STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 197: Part 1: Javier’s target
Central University 14:
Dean Carolyn is watching the developments as well. She knew that City Governors had taken action. It would be a matter of time before they confront the mastermind behind the incident.
She became aware that Goldcorp's construction site was a suspicious place. The underground passage's end was connected to that location.
Unfortunately, Derek Gibson didn't investigate the place. He simply recorded some footage as evidence. Now she doesn't know whether Goldcorp was behind this or someone else.
Anyways, for her, the problem was brought to their attention. It's up to the three Governors to decide. Goldcorp was not an ordinary organization.
There were multiple complaints filed against them, many related to fraud cases. Yet, the company managed to solve those problems so far.

Join Training Facility:
In the late evening, Jeremy exited the training room to leave. When he reached the exit door, he noticed that apart from him, there weren't many people inside the facility.
The crowded area now had less than 10 people. Jeremy's eyes flickered. He found it interesting, but he didn't think much further.
After leaving the facility, he started walking back to the dorm room. The underground collapse came to his mind. After returning to his room, he looked forward to that information as well.
Soon, he reached his dorm room. After entering, he locked the door and went to take a bath. He spent 20 minutes in the bath before coming out.

He then changed into comfortable clothes. Only then did he feel at ease. Jeremy then lay down on his bed. He took out his digital device and started looking up online news.
Then he found the news he wanted to know. The articles were all about the sudden disaster. Jeremy clicked on the latest article and began to read it.
A few minutes later,
His expression was filled with disbelief and seriousness. During his investigation, he saw the warehouse filled with caged beasts. Elder Derek seemed to have found out something as well.
But there was nothing reported online. Jeremy started to feel suspicious, so he began to click on the next article.
As time passed, he read all the articles published that day. Not only that, he also watched live rescue footage. The underground collapse of the passage came to a stop after a few minutes.
But no one knew the truth. Jeremy refused to believe that human involvement was not reported.
About 2 hours later,
"Damn it," Jeremy uttered. He was disappointed with the system here. Clearly, he saw that warehouse. From the news, he was able to learn that the passage end was connected to Goldcorp's construction site.
He had heard the company name for the first time. In that Red Rock Human Settlement, Goldcorp's people involved in the kidnapping of the Beast Tamers lived in that settlement.
Later, he dropped the matter. Dean Carolyn and Head Derek didn't want to offend powerful people. After rescuing them, he slowly forgot about it.
But he never expected to hear the same company name again. He typed the company name into the search bar. Then he saw the search results.
That company was not an ordinary organization. They conducted many businesses, not only in Zone 14 but also extending to their next-level zones such as 15 and 16.
Jeremy knew these zones had hierarchy cities as well. But he didn't expect this company's business to extend that far. There were many shareholders in this company.
So it's not easy to find out who is responsible. He suspected the whole organization was involved in this incident. It was not easy to do under the constant watch of the Human Alliance.
Jeremy's eyes flickered. He felt helpless and developed a headache. Apart from the threats from corrupted beasts, people had to deal with these types of incidents as well.
He wondered whether their Zone 14 had this problem or if other Zones had these shady organizations as well. He then slowly fell asleep while thinking.

Meanwhile,
Inside a luxurious mansion located in the middle of City A, a middle-aged man was drinking at his home bar. He was none other than Rick, a shareholder of Goldcorp.
His assistant Javier was standing beside him. Rick was hearing reports from him while drinking.
"Three first-year students from Central University 14 investigated the site reported as a rat beast lair."
"One of the students found the passage and went to explore. But he was chased down by a Tier-4 Corrupted Beast."
"The kid was fortunate enough to escape and come outside. But the Tier-4 Rat Beast emerged to attack them. Later, the Tier-4 Corrupted Beast was killed by their elder."
"The appearance of the Tier-4 Rat Beast in the city was impossible to hide. So the City Administration dispatched a team to investigate."
"Later, because of Master's foresight, the base was destroyed before they could see it themselves," Javier said in a calm tone.
Rick took a sip of his drink. His eyes flashed with a glint.
"A Tier-4 Beast, huh?"
"It must be one of the caged beasts that reached Tier-3 before the catalyst injection. No wonder the City Administration was alarmed."
"But still, it was because of a few brats. I was forced to destroy one of my bases. More importantly, the collapse of the passage has exposed Goldcorp's construction site as well."
"The three old Governors will try to investigate, so we should halt our actions for the time being," Rick replied.
"Yes, Master," Javier said.
"But the losses were great. It's hard to recover quickly," Rick said to himself.
Hearing that, Javier was worried. He didn't expect Master Rick to face such difficulties. Their plan was going well; it was just those kids who destroyed his plans.
A murderous intent developed in his heart. He immediately thought of the brat who caused the Tier-4 Corrupted Beast to chase him out.
If not for that brat, things wouldn't have reached this far. While collecting information, he found out that those three kids' identities were not ordinary. But that doesn't mean he was scared.
He would teach a lesson to the kid who went to the underground passage to investigate.
