It was a day like any other in the Mountain River Sect.

Declarations of battle could appear at any moment, but the Mountain River Sect was relatively stable. Except for the centennial declarations of the really powerful surrounding Organizations, they didn't get many other declarations of battle.

There had been a battle of Formation Arrays between her and the old Formation Elder in which both of them had built Formation Arrays to compare their proficiencies.

The battle hadn't been easy for Star Genesis since the old Formation Elder had a Space Affinity. Having a Space Affinity made it much easier to learn about Formation Arrays since almost all of them required some insights into the Laws of Space.

Luckily, she managed to win due to the expensive designs she had bought with her Contribution Points from the Array of Stars.

As everyone went about their daily business, Star Genesis received an alert from her Sensing Formation Array.

An unknown aura of considerable strength had just entered the atmosphere of the Central Planet of the Mountain River Sect.

Star Genesis narrowed her eyes and sent a high-priority warning to the other members of upper management.

Yet, moments later, it became clear that the Sensing Formation Array hadn't been necessary. Sensing Formation Arrays were used to sense people who were trying to sneak up on them.

The Seeker with the strong aura was definitely not trying to sneak in since almost all Crushers near the headquarters sensed the powerful and violent waves of Energy coming from that person.

Was this an attack?

Almost all members of upper management shot out of their houses and looked upwards.

An instant later, they saw a titan wearing the most over-the-top and luxurious set of armor they had ever seen. Even though most of them didn't know anything about Formation Arrays, they could tell that the armor was insanely complicated and probably equally expensive.

As upper management looked at the new person with narrowed eyes, Star Genesis looked at the person with confusion.

'This aura feels like Kyle's aura,' Star Genesis thought. 'Is that really him?'

Naturally, Star Genesis had had a lot of contact with Kyle, which was why she had immediately connected the new person with him.

"This is the territory of the Mountain River Sect," the Sect Master transmitted to everyone, including the newcomer. "State your business!"

The shining titan slowly turned his head to look at the headquarters of the Mountain River Sect.

Then, he transmitted a snort to everyone. "Is this the best your Formation Elder can do?"

Star Genesis felt a bit insulted. "I'm the Formation Elder," she transmitted to Kyle.

'Ah, fuck,' Kyle thought.

"It's not bad," Kyle added in his voice transmissions, "but it's not good enough if you truly want to stand out."

"Seekers are the foundation of every Organization…"

Then, he waved his arm grandly to the side. "But Seekers also need a foundation! What is a man without a proper home? How can a Seeker focus on comprehending the Laws when they don't have a place that makes them feel safe?!"

Upper management was mostly confused and insulted by Kyle's denouncing words.

"I repeat, state your business," the Sect Master transmitted.

Kyle crossed his arms. "My business is business," he answered. "I just came out of seclusion and decided to look around the Secondary Sector for a bit. I wanted to see what independent powers could create on their own."

Kyle slowly shook his head. "If your Organization is anything to go by, the art of Formation Arrays truly has great room for improvement in the Secondary Sector."

The Elders narrowed their eyes at the insult. Did this stranger come to them just to insult their Sect?

"Your words are baseless insults," the old Formation Elder answered. "We might not be the most powerful Organization in the Secondary Sector, but the Formation Elder and I have significant accomplishments in the field of Formation Arrays. These Formation Arrays are jointly set up by us!

Star Genesis remained silent as she just glared at Kyle, half-seriously. She was happy that he was alive and well, but she was also a bit angry that Kyle insulted her skills.

A mere 500 years ago, Kyle didn't even know how to create a Connection between two Nodes, and now, he was talking like he was the one who had invented the concept of Formation Arrays.

She wasn't entirely sure what he was planning or why he was here. None of the ideas they had come up with had included such a public appearance.

"Your words reveal your lack of commitment to the art of Formation Arrays," Kyle answered. "You set up the Formation Arrays?"

Kyle snorted. "Why didn't you say that you designed them?"

The former Formation Elder huffed. "Becoming a Formation Engineer is a lifelong path that cannibalizes your achievements as a Seeker. Understanding the most fundamental concepts of how Formation Arrays work consumes endless time."

The former Formation Elder sneered. "We are honest and can see our true level of skill in the field of Formation Arrays. We are Formation Technicians, and we never claimed to be Formation Engineers."

The former Formation Elder glanced at Kyle's armor with derision. "We do not need to mask our lack of knowledge in Formation Arrays by wearing a Formation Array someone else designed."

Kyle just chuckled when he heard that. "You see a boulder you can't lift and assume nobody can do it."

Kyle hit the chest of his armor, and the flowing liquid released blue flames.

"This is my design! I conceptualized it, created it, and set it up! I swear on my Realm, except for the raw materials, I have created the entire set of armor!"

Star Genesis and the former Formation Elder looked at Kyle in shock.

The others didn't know anything about Formation Arrays, which was why they couldn't truly appreciate just how complex the Formation Arrays in this set of armor were.

Just the fact that the Formation Arrays used and manipulated Energy coming from an obvious Complex Law was putting their skill to shame.

Manipulating Energy from a Complex Law was far more difficult than manipulating Energy from Pure Laws.

The reason for that was simple.

Everyone could see and study Energy related to Pure Laws. There were countless designs that manipulated these kinds of Energies.

Meanwhile, Complex Laws were not naturally occurring. They were semi-unique, sometimes fully unique, creations of individuals.

Common Complex Laws like the Complex Laws of Allfire or Allwater were well-studied, but any Formation Arrays involving them were extremely expensive due to their very specific use-case.

The Complex Law this stranger used couldn't be recognized by any of the present people. Most likely, it was not unique. Amongst billions upon billions of Crushers, some must have combined the same Laws.

Yet, it was still far rarer than the most common Complex Laws.

If this person had simply said that he had bought the design, everyone would believe that he was just rich.

But claiming that he made this thing completely himself…

Sure, if he were a Spirit Lord or stronger, it would be believable. Maybe a talented Formation Engineer Sage could also do it.

A Crusher, though?

That was hard to believe.

And yet, they had to believe him. After all, he had made an oath on his Realm, which was very serious.
