7th Zone, City F
Shortly afterwards,
Many flying vehicles came to the open landmass under the instructions of the City Governors.
Everyone started boarding the flying vehicles. When it was Jeremy Night’s turn, he came to the last flying vehicle and entered. Then, he sat in the window seat.
The driver was a middle aged man. He was a Tier-5 Beast Tamer. Upon seeing the young Tier-2 Beast Tamer, he was shocked.
He knew the young man was one of the passengers as well. So, he immediately thought the young man was from some big force.
He carried a pleasant smile on his face. Then, a middle aged woman entered the vehicle. She was a Tier-5 Beast Tamer as well. Only the two of them remained.
She nodded to Jeremy Night before minding her own business. Jeremy Night did the same. But he noticed the woman was in deep thought, so he was not offended.
A few minutes later,
The flying car departed from the place. The driver was following the other cars in front of him. As the car was moving in mid air, he got the chance to view the forest through the window.
Wherever his gaze passed over, he could only see the thick forest cover. Just as he was about to withdraw his gaze, he spotted massive beasts.
But they were located far away. The range was beyond his eyesight. What’s more, he could only judge by seeing their movements.
Something taller than a giant shade tree was moving behind it. It must have been a higher-tier corrupted beast. He then withdrew his gaze and didn’t ask the driver about it.
Right now, he wanted to reach a safe place. He believed there must be a flight to the 5th Zone.
Time went by.
The two City Governors and Beast Tamers of City F were the last ones to follow. One of the City Governors purposely released his coercion to kill the Tier-6 Dark Green Scorpion.
It was done not only to kill the corrupted beasts but also to alert the other higher tier beasts living in the wilderness.
The higher tier beasts must have already felt the Tier-8 Coercion. The corrupted beasts below Tier-8 wouldn’t dare to approach the place.
Because of this, they were able to leave the place without any problem.
About 30 minutes later,
The flying cars reached City F. Everyone could see the view of the city from the window.
On the other hand, Jeremy Night and the middle aged woman saw the city as well. There were towering buildings and many modern structures with beautiful colors.
The infrastructure was vast and beautiful. The city was bigger than their City A.
Jeremy Night raised his eyebrows. His eyes scanned the city. He thought of something. Then he glanced at the middle aged woman sitting beside him.
The middle-aged woman’s facial expression was normal. As if she was not surprised by the view of the city.
"She could be from the 5th zone," Jeremy thought.
A few minutes later,
The flying vehicles flew over the city gate and went to the middle of the city. The airport of City F was located here.
When the flying vehicles reached the airport, they came to a halt in the parking area. The flying cars landed on the ground one by one.
Jeremy Night’s car touched down on the ground. He understood that they were brought here to the airport. They were not going to stay here.
They might board the next flight. Then, they stepped out of the car. Jeremy Night’s gaze fell on the other cars.
The other Beast Tamers were stepping out one by one as well. His gaze wandered around before seeing Captain Colt Hardin.
Captain Colt was thanking the City Governors.
He didn’t know what they were going to do next.
On the other hand, Captain Colt heard that the City Governors were going to make arrangements for them to leave on a special flight.
"You can only go to the 5th Zone from our City A. There is no direct flight from here," one of the City Governors said.
Captain Colt Hardin knew the route as well, so he was not surprised. But he thanked them once again for the special flight.
A few minutes later,
The City Governors and the local Beast Tamers left the place. The airport officials would take care of further matters.
Captain Colt Hardin instructed the air crew members to bring everyone in front of him. Those who had first entered the city with their flying type lifeline beasts were here as well.
Jeremy Night and the middle aged woman joined the group.
"Listen up, everyone. The City Governors have arranged a special flight for us. We are going to City A next."
"From there, we will take a direct flight to the 5th Zone. There is only the 6th Zone between the destinations. So get ready," Captain Colt Hardin said.
Hearing that, everyone heaved a sigh of relief. Most of them were tense earlier because they had suffered casualties. It was a big deal. It was not easy to recover from it.
But they heard the good news now. They could be at ease after reaching their destination.
Seeing the calm and composed reaction of everyone, Captain Colt Hardin sighed.
He was worried that there would be a strong reaction from them. They were responsible for their safety, yet the casualties had occurred.
Obviously, he and the crew members would face an investigation later. But he had to reach the destination for now.
30 minutes later,
The survivors boarded the special flight with the same crew members, two pilots, and Captain Colt Hardin.
Captain Colt Hardin checked the number of people in person. He didn’t want to leave anyone behind.
Captain Colt Hardin was surprised to see the young Tier-2 Beast Tamer. He had thought the young Beast Tamer would be traumatized by the incident.
But the youngster was calmer and more collected than the other passengers. He knew the young Beast Tamer was not ordinary. Everyone had witnessed his power earlier.
He then gave the green signal to the crew members and the pilots. The flight could depart from the place now.
