Chapter 26 - Arrival At The Destination
"Hmm. The train should explode anytime now." A man standing atop a building some blocks away from the train station said, turning his eyes to the wall surrounding the city.
Of course, once the train explodes and derails, it would crash into those walls. That'd act as a crushing blow to Order City, while also dealing with the fool with the Arctic Core.
"What? Impossible!" The man swung his hands to the side, glaring into the train that was approaching from a distance. His sharp, blue eyes searched frantically for an answer.
"What's wrong?" A female voice asked from besides him. She was a beautiful brunette wearing a grey tracksuit, her black pupils circled in a red ring, "Uh, who the hell is that?"

Silas, standing atop the train in a distance, waved his hands. Seeing that, the both of them were taken aback, and they turned to stare into each others' eyes before they spoke.
"He noticed us. That means he is the one who stopped the bomb," The man on the left said to the woman standing by his side, "Mary, this means that Henry lost to those idiots."
"That's impossible. There's no way he could have lost." She shouted, watching as their train slowed down to arrive at the train station, and feeling her heart racing in her chest.
It was as if her heart wanted to escape her body. Beads of sweat rolled down her face seeing the man vanish from the top of the train, "Matthew, was that some teleport skill?"
"No, don't worry. I saw him jump into a hole at the top of the train." The man beside her answered, then he turned to glare at the countless buildings behind them, "Let's go."
——
'Once the train stops, there will be a lot of issues. Thankfully, we won't get into much trouble since we have witnesses.' Silas sighed, staring at the people huddled around them.
He held Ice in his arms, while Selena and Luke stood by his side. Matilda had sneaked away after he told them about the disintegrated bomb, but he knew she was coming back.
"You don't have to do this." Ice said that, but she didn't raise any objections when he offered to do it. He searched the crowd with her gaze, watching as the doors were lifted.
Everyone rushed out, and they joined the crowd. Seeing the people in such a terrified state, security agents stationed around the train — dressed in grey and black — rushed in.
"They will suspect it's superhuman activity. We will be detained here while they have the bodies and security systems checked." Ice said, wrapping her arms around Silas' hand.
Sure enough, once the situation of the train was noticed, the station was locked down and everyone that'd been on the train were ushered into a nearby building for questioning.
There were complains, but no one raised a voice loud enough to cause a commotion. It was already a tight situation, and everyone was on wits end. Ice sighed, relaxing her body.
Even as she stayed close to Silas, she had difficulty dropping her guard. She walked in silence as everyone were seated in the buildings, while some men came to asked questions.
"They really think ahead, huh?" Silas praised, staring at the spacious white hall where they were seated. Security cameras and probably bugs were placed strategically in the hall.
"You'd be surprised by how many accidents happened here in the past." Ice scoffed then folded her arms across her chest, then she sighed, "Many lives were lost to build this order."
"I see," Silas stared at her. He'd noticed that her hide the orb in her clothes, and she was probably checking to see if it was still there, 'She must have felt uneasy from how we stood.'
He had done that because he thought it fun, not to steal the orb. Silas wanted to roll his eyes. If he wanted to steal the orb, he would have done that long ago while she was weaker.
"Boss, what if they attack this place too? We've been here for a while." Luke leaned over from his seat behind Silas to whisper into his ears. Hearing his words, Silas' eyes narrowed.
Luke could be right.
Silas shifted his glance from left to right, assessing the situation, 'There are few guards stationed around the crowd, but each of them were armed, with no openings for an attack.'
He could relax, banking off that, but then again. Silas narrowed his eyes, drawing a cold deep breath, then he leaned back in his chair, "Let's relax for a second. They wouldn't dare."
"Wasn't that what you said about the train, too?" Ice muttered under her breath, trying her best to look 'loosened-up', but her heart was racing. Anyone could strike from any point.
"How much does a house cost in Order City?" Silas cleared his throat, ignoring her cold words and shifting the topic, "We will need a place where we can stay until you recovered."
"I know this city like the back of my hand. Renting a house would be a breeze," Ice said in a proud tone, lifting her chin. Ice blinked, staring off into space, "I wish they don't visit."
The black haired man with ink black eyes stepped out to address the crowd and cleared his throat, "We apologise for any inconvenience we have caused you all. This is a Code Red,"
"Super human activity was detected on the Aerostar, along with bodies of our staff and damages to the train." He wrinkled his face, "So, we are carrying out an investigation first."
Silas sucked his teeth, 'Are they talking about the conductor? Or are there any more the idiot killed? There are a lot of damage to the train, I am getting in so much trouble for this.'
Silas sighed after some time, shaking his head and shifting hies glance to the side where Ice was staring with squinted eyes. He was never admitting to having a hand in any of that!
