Stellar Train: I Open a Small Shop on the Train-Chapter 174
Chapter 174 - 174
Himeko gave the coordinates of the Antimatter Legion to Kiana and let her navigate over.
With just the distance of two star systems, it didn't take long for Kiana, with her strength, to fly over.
Kiana summoned her Athena Valkyrie armor and flew off following the navigation on her phone.
Himeko pulled out a computer, tapped a few commands, and a projection appeared in front of everyone.
The projection showed Kiana's current situation.
Far away, two star systems from Amphoreus.
Phantylia was leading the Antimatter Legion in an invasion of a civilization that had yet to leave its home planet.
Phantylia lounged on a sofa, watching the panicked masses flee for their lives through the ship's porthole.
"Despair, rage, the yearning for mercy... such delightful emotions~"
Reclining comfortably, she propped her chin on one hand.
Suddenly, a loud crash rang out, and the Antimatter soldier piloting the warship panicked.
Phantylia, immersed in her enjoyment, was interrupted and furrowed her brows.
"What's going on? Why the panic?"
An Antimatter soldier ran over to report.
"Lady Phantylia! We're under attack! One of our warships was blown up!"
Phantylia jumped to her feet.
"What happened?"
The soldier pointed out the window.
"It's her, Lady Phantylia!"
Phantylia looked in the direction he was pointing and saw Kiana, wearing the Athena Valkyrie armor and holding a ramen-themed golden staff.
Upon seeing the hellish city below, Kiana was instantly filled with rage.
"Damn you all! I, Kiana, will blast you to pieces!"
Kiana spun her ramen staff and swept it out.
The ramen staff extended rapidly and, in one sweeping strike, blew up three warships.
The other ships quickly turned their cannons on Kiana.
Shells filled the sky and shot toward Kiana—she reached out and pinched her fingers.
"Chinese Giant Pancake!"
With a loud shout, a spinning, ever-growing pancake appeared in her hands.
Kiana pinched it, and the pancake wrapped around her, absorbing the shells as they hit it. The dough trapped them, gradually draining their momentum.
Once all the shells were embedded in the pancake, Kiana burst out, raising it high.
"Mega Rice Dumpling!"
The pancake bundled up and transformed into a giant dumpling the size of a mountain.
Kiana hoisted the dumpling overhead and hurled it at Phantylia's flagship.
"Your turn is over, right? Now it's mine! Take this dumpling!"
Seeing the rapidly approaching giant dumpling, Phantylia teleported away.
Just as she stabilized in mid-air, the flagship behind her exploded into fiery fragments.
Phantylia's pupils contracted. Had she been a moment slower, her physical body would've been destroyed.
Suddenly, a dark shadow appeared in front of her.
It was Kiana—she had been tracking Phantylia's escape.
Kiana struck down with her ramen staff, and Phantylia barely dodged in time.
Thankfully, her current physical body was durable enough to withstand the attack.
Kiana missed and charged again, staff in hand.
Phantylia turned and fled—she had already realized she stood no chance against this girl.
Seeing Phantylia run, Kiana gave chase.
The two darted through space—Phantylia ordered wave after wave of warships to block Kiana's path.
"Stop her!" Phantylia yelled as Kiana closed in. The Antimatter Legion rushed to intercept.
Dozens of Windrunners charged at Kiana, but she swung her ramen staff and destroyed them all.
Clearing the blockade, she continued the chase.
Kiana pursued relentlessly while the Legion tried to slow her down.
One warship after another exploded. Legion soldiers fell in droves.
Even the Doomsday Beast was shattered by a single blow from Kiana.
Unfortunately, Phantylia still managed to escape.
After blowing up another warship, Kiana watched Phantylia flee and clenched her fists in frustration.
"Damn it! You got away! Just wait till next time!"
Phantylia fled rapidly. Her body was near collapse, leaking light from cracks.
She looked back and saw Kiana wreaking havoc on her fleet, her teeth grinding in fury.
"Damn it! If only my most powerful body were here—I'd make her pay!"
As she ranted and prepared to escape again, a chill ran down her spine—a cold voice came from behind.
"Going somewhere, Phantylia?"
Phantylia turned around.
There stood three generals, each having summoned their divine forms.
Jing Yuan, Feixiao, and Huaiyan.
To her sides were Blade and Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, both glaring coldly.
Above her, Jingliu—now with her blindfold removed—looked down silently.
Earlier, Jing Yuan and the others had seen Phantylia's plight through the surveillance drones released by Himeko.
They exchanged glances and swiftly moved to intercept, cutting off Phantylia's escape route.
Phantylia froze.
"Wait, really? You Arbiter-Generals hold grudges this much? All this for little ol' me and a single Destruction Order?"
Realizing she had no way out, Phantylia gave up fleeing—there was no escape with those people around.
Their response: a full-force combined strike from Jing Yuan, Huaiyan, Feixiao, Dan Heng, Blade, and Jingliu.
Watching the attacks close in, Phantylia smiled bitterly.
"You Arbiter-Generals are all so petty~"
Before she could finish, her body was engulfed by the attacks and vanished.
