It was bustling with activity on deck, full of young men and women, most of whom were holding up their phones and recording.
Yu Xuan explained from the side, "I heard some live streaming platform chartered this ship for tonight. They’re apparently holding some kind of event, and most of these men and women are streamers from the platform, or influencers.
The captain said that if anyone asks later, we should just say we’re online streamers. With so many people here, it’s not like everyone knows each other anyway."
"No wonder."
Xu Yun nodded. He didn’t go join the crowd, as he had no interest whatsoever in so-called influencers.
After the ship set sail, he led Chen Xin and Yu Xuan to the railing on deck, where they leaned and gazed at the nightscape along the riverbanks.
But it didn’t take long for the two women with him to attract the attention of others.
Standing beside Xu Yun, both Chen Xin and Yu Xuan were so striking they stood out from the crowd of female streamers who were all using beauty filters.
A fairly popular male outdoor streamer was in the middle of a broadcast for his "bros" when he suddenly noticed his viewers frantically spamming the chat.
"I wanna see the girl in the background!"
"Show us or I’m unfollowing."
"That girl is gorgeous."
The outdoor streamer turned around curiously, moving the camera with him.
Sure enough, not far behind him, there was a man with two women. The man was handsome, and the women were beautiful.
The strange thing was, the three of them weren’t holding phones and streaming. They were actually just enjoying the night view.

’This is the perfect opportunity to go live and piggyback off each other for views.’
Small streamers leeched off big streamers, and big streamers leeched off each other, all for one single purpose.

In the streamer’s chat:

The streamer’s name was Liu Yuxin. He was an outdoor streamer and an expert at picking up women.
His content consisted of hitting on random women outdoors, getting their contact information, and playing games with them.
Seeing his "bros" getting so hyped up, and noticing the obvious spike in his viewership because of the two women, he decided to go over and use them for a bit of content.
’After all,’ he thought, ’aside from the staff, pretty much everyone on this ship is a streamer from the platform.’
’But I don’t recognize them. They must be either new or just have no fame to speak of.’
’If a big-name streamer like me takes the initiative to say hello and give them some exposure, they should be ecstatic.’

Liu Yuxin laughed off the chat’s teasing. "Alright, bros, watch and learn. I’m going to get their contact info for you right now."
With that, he confidently strode toward the two women.
"Hello, beautiful."
Liu Yuxin’s first target was Chen Xin, who looked innocent and approachable.
Seeing a strange man approach her with a phone to strike up a conversation, Chen Xin, who was never good with strangers, shyly hid behind Xu Yun.

Liu Yuxin asked with a smile, "Are you guys streamers on the platform too?"

"Then why aren’t you live right now?"
Liu Yuxin said confidently, "Meeting like this is fate. Give me your stream usernames. I’ll get my viewers to give you a follow and boost your numbers a bit."
"That’s not necessary, but thank you."
Xu Yun politely declined. "We’re just here to enjoy the night view today. We’re not really interested in anything else."
Liu Yuxin was speechless.
In the stream chat:
"Oof, did our boy just get shut down?"

Liu Yuxin watched the comments scroll by. He knew perfectly well this wasn’t scripted.
He was simply being disrespected.
He was still smiling on the outside, but inside, he was starting to get annoyed.

"You guys really don’t recognize me?" Liu Yuxin asked again, refusing to give up.

"I’m an outdoor streamer. My handle is Lord Ximen."
Liu Yuxin said with a grin, "You must have heard of me, right?"
"Never heard of you."
Xu Yun turned to Chen Xin and Yu Xuan. "Have either of you heard of him?"
"Nope."
The two of them shook their heads in unison.
One spent her days busy writing novels, the other spent her days busy making money; neither had any time to pay attention to streamers.
"See? No one here knows you."
Xu Yun said politely, "Look, man, why don’t you go stream somewhere else? We don’t particularly like having a phone shoved in our faces, especially by a stranger."
