Chapter 228: Chapter 228: No Picky Eating

She still remembered Chu Yihan telling her to take a bath!

But she let him go first, and then, then she couldn’t remember anything.

Su Ge subconsciously looked down at herself.

Her eyes suddenly widened.

Why had her clothes been changed?

After Chu Yihan finished his bath, did she go to take one?

Why couldn’t she remember anything at all?

Right, where was Chu Yihan?

So early, he couldn’t have left again, could he?

Su Ge quickly got out of bed, put on her slippers, and ran out.

Searching around the living room, Su Ge’s gaze suddenly stopped on the kitchen.

In the kitchen, a man in a black suit with a tall and straight figure was standing in front of the stove, waving the spatula in his hand.

The faint smell of fried eggs drifted out from the kitchen; Su Ge’s face lit up with joy, and she hurried in.

"What time are you going to the hospital? I saw your alarm was set for seven o’clock, you should make it if you leave at half-past seven, right?"

Chu Yihan glanced at the little woman who rushed in and asked indifferently.

Who knew the little woman wouldn’t say a word, she just ran behind him and hugged him, "Yihan, you’re back."

Chu Yihan’s hand holding the spatula stiffened.

Last night, upon receiving this woman’s message, he immediately booked the earliest flight back.

But he hadn’t finished dealing with things in Country E and had to fly back right after.

"Go get washed up and ready for breakfast."

Chu Yihan served the fried eggs out of the pan and put a couple of slices of bacon in to fry.

"Mmm, fry more bacon; I don’t like eggs," Su Ge let go and whispered a reminder.

"No picky eating." The man replied sternly, yet immediately added a few more slices of bacon to the pan.

Su Ge giggled and hurried out to wash up.

After she washed up, the man had finished making breakfast, and it was a well-balanced meal combining meat and vegetables.

And it tasted great.

Su Ge ate a piece of bacon wrapped in vegetables, relishing it, and said, "Yihan, I see you cook pretty well, why don’t you ever wash..."

She stopped in mid-sentence, subconsciously pausing.

Never mind, nobody’s perfect, best not to criticize him.

"Hmph." Chu Yihan certainly knew what she was about to say and hummed softly.

Who said he couldn’t wash dishes?

He would wash all the dishes in the cupboard next.

"Eat the eggs; no picky eating," seeing nearly all the food on the woman’s plate eaten except for a whole fried egg, Chu Yihan coldly reminded her from the side.

Su Ge gave him a pitiful look, but the man didn’t care about her gaze and just drank his milk.

Su Ge pouted and silently ate the egg.

This was simply revenge, blatant revenge.

Had she known, she would not have mentioned his dishwashing.

"Have you encountered any problems at the hospital recently?"

Chu Yihan finished a glass of milk and casually asked as he set down the cup.

Su Ge just finished the last of the eggs on her plate; she put down her utensils and silently moved closer to Chu Yihan, reaching out with her little hand to embrace him sadly around the waist.

"What’s the matter?"

Chu Yihan looked at her like this, his eyebrows slightly furrowed.

"Yesterday at the hospital, one of the patients we were responsible for passed away." As soon as Su Ge spoke, her eyes reddened again, "I thought we could definitely save them."

"If you had that superpower, there wouldn’t be birth, aging, sickness, and death in this world." His words might sound cold, but his hand reached out to comfortingly stroke the little woman’s head.

Su Ge was indeed frustrated and let go of her hands, "Those who study medicine should have the superpower to save lives and heal the wounded."

Superpower...

After saying this, Su Ge hung her head low.

Superpowers are not so easily had, after all.
