Everything the laser touched was absolutely eviscerated in no time at all! The targeting feature of the Death Star began to locate all enemies within the world of the Machina, and the Death Star shifted to attack them! Alexander screamed as a laser passed through the left side of his body and absolutely destroyed it, and he dashed towards a building on the other side of the city to try and hide! Jason’s Legion subordinates, who had been killing the soldiers around the world, were all being targeted with pinpoint accuracy, but since there were so many Machina soldiers around the Legion subordinates, the Machina ended up as collateral damage from the massive explosions that followed!
The Death Star continued its onslaught for the next few minutes! It was a weapon powered by a massive Mana Stone that had been taken from one of the Phantasmal Trolls living on the Everglade Mountains in the world of Carin! The Trolls were Primordial Rank beings known to be very territorial and aggressive, and these personalities translated to how chaotic their mana was! But the best part of using their core was the fact that they had one of the highest mana capacities amongst all magical beasts! So even though the Death Star was unleashing enough firepower to eviscerate anything below PRIMORDIAL Rank, it had more than enough power to sustain its attack for a long time! Nothing within a million-mile radius was safe, and by the time the Death Star began to slow its attack, it had levelled everything in the vicinity to ash! The people, buildings, air carriers, and even the bridges that connected the various cities together had all been burned down by the powerful laser! There was a deep silence that permeated across the entire region as the sound of battle finally seemed to die down, and it was only after he was sure that the laser was no longer going to attack that Alexander finally emerged from the ashes of a large building!
Alexander had transformed his body into a tiny insect that was no larger than a human head, and he crawled slowly over the ashes of the burned-down world with a noticeable limp on his left side! The insect he had transformed into was known as a Silver Carapace, and it had thick silver skin that allowed it to reflect most light-based attacks! If not for this transformation, Alexander knew he would have died to those lasers, and as he looked around, he let out a small breath of relief as he realised that neither Jason nor Gillian was around. Alexander slowly transformed his body back into its slime form while hoping that those two were really dead, and he released enough mana to reopen the Dimensional Tear to leave this world once and for all.
DOON!
But just as Alexander was about to pass through the Dimensional Tear, he felt his eyes widen in shock as a power appeared from behind him! Alexander turned around sharply to see Gillian and Jason burst out from within the shadows of a burnt-down house, and Alexander felt a sudden rage pour out from deep in his heart!
"WHY WON’T YOU FUCKING DIE!!!"
Alexander cursed in righteous anger before he was suddenly body-slammed through the Dimensional Circle!
It was at this moment that many other figures began to appear in the world of the Machina! The battle between the three powerhouses had sent massive ripples of mana across the entire Primordial Expanse, and there wasn’t a single person in this Domain who didn’t feel that power, but even though anyone wanted to come to the Machina’s aid, a lot of the people didn’t think it was possible since the Machina had always blocked interdimensional travel into their world! But after some time, their curiosity became so strong that they just had to try and see what was going on! And many of them were surprised when they actually managed to cross the Dimensional Tear and appeared in the world of the Machina! But even though hundreds of extremely powerful individuals appeared in this world to help, it was already too late for the Machina! Leaders from various worlds parallel to the world of the Machina, as well as some of the council members who had been close by, appeared from various regions of the world, and all they saw before them was death and destruction as far as the eye could see! The massive Death Star hung in the sky as a symbol of pure carnage, and there were dead Machina bodies littering the streets like scrap metal! Someone had done so much damage to the Machina that the Machina were actually forced to activate a last resort that killed both themselves and their enemies!? The onlookers hadn’t seen so much destruction happening in such a short time since the Period of Lawlessness, and they all knew that there would be serious consequences for whoever had done this!
On the other side of the world of the Machina, another Dimensional Circle opened up, and a majestic carriage came into the world of the Machina, guarded by various soldiers. The carriage had the emblem for the Minori royal family burned into its side, and Hesabeth turned her head to look outside the carriage window at the exact moment when Gillian and Jason appeared from the shadows. Hesabeth had come to this world after she went to Riyad earlier and found that there was nobody there! Even though Hesabeth had been planning to meet with Jason on Riyad, he dared to ignore her generosity by leaving that world and allowing her to waste her time traveling there in the first place? Hesabeth decided that she was not going to overlook such an insult! But the moment Hesabeth arrived in this world, she felt shock pass through her for the first time in a very long time when she laid eyes on the sheer destruction that had befallen the world of the Machina! The once great utopia had been reduced to metal and ash, and there was barely even a single person left alive! But what caught Hesabeth’s attention the most was the magic signature of someone that she hadn’t seen in years! A magic signature that Hesabeth thought she would never feel in her life again! Hesabeth turned to the side sharply at the same moment that Jason and Gillian appeared, and her eyes widened in shock as she saw the three fighters fall into a dimensional tear and vanish!
"My Queen, is something the matter?"
"Find them."
The soldier who spoke was one of Queen Hesabeth’s personal guards, an upright man named Rafel who had been protecting Queen Hesbeath since she was still a child. Rafel felt his brow furrow when he heard the desperation in Queen Hesabeth’s voice. This was the first time he would hear her sound like that. Rafel immediately knew that something had gone seriously wrong! Rafel spoke with a cautious tone.
"My Queen, who are you talking about –"
"I said, find out where they went now! Find them right now! GO!"
RUMBLE!
A massive storm cloud rumbled in the sky in response to Queen Hesabeth’s anger, and the royal guards realised that their Queen was dead serious about her orders! Rafel quickly ordered the rest of the soldiers to move towards the direction of the Dimensional Tear that just closed, and Queen Hesabeth felt her heart racing as her carriage began to move once again!
