Boom!

The extreme anger triggered purple dots on the veins all over his body. Suddenly, purple mist appeared in his veins.

The purple mist then disappeared into every part of his body, temporarily boosting the strength of his physique at a fast rate.

Jeremy’s eyes turned purple. He knew what had happened. He had been wondering about the purple dots on his veins earlier; he knew it could be some ability.

But he didn’t expect his rage to trigger the ability.

Jeremy felt enormous energy ready to burst out from his body. But this energy was different from the starlight power. He couldn’t control it. It disappeared into his body.

By this time, the pincer touched his body.

Boom!

His left hand was on the pincer. He punched using his left hand. The terrific force cracked the pincer upon contact.

Jeremy broke free from the grasp of the pincer. The current state of his physique was stronger than before.

He didn’t know exactly how strong. Taking advantage of the bewildered state of the beast,

Jeremy saw the blade-cut wound on the beast’s hand.

Swoosh!

He attacked by slashing at the injured hand of the beast.

Pfff!

The blade swept through the right claw.

The current state of his physique was so strong that he ended the move before making continuous slashes.

Pfff!

In the blink of an eye, he made a couple of slashes before severing the claw of the beast from its right side.

The severed right claw dropped to the ground.

At the same time, Jeremy felt his strength disappearing. His eyes glinted with understanding. The purple mist had given him a temporary boost.

If he completely ran out of energy, then the beast would eat him alive.

"Explosive Step!"

He used his remaining strength for speed. His body disappeared from the spot. It took a few seconds for the Tier-6 Beast to realize what had happened.

The Tier-3 ’Human Ant’ had gained strength out of nowhere and severed its claw.

Scream!

The Scorpion beast let out a sound of anger. Then it saw that human ant running away at a speed faster than before.

Swoosh!

It disappeared from the spot and started charging forward. The scorpion tried to catch up, only to find that the human ant was slipping away.

It wasn’t able to catch him.

Jeremy Night arrived at the main street in the blink of an eye. Flying cars whizzed past him. He then changed direction and continued to run.

The streets on the ground were filled with people, while flying vehicles moved above their heads.

As the beast moved, it destroyed the building and the underground facility.

The device responsible for the barrier was damaged as well, so the layer covering the area disappeared from the sky.

Boom!

The Tier-6 Scorpion beast came onto the road. Its appearance stunned everyone and caused vehicles to collide one after another.

Seeing that, Jeremy Night slipped away through the crowd. In a flash, he entered a different street. But he had exhausted all of his energy.

His legs lost all their strength. He walked up to a nearby building and sat down on the staircase.

Meanwhile,

The appearance of the higher-tier Corrupted Beast was causing chaos and confusion. The City Governors immediately sensed the presence of the beast inside the city.

They were City Governors Orion, Leon, and Martin.

Among them, City Governor Martin’s face changed, but he soon recovered his normal expression. The other City Governors didn’t notice it.

Swoosh!

The two City Governors left the place to kill the Tier-6 Scorpion. Only Martin stayed back.

"Useless people..." Martin uttered.

He knew the criminal organization was doing many shady things. They couldn’t do anything about it because of the presence of a backer behind them.

Now that the Skull Gang members had lost their minds and used the captive facility, he thought that even the backer couldn’t save them.

However, the work of the City Governors would be questioned by the Human Alliance higher-ups.

Meanwhile,

The City Governors were the first to arrive. They didn’t waste time dealing with the beast. City Governor Leon captured the beast and took it outside the city to kill it.

Otherwise, the destruction of the beast here would cause numerous casualties.

City Governor Orion followed the trail of the destroyed buildings before finding the underground captive facility.

The governor’s face turned ugly. He knew something about the criminal organization. He thought that the Tier-6 Beast must have gained the strength to break out of the facility.

Fortunately, they had found it before anything worse could happen. Governor Orion then went inside the facility to check.

He came to the middle of the room and saw a large circular device. Governor Orion’s face changed drastically. How could he not recognize the device?

The device was costly. It was used to shield the presence of the Corrupted Beast. But he saw that the device was damaged.

He then connected the dots. His eyes flickered with understanding. If the device had not been damaged, the place would have continued to shield the beast.

Since the beast broke out from the place, it had damaged the device in the process. He then left the place and appeared in mid-air.

Governor Leon killed the Tier-6 Scorpion beast in the wilderness. Then he received a phone call from Orion.

After hearing his words, he was shocked as well. He ended the call and quickly rushed back to the city.

A few minutes later,

He joined Governor Orion. Governor Martin appeared a few seconds later. His face was neutral, but he was shocked in his heart.

Governor Orion looked towards them. His expression was grim.

"We have landed ourselves in big trouble. An oversight regarding some matters has led to this situation," Orion said to them.

"It’s all because of the criminal organizations. The Skull Gang used this facility for revenge, but it backfired big time."

"The Tier-6 Black Scorpion Beast managed to break out from this place," Governor Leon said in a cold tone.
