Super Soldier in the City-Chapter 1884 - 1947: Preparing for Treatment
In the morning, Li Yifei woke up early, sat cross-legged, and cycled his True Qi for two rounds. After that, he practiced a set of Military Boxing. Although the boxing techniques seemed useless, many of its moves had been refined through countless repetitions and were very effective in one-on-one combat. As a retired soldier, Li Yifei hadn’t forgotten these moves over the years and often practiced them.
Feeling refreshed, Li Yifei went to have breakfast. Previously, the Su Family would bring breakfast to his bedroom, but Li Yifei felt it was too special a treatment, so he refused. Before that, it was brought by Su Lio, which made Li Yifei even more reluctant to use it.

After blowing the ink dry, Su Tianhai pulled Li Yifei aside to explain some precautions, as well as the different meanings of the various symbols on the map. Li Yifei took mental notes diligently, feeling it was all so profound. The map only covered a few kilometers range around the Li family, but if it were the Great Formation covering a hundred kilometers around here, how large would the map need to be? It would be several times more complex, no wonder Su Tianhai spent so many years to complete it.
After an hour of explanation, Li Yifei attentively remembered everything. When he felt he had mostly remembered, Su Tianhai asked, "So, are you ready?"

The two arrived at Su Lio’s house, a wooden structure with a large tree beside it, appearing one or two hundred years old, very robust. About ten meters above the ground, there was a treehouse with green ivy hanging down to the ground, resembling a house in a fairytale world. This treehouse was one of Su Lio’s favorite places to stay, the other being the zoo on the back mountain.
If she were a normal girl, having such a romantic treehouse and a zoo would be something to boast about. However, Su Lio never boasted to her classmates; she stayed quietly in one of the two places, holding a book or simply daydreaming.
Daydreaming had been the longest activity in her life these past twenty years. Not long after she was born, she lost her parents, lacking parental love and, in turn, unable to give love to them either. Although her family loved her dearly, Su Lio still felt lonely. Eventually, she even lost the feeling of loneliness, as she was always on the verge of death...
Only those on the brink of death understand the taste of waiting for it, filled with despair. Therefore, Li Yifei’s wish for her to experience joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness was somewhat wishful thinking.
The Su Family knew that from today, Li Yifei would be treating Su Lio, so they put aside their tasks to come over. Some were worried, while others were pleased because if Su Tianhai continued treating her, his already failing health would deteriorate, possibly leading to his death first.
The appearance of Li Yifei relieved Su Tianhai.
Seeing so many people outside the door, Su Tianhai waved his hand and said, "Disperse, there’s no need to gather here, nothing will go wrong."
Everyone knew that the Elder had great confidence in Li Yifei, so they nodded and dispersed. However, young people like Su Tong didn’t want to leave, wishing to stay here. One of them, Su Xun, a few years younger than Li Yifei, came forward and said, "Thank you, Mr. Li. Please do your best."
Li Yifei’s title within the Su family was somewhat mixed up, but as an outsider, it didn’t hurt to call him in various ways. He nodded and said, "Don’t worry, everything will be fine."

Inside the room, Su Lio was heavily dressed, even wearing a winter sweater, as if on guard. Li Yifei, understanding the treatment process, simply shook his head with a smile.
"I won’t take it off!" Su Lio refused coldly. However, it wasn’t Li Yifei asking her to undress, but Su Tianhai. Wearing clothes would greatly reduce the effectiveness of the treatment, and Gold Needle Vein Sealing couldn’t be executed through clothes. Hence, the Elder tried to coax his granddaughter, but she was firm, leaving him helpless.
In fact, it wasn’t because Su Lio wasn’t hot in so many clothes; rather, the cold energy inside her body was uncontrollable, spreading throughout her body. Forget wearing a sweater, even wearing a down jacket wouldn’t make her feel warm.

Normally, he suppressed the cold energy before its outburst rather than after, as waiting would cause more pain. Quickly, he said, "Ali, stop being stubborn, your grandpa is begging you, let Yifei suppress the cold energy for you, it’ll be over soon. Besides, it’s just taking off the outer clothes, you can still wear a tank top, just like women outside do, it’s no big deal."
"Grandpa!" Su Lio bit her lip. The cold energy surged from the sealed spot, causing her increasing pain and coldness all over. It was just the initial sign; she remembered once when the cold energy erupted at midnight. Unexpectedly, it was earlier than she thought, hoping to call grandpa in the morning. Su Lio replied directly, "I don’t trust you!"

Elder Su’s face stiffened, "Ali, stop being willful, your cold energy is already spilling over, if not suppressed soon, it’ll only get more painful."
"Then...grandpa, you go outside," Su Lio hesitated and said.
Su Tianhai paused, then nodded, "Alright, grandpa will be waiting in the yard."
After saying this, he grasped Li Yifei’s arm and said softly, "Don’t be nervous, just do as I told you."
Li Yifei lightly nodded, "Don’t worry, great-grandpa, it’ll be fine."
"I’ll be outside, call me anytime," Su Tianhai said, then turned and left.
Once alone, Li Yifei faced away and said, "You take off your clothes first, I won’t look, but there’ll be body contact, don’t be tense, I’m not the kind of pervert you think, once you visit my home, meeting them, you’ll understand."

A minute later, a rustling sound came from behind, and Li Yifei patiently waited. After three more minutes, Li Yifei asked, "Are you ready?"
Su Lio, arms crossed, after a moment, whispered, "Ready."
Li Yifei said, "Then I’ll turn around now."
Turning is turning, why announce it? Su Lio thought, feeling reproachful. Though she often wore little while alone in her room, it was just herself. Now exposing herself to a man felt overwhelming.
Slowly turning, though prepared mentally, Li Yifei was still stunned by Su Lio’s appearance. Despite his broad experience, having seen plenty of tank tops and shorts on the streets and women’s bodies, even the most intimate parts, the sight of Su Lio in a pink vest and white shorts made his heart skip a beat.
