Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 40: Trust and It’s Aftereffects
Chapter 40 - Trust and It's Aftereffects
Strangers and other people weren't important enough for Jason to tell them anything about his abilities, and he didn't trust anyone enough to expose his system. But his family was important enough, and he trusted them enough to tell them about the Legion.
Jason sighed and spoke up calmly while standing.
"Okay, I need to show you something. You need to promise me you won't freak out, and you can't tell anyone what you're about to see here."
Gina's brow furrowed in surprise. She pulled her shirt down and sat up, placing her hands between her closed legs. She wondered what Jason could possibly be planning to tell her, and she couldn't even try to hide her curiosity when she spoke.

"What's going on? You sound like you're about to tell me something crazy, like you murdered someone or something... Wait. Y-You're not a murderer, are you? Because if you are, we need to figure out how to hide the body."
Jason chuckled at Gina's dry joke and shook his head. He had no idea how she could've possibly jumped all the way to that conclusion, and he wasn't even going to bother trying to figure it out.
"No, I didn't kill anyone. Just... alright, come out here."
Jason's last words weren't said to Gina, and Gina furrowed her brow and wondered who he was talking to. But her eyes widened in shock as she felt an insane amount of mana pouring out from Jason and filling the room! An astral figure suddenly appeared beside Jason, and it quickly formed into the shape of a two-meter-tall wolf with white fur and purple markings! A Magical Beast!
"Jason! Move!"
Gina immediately began to call her mana as she saw the beast! Gina had gone into many Gates over the past few years, and her natural instinct whenever she faced off against a Magical Beast was to kill it before it could kill her! Gina wasn't going to wait and see what it was going to do!
Woosh!
Three large wind geysers appeared behind Gina as her Gift came to life in preparation for an attack! But in her shock, Gina failed to notice how her mana had become stronger than it was, and the wind geyser behind her created a massive storm that threatened to destroy the entire apartment!
Gina was about to throw the attack forward, but she suddenly stopped when she saw the beast lower its body to the ground and lie down on the floor beside Jason's leg. Jason bent down to pet it gently, and Gina looked from Jason over to the wolf in shock. What the hell was going on?
"This is my Gift, Gina."
Gina was in too much shock. A part of her had been curious about how Jason really managed to live through the Gate, and she wanted to ask him about it for a while now. But she had put it off all this time because she was just happy that he was back. So seeing this finally made a lot of sense to her!
Gina spoke up with wide eyes.
"You're a summoner?"
"No, not exactly. I can only summon the souls of dead creatures."
"So a necromancer? Jason, do you know how amazing this ability is? This beast is a Disaster Rank! It's strong enough to kill a B Rank, and you're an A Rank! Just the both of you can take out an entire Red Gate on your own!"
Jason nodded along. He still wasn't going to tell anyone about his system and all the other abilities that came with it for now, but he knew that this much would be enough to convince Gina that he wasn't going into Gates alone.
Gina put her hands over her mouth while staring at the wolf. It gave Gina a curious look before releasing a loud 'yip!' that made Gina jump back in fear! Jason laughed, and the monster vanished in a spray of purple light as he sent it back into his Alternate Dimension.
Knock~ knock~
"Did someone order a pizza!?"
A voice came from the door as the delivery boy brought the food, and Jason went to get it since Gina still looked shocked. Jason came back with two boxes and put them on the table before he sat on the couch, grabbed Gina, and set her on his lap.
Jason spoke up seriously.
"I can summon a few more beasts depending on how much mana I have, but I'm only telling you all this because I trust you. You can't tell anyone what you saw here. Do you understand?"
Gina spoke up in confusion.
"Why don't you want to tell anyone about this? With an ability like this, the guilds would have a blood war and kill each other just to have you join them! You can join any of the A-Rank guilds! You could even join BloodRaven!"
Jason shook his head. He understood Gina's confusion, but there was a part of him that just refused to become anyone's subordinate. Maybe it was because of his ego or maybe it was his natural mindset, but he wasn't going to put his life and actions in the hands of someone else.
Besides, Jason still didn't know who he could trust out there and who would backstab him. Joining a guild and telling them about his ability would make the wrong set of people turn their attention to him. He wasn't powerful enough to stand up to those people yet.
"I'll explain everything to you when I'm ready, Gina. But for now, I need you to promise me you won't tell anyone what you saw here today. Promise me."
Gina sighed tiredly when she saw the serious expression on Jason's face. This was the look he had only when he was dead serious about something. Gina knew that she was the older one between them, but it was because of things like this that she could never see Jason as just a young boy. The look in his eyes was far too mature for his age.
Gina decided that since Jason was this serious about it, she would keep quiet too. Jason had to have his reasons for keeping this a secret, and she wasn't the sort of person to try and pry out every secret from her partner. The fact that he told her his Gift at all showed that he trusted her more than anyone else, and she loved him even more for that!
Gina leaned down and kissed Jason softly before she hugged him with a sigh.
"Okay, babe. I won't tell anyone. But promise me that you won't do anything dangerous. Even though you have Magical Beasts there to help you, you can't be too careful. There are monsters in the Gate that would make even A Ranks terrified."
Jason nodded along to her warning, and when she kissed him again, he gained a small smile. Jason put his hand on Gina's exposed thigh and squeezed it softly. His hand sank into the supple flesh, and Gina moaned as she felt his hand slowly moving toward her core!
Gina pulled back with a breathless voice before she laughed softly and spoke.
"You're such a pervert. We just did it two minutes ago!"
Gina could feel Jason getting harder against her ass, and Jason hummed before pressing his finger against her crotch and making her shiver in ecstasy!
"Ohh~"
Gina let out a moan, and Jason grinned when he felt a wetness against his finger.
"I guess I'm not the only pervert."
"Hah~ Our pizza's gonna get cold."
"We'll reheat it. Come here."
"Kya!"
Gina suddenly let out a cute sound in shock as Jason turned and pinned her against the couch! Jason raised a brow at her, and she blushed in embarrassment before pulling him down roughly!
"You didn't hear that!"
"You mean that cute little thing you just let out?"
"Noo! Jason, forget it! Forget it right now!"
Jason laughed in amusement before he leaned down and kissed her.
