Super Soldier in the City-Chapter 2016 - 2079: Two Women Kidnapped

Li Yifei hung up the phone, he knew who took Liang Wei.

Turning his head to look at the Saintess, Li Yifei hadn’t spoken yet but the Saintess already understood. She looked a bit uneasy, having also heard the conversation on the phone just now. Since Li Yifei looked at her right after hanging up, the Saintess guessed it might be the Holy War Organization’s doing.

"I’ll handle it." The Saintess said.

Li Yifei glanced at the child and said, "Forget it, let’s go together. After all, it’s partly my fault."

"Alright, I’ll take care of this matter." The Saintess said fiercely.

Liang Wei went out alone for business today, bringing a female bodyguard, the black woman. She was on the phone with Yi Mei’er at noon when suddenly Liang Wei let out a scream, followed by her shouting over the phone asking who they were and telling them not to knock her. Then, chaotic sounds came through, making Yi Mei’er immediately worried.

In Seattle, the security is decent but not perfect; otherwise, two girls’ families wouldn’t have sent professional bodyguards for protection. They never expected that a broad daylight shopping trip would lead to a blatant kidnapping.

The car pulled into Yi Mei’er’s villa; the gates and garage doors were open. Li Yifei jumped out first, with the Saintess following him holding the child. The villa’s door was also open. Running inside, Li Yifei saw someone lying on the ground, not Yi Mei’er, but her other bodyguard, a white woman, whom he remembered as Barbara.

"Not dead, just unconscious." Li Yifei said after testing with his hand, applying a bit of True Qi on Barbara’s forehead. She slowly awoke and hazily opened her eyes, promptly shouting, "Miss, run! I’ll hold them back!"

"It’s me, who took Yi Mei’er?" Li Yifei asked.

Only then did Barbara see Li Yifei and an unfamiliar woman, along with a child.

"I don’t know who they were. After Miss Liang was taken, I immediately heightened security, but before I could call the police, several people broke in, both men and women, moving swiftly and somehow breaking the door. Barbara went to retrieve the villa’s surveillances, which showed two cars coming, identical vehicles with license plates obscured.

Indeed, five minutes later, there was news. These four cars, moving in pairs, drove towards the city’s outskirts, just half an hour ago.

The Saintess saw the symbol too, an internal sign of the organization. Having this symbol indicated Holy War Organization members were there. She frowned and glanced at the Seattle representative accusingly.

The Seattle representative’s face turned fearful, the symbol had a letter, confirming it was Seattle’s Holy War Organization members’ doing.

"Saintess, I’ll check it right away. If it’s my people, I... will accept punishment." He spoke, disregarding previous hostility towards Li Yifei.

"Alright." The Saintess, displeased, had made promises to Li Yifei to properly handle things, only to be let down by her subordinates, feeling disgraced.

The Seattle representative led a team to check, and Li Yifei didn’t hesitate to follow.

Quickly, they found more evidence, nearly confirming the enemy’s location. Turning another corner, Li Yifei told the Saintess, "Could you hold the child for a bit?"

"Alright!" The Saintess nodded, then told Li Yifei, "You can handle it however you see fit."

Li Yifei appreciated the gesture, naturally aware that she understood his relationship with Liang Wei and Yi Mei’er, having explained it earlier.
