should he deal with it?

Li Yifei dared to step into the United States; Mig didn’t necessarily have to confront him, as long as he wasn’t causing trouble in the United States, even though Li Yifei’s current danger level equates to top-tier terrorists.

"Yes, they are my sisters. I went to Seattle just to see them, and right after I left, the two of them were kidnapped," Li Yifei explained.

Hiss, Mig gasped, feeling the situation was complicated. On one hand, there was his leader’s task to handle a certain matter; on the other, the unyielding Li Yifei, alongside a Saintess obviously siding with him.

Mig discreetly grimaced, contemplating his next move.

After several seconds, Mig looked up and stared at Li Yifei, saying, "I captured them to question about a different matter. I can assure you I won’t harm them."

"Come on, Mig, although your status isn’t low, your words might not always hold sway over certain things. Let’s not beat around the bush; the fact I’m here means I’m determined to rescue them, and if you or your people try to stop me, I won’t hold back."

"So that’s what you mean..." Mig pondered briefly. He’s not one to hesitate; he’s been able to thrive for so many years because of his decisive nature. When it’s time to act, he won’t hold back. Facing Li Yifei’s pressing, Mig clenched his fists and said, "I’ll take the people, and you want to save them. So... why not we have a fight? If I lose, you take them. If you lose, these two remain here until the matter is resolved, then I’ll send them back."

"Haha, Mig, oh Mig, are you really... If they’re taken back by you, will they still listen to your opinion!" Li Yifei retorted bluntly.

"Fine, we’ll have a match, you win, you take them, no need for more words. And even if you defeated Satan, it doesn’t guarantee you’ll defeat me. You’re progressing, and so am I." 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

"Alright, let’s fight!" Li Yifei didn’t hesitate to agree, simultaneously glancing at the two girls in the car, knowing they couldn’t hear the conversation from outside, let alone over such a distance. But seeing the uncle face those people without any change in expression, seemingly at ease, the two girls turned starry-eyed, finding the scene more thrilling and heart-stopping than any TV drama, even forgetting their current danger.

The Saintess glanced at Li Yifei, hearing him agree, she didn’t stop him. In her view, Mig might be strong, but he was no match for Li Yifei, especially with Li Yifei’s youth and mysterious Eastern martial arts, different from what they practice.

Mig also felt a bit excited; he had long anticipated this day and wanted to have a proper fight with Li Yifei. When Li Yifei battled Satan, Mig had desired to encounter him, just that one was in Huaxia, the other in the United States, rarely could they step out, that’s why it was delayed, and their brief encounter in Afghanistan did not allow them to fight.

A truly fearless warrior shouldn’t fear strong foes; otherwise, calling oneself a martial artist would be meaningless, one should just go home and eat.

Li Yifei agreed, and Mig gestured to his men to retreat, making space for him and Li Yifei to duel.

Li Yifei needed no preparation; his body was always at its best state, and Mig was similar, quickly clearing a wide area for them.

Liu Yifei turned back to the Saintess, saying, "Be good, go back to the car and watch the kids. I’ll be back soon."
