Chapter 111: We’re Just Substitutes

The mix of our love juices gushed out of me and ran down my inner thighs and onto the floor beneath where I was sitting. I lay face down on the sofa when my legs gave out and I slid down to sit on the floor while I panted harshly to catch my breath.

Bradon sat down next to me as if we were comrades after finishing an intense race together. I glanced over at him as I took in a deep shaky breath.

This isn’t over...

“Where is Anthony?” I asked in a hoarse whisper.

The way his blue eyes widened and then narrowed as he turned to look at my face told me that I must have caught him off-guard with my sudden question. If he thought that I would have forgotten after all that we’d done, then he just found out that he had it all wrong.

“If this is too hard on you, you can think of me as my brother whenever we do it,” he said before showing me a mischievous grin.

It was clear that this wouldn’t be the last time that he wished to do it with me. The hot stickiness inside of me reminded me of the load that he had released deep inside of my belly and along with it came a mix of feelings that I didn’t quite understand.

“Is that what you’re thinking? Do you think of my sister while you’re fucking me?” I asked with my own comeback.

I wouldn’t blame him at all for having those thoughts or for making that mistake. After all, it wouldn’t be the first time that a member of the male race had made that mistake. As for me, I admit to having mistaken him for Anthony at the wedding and during our wedding night. I wouldn’t perfectly count that as being my fault because it was his intention to act as his brother and I was just a fool for falling for his great act.

Bradon did not reply to me, and I knew that that was a conscious choice that he had made. Baiting him with words had never been easy so I wasn’t exactly disappointed at his lack of reaction. If anything, his face had morphed into a cold and expressionless mask and that was the only clue that told me that he wasn’t at all pleased with what I had just said.

“I probably resemble her more than you resemble Anthony. After all, we’re identical twins...” I pointed out.

I would be lying if I said that my body had recovered. My pussy wasn’t the only thing that was aching from being overly abused and utilized. My lower back and an uncountable number of muscles ached all over my body. I managed to arrange my clothes into a state which I hoped was presentable enough before I reached my hands up to smooth out my hair.

“Where do you think you’re going?” he asked when I suddenly stood up.

“To the toilet. Where else? Do you want to come too?” I replied sarcastically without bothering to glance back at him.

**Later that evening**

In the end, I returned to the mansion with Bradon in complete silence. He either didn’t want to or wasn’t bothered to strike up a conversation with me while I had too much to think about than to ask him questions that I knew he wouldn’t answer.

Where is Anthony?

What happened to him?

My brows knitted together before shock settled in when I realized the implications behind my second question. With everything that was going on, I could no longer ignore the foreboding feeling that told me that something bad might have happened to Anthony. Although I tried to tell myself that it wasn’t at all likely, I just couldn’t get rid of that sickening feeling at the back of my mind.

Zain and Jenna were both there to greet us at the door when we got out of the car. The worried look on Jenna’s face told me immediately that she had heard the gist of the story regarding my attempt to get away from Zain. I pressed my lips into a thin line before nodding my head once at Zain as a way to silently apologize to him for what had happened. Hopefully, he wouldn’t get into too much trouble with Bradon because that would make me feel even worse about myself.

“Shall I set up dinner for you?” Jenna asked in a small voice.

The atmosphere felt so rotten and heavy that food was the last thing on my mind. If having dinner meant that I needed to spend more time in Bradon’s presence, then I would rather starve for the night. I shook my head at Jenna before silently making my way toward the staircase that would lead me up to my bedroom.

It didn’t bother me that Bradon didn’t follow me. In fact, I was glad that I had the time alone to wrap my head around what might be going on. I took out my phone and began scrolling through Anthony’s social media account again. Just as before, his account was active with his photos attending public events as expected of him. Everything seemed normal on the surface; however, since I met Bradon’s acting as Anthony at his office, I began to wonder if everything was truly normal and as it seemed.

The answer had been staring me in the face for so long. In fact, Bradon had gone out of his way to warn me about it and quite directly so.

Nothing is as it seems...

As if the thin translucent veil that had been covering my eyes suddenly fell away, I began seeing things for what they probably really were. For the first time, the many recent social media posts of Anthony looked like Bradon. The tall and strikingly handsome blond hair man with a confident smile that looked kind at the same time was Bradon instead of Anthony. Even though he was clearly dressed up to look the part and he acted flawlessly to fool everyone, I could see now that it must have been Bradon pretending to be his younger brother all along.
