Summoning Players into My Game-Chapter 586 - 327: Furious Waves Devour Sun and Moon, Mountains Shatter to Amaze Gods and Ghosts! (Part 2)
Rein Master displayed an electronic holographic map, marking four small circles on the map of the Wraith Mountain Range. Beside each circle, the number of Refining Organ Realm Martial Artists and Bone Forging Realm Martial Artists was recorded.
At the four strongholds, the number of Bone Forging Realm Martial Artists ranged between nearly a hundred to over two hundred.
In response, Rein Master divided the Half-step Heavenly Human Realm experts into four groups. To tackle the largest stronghold, Celestial Tyrant Beast Gaia and Storm Child Tania were assigned. Dusk Shadow Mishael and Rekasa were to confront the second largest, while Earth Star Pharmaceutical Seeker Merk and Three-headed smiling skull Uren were tasked with the third. Rein Master himself would handle the smallest stronghold.
After more than half an hour of strategic planning, Rein Master directed members of the Red Moon Commerce to lead the other three groups to predetermined locations, ready for a synchronized strategic gathering.
A top the Wraith Mountain Range,
Dusk Shadow Mishael and Rekasa, two Half-step Celestial Humans, led by a youth from the Blood Pattern Race, quickly arrived at a concealed cave on the mountain peak. From there, they could easily observe the area within six to seven kilometers, especially the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall stronghold six kilometers away, clearly visible to those with Blood Coagulation Realm eyesight.
"Sirs, there’s still about three hours until the action begins. During this period, please do not leave the confines of fifty meters from this cave. We have our life signal blocking devices here. The life detector cannot detect us; stepping fifty meters out of this cave will render the blocker useless," said the Blood Pattern Race youth respectfully to the two figures clad in black cloaks.
"Don’t worry, we understand." Dusk Shadow Mishael nodded, then pointed to the black cloak he wore and softly inquired, "But after all this, do you want the cloaks returned as well?"
"This material, which can block life signals, is rare and was found by our commerce in a ruin within the Restricted Area. We cannot give or sell it, I hope you understand," the Blood Pattern Race youth explained.
"Found in the Restricted Area ruins?" Rekasa, touching his own black cloak, remarked with admiration, "As expected of a relic’s product, it can completely shield life signals. It’s a pity you don’t sell them; otherwise, I’d buy a few myself."
Since entering the Wraith Mountain Range, they’ve been wearing these black cloaks. Thanks to the cloak’s ability to block life signals, not a single monster detected them, and traversing the range felt like a casual outing.
If Dusk Shadow Mishael hadn’t brought it up, he would’ve wanted to take it back after the task was completed to use it for enhancing safety levels in the Restricted Area.
Yet despite their thoughts, Dusk Shadow Mishael and Rekasa said no more about the cloaks. Instead, they gazed down from the peak at the large groups of figures converging below.
These individuals, arriving from the depths of the Wraith Mountain Range, were all heavily armed. The weakest were Middle Tier Bone Forging Realm, donned in Tier Two Battle Armor, wielding Tier Two Weapons. Their numbers ranged from dozens to over a hundred, with each team led by at least one Blood Coagulation Realm expert.
Initially, Dusk Shadow Mishael and Rekasa paid little heed to the arriving members of the three large forces. But as their numbers swelled, the two grew increasingly astonished.
"For this stronghold, just how many people did your three houses deploy?" Rekasa asked the Blood Pattern Race youth, unable to ignore the commotion below.
Faced with the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall’s second largest stronghold—over a hundred Bone Forging Realm Martial Artists and nearly three thousand Refining Organ Realm Martial Artists—Rekasa thought it impressive if the three forces could field equivalent numbers, especially considering the presence of the two Half-step Heavenly Human experts on their side. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
Yet witnessing the ever-growing numbers below left him truly stunned.
Even with a rough count, the three forces had deployed over 150 Blood Coagulation Realm experts and more than ten thousand Bone Forging Realm Martial Artists.
This didn’t seem like an operation to destroy a single Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall stronghold, but rather like an effort to combat a major power within the Four Domains.
The Blood Pattern Race youth, noticing Rekasa’s surprise, chuckled and said, "We’ve invested considerable time to gather people to take down Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall. Aside from our three houses, we’ve also recruited a number of Blood Coagulation and Bone Forging Martial Artists. For just this second stronghold, we’ve sent about 180 Blood Coagulation Realm experts and more than 13,000 Bone Forging Realm Martial Artists."
"180 Blood Coagulation Realm experts and over 13,000 Bone Forging Realm Martial Artists?" Rekasa couldn’t help but draw a sharp breath.
He had anticipated Earth Star Pharmaceutical and Red Moon Commerce wouldn’t easily let Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall off the hook, especially with their recent, uncharacteristically low-profile conduct, suggesting a major move against Black Obsidian.
But this scale was beyond his imagination.
Not only did they hire these Half-step Celestial Humans, but in just a few days, they’d gathered so many Blood Coagulation and Bone Forging experts. Such a formidable force just for a single stronghold; it was unfathomable how many experts were sent for the four strongholds combined.
A battle of this magnitude was, by his memory, a rarity in the Four Domains, occurring perhaps once in decades.
The last occurrence was thirty years ago, when the Domain City of the Desolate Ridge Region, leading various forces, faced a massive monster outbreak. Over a thousand Blood Coagulation experts were deployed, along with more than 200,000 Bone Forging experts. That battle shook the Four Domains and destroyed nearly a third of the land in the Desolate Ridge Region.
