5th Zone, City-A

2 hours later,

Jeremy Night walked out of the training room. He then went to the bathroom to take a shower. The shower lasted for 20 minutes.

When he walked out, he immediately changed into fresh clothes. It was the uniform of the organization.

A sharp glint appeared in his eyes. Yesterday, he noticed that beast tamers were dressed in casual clothes.

He then began to get ready.

A few minutes later,

Someone knocked on the door. He immediately thought of Melinda. He knew it was time to meet Head Harold Red.

He walked up to the door and opened it. The next second, he saw the middle aged woman, Melinda.

Melinda saw that Jeremy Night was ready. He was wearing the uniform, but it was not the uniform of their 5th Branch.

She then walked into the room. She looked around before taking out a new storage bracelet.

"Here, take this new storage bracelet. It has a uniform and other necessary items, including the map and booklet about the distribution of the forces here," Melinda said.

Hearing that, Jeremy received the new storage bracelet. The new storage bracelet was wine red in color.

He was used to seeing black and silver bracelets. This was the first time for him to see this color of bracelet.

"Go and change into the new uniform. Head Harold Red is waiting for us," Melinda said.

"Okay," he replied before going to the room.

Melinda then sat on the sofa. She raised her eyebrows in doubt. She found Jeremy Night’s aura seemed to be stronger.

It surprised her. She recalled Jeremy Night was not this strong yesterday. She thought he must have broken through today.

She couldn’t help but recall the words spoken by Head Harold Red yesterday.

"It appears Head Harold was right. This is interesting," Melinda thought.

But she still had the thought that Jeremy Night’s strength was not enough. If the news were to be released, what awaited was chaos.

There would be many opposing voices. She didn’t know how the kid would face all of it.

A few minutes later,

Jeremy Night walked out wearing the wine red and black uniform. Melinda saw Jeremy Night and nodded to him.

"Let’s go." After saying that, she stood up and left the room.

Jeremy Night followed her to the exit. He then closed the door and started walking behind her.

A few minutes later,

They reached another floor and came to see Head Harold Red. His office room was open. Both of them walked inside.

Jeremy Night was feeling slightly nervous. It was the first time for him to meet Head Harold. Then he saw an old man over sixty seated at the desk.

He had short red hair and a beard. He was wearing the red uniform as well. It was a battle uniform. Jeremy observed Head Harold Red.

Head Harold was looking at him. In one glance, he saw through Jeremy Night’s strength.

"Mid or Peak stage," Harold thought.

He was surprised. He knew that just one year had passed since the kid graduated from high school. Yet, he was able to reach closer to Tier-3 with a special A-Grade Talent.

He thought Jeremy Night’s talent was special. He knew about the talent called.

"Supreme Combat Body," he thought.

On the other hand, Melinda saw that the two of them were observing each other. She then coughed to attract their attention.

The next second, Harold looked at her. He then asked both of them to sit down.

Jeremy Night sighed inwardly. He then pulled out the chair to sit down.

Melinda did the same.

Head Harold said, "Kid, my friend was saying great things about you. Your track record proved well."

"You did well in the 9th Zone’s Beast Invasion. Not only that, you survived the flight accident to come here," he added.

"Flight accident?" Melinda uttered in shock.

"You don’t know? Another incident happened." After saying that, he started talking about the flight accident.

Jeremy was not surprised. It had been a day; the news must have reached every force. They had encountered a Tier-6 Beast in the end.

Fortunately, the City Governors there came to rescue us.

A few minutes later,

Head Harold finished saying everything. Melinda was dumbfounded. She glanced at Jeremy Night sitting beside her.

She was shocked that Jeremy Night, who was a Tier-2 Beast Tamer, had survived. But a few of the higher-tier beast tamers were killed by the Tier-6 Corrupted Beasts.

Head Harold then said, "Now that you are here, you are part of the 5th Branch. But your strength is still below the basic requirement."

"You have to become a Tier-3 Beast Tamer before joining any other teams here. Until then, you will receive missions from me."

"But I will give you a mission twice a month. You have to use the rest of your time in practice. Once you become a Tier-3 Beast Tamer, I’ll assign you to Melinda’s team," he added.

Jeremy Night understood. He didn’t have great expectations from the beginning.

Since his strength was Tier-2, he didn’t think much about the teams here.

Now that he heard that Head Harold would give him missions, he sighed in relief. What he needed was the reward after completing the mission.

Melinda asked, "Head, are we going to release the news?"

Jeremy recovered his thoughts. The topic turned to a serious situation. Team Leader Gisela gave him a similar report as well before leaving.

Head Harold said, "I will release the news. At the same time, I will tell them that I’m watching over this kid. So no one on our side will target him."

"But the rival forces could send their Tier-2 and Tier-3 Beast Tamers to cause trouble if he goes outside," he added.

Hearing that, Jeremy’s eyes flickered. He was not expecting to hear about the rival forces so soon.