—At Ye Yun's shop—
Xiangling watched the rainbow-colored techniques Kiana used, stars twinkling in her eyes.
"Whoa~ That fighting style is way too cool!"
To Xiangling, using food ingredients as combat techniques was absolutely perfect.
She was a little disappointed the Rainbow Stone hadn't ended up in her hands.
Sigh~ If it had, she was sure she could've come up with even more tricks.
Hutao noticed Xiangling feeling a bit down. Glancing at Kiana in the footage, she understood.
Hutao quietly headed to the bar to buy Xiangling a regular version of the Rainbow Stone. She remembered Xiangling's birthday was the day after tomorrow—it would make the perfect gift.
The normal version of the Rainbow Stone wasn't expensive—just 100,000 star coins.
Having spent plenty of time aboard the train, Hutao could afford that.
She bought the Rainbow Stone and tucked it away, planning to give it to Xiangling on her birthday.
Meanwhile, everyone continued watching Kiana's spectacular battle against the Antimatter Legion fleet.
Not long after, Jing Yuan, Feixiao, and the others returned to the train. No one even bothered to ask about Phantylia's fate.
***
Half an hour later, Kiana had completely wiped out the entire Antimatter Legio fleet. Except for Phantylia, not a single one escaped.
If it weren't for the fact that there were still native inhabitants on the planet below, Kiana would have unleashed her full power long ago — it wouldn't have taken this long at all.
It's like counter-terrorism: if you're sure there are no civilians in the target area, you can go full-on with the bombardment.
You want to play a siege game with me? Dream on. I'll just go in with brute force and raze the ground.
On the ground, the surviving native inhabitants of the planet looked up at the sky toward Kiana standing midair, their eyes full of gratitude.
Kiana stood firm in the sky, her expression resolute, a pair of pure white wings slowly flapping behind her.
The setting sun cast its glow on her face, giving her an almost divine aura.
An old high priest glanced back at the broken statue behind him, then made a bold decision.
He knelt to the ground, crossing his hands over his chest, gazing devoutly at Kiana in the sky.
"Goddess of salvation, please accept this old man's devout faith!"
None of the surviving worshippers around him criticized the old high priest for abandoning his faith.
In their eyes, it was better to believe in a living, real savior than some illusory, intangible deity.
The followers imitated the old high priest, kneeling down and offering their devout faith to the goddess above the sky — Kiana.
Unaware of all this, Kiana was just getting ready to return.
Little did she know, for generations to come, the people of this planet would revere her as their deity.
Back on the train, Kiana excitedly bragged to Stelle and Firefly about her recent battle.
She described it with vivid detail, full of flair and exaggeration. If Stelle and the others hadn't watched the whole thing live, they might have believed her.
After playing around for a while, Kiana, Stelle, and Firefly were called to rest by Himeko.
It was getting late, and they had a competition the next day.
The girls moved their "battlefield" back to the treehouse.
Kiana didn't return to her own place that night — she planned to stay with Stelle.
The next morning arrived.
Kiana looked at the sleeping Stelle next to her and sprang up with a cheerful sound.
She shook Stelle awake.
"Stelle! Get up! The lottery results come out today!"
Stelle, forced out of bed, went to wash up. She had wanted to stay under the covers a little longer.
Kiana and Stelle arrived at the shop to find Ye Yun, Xiangling, and Little Evil God already preparing breakfast.
Himeko, Welt, Jing Yuan, Huaiyan, and others were reading newspapers while eating.
Today's breakfast was very light — white porridge with steamed buns and meat buns.
Seeing Kiana and Stelle arrive, Himeko put down her newspaper and meat bun.
"Kiana, Stelle, have you washed up? If so, come eat."
Kiana pulled Stelle over and sat next to Himeko.
"We've washed up, Himeko—uh, I mean, Himeko sis!"
Himeko smiled.
"Alright, go ahead and eat. The lottery results will be announced soon."
Kiana and Stelle each grabbed a small bowl and served themselves some white porridge, then each took two meat buns and began to eat.
As everyone ate, more and more people arrived at the shop.
There were only thirty minutes left until the lottery announcement — and this time, the prize was something everyone wanted:
Revival Cards!
And not just one — a full set of six!
Makoto came to the shop with Ei and Yae Miko. They still had many friends who hadn't been revived.
Like Fox Shrine Maiden and Sasayuri.
Yae Miko walked over to Lumine, who had just arrived with Paimon and was getting a bowl for breakfast.
"Oh my~ isn't this Lumine? Why haven't you visited Inazuma lately?"
Lumine rolled her eyes and imitated Miko's tone.
"Well well well~ isn't it Lady Guuji herself? What brings you to the shop today? Not out catching criminals?"
Makoto chuckled at the exchange.
"Lumine, don't worry. I've revoked your wanted notice. You're welcome to visit Inazuma anytime. If I'm free, I'll show you around."
Lumine looked over at Makoto.
"You're so kind, Makoto. Unlike someone who had me wanted just for doing a little business. Isn't that right, Miko?"
Yae Miko giggled behind her hand.
"That's right — and I must say, you've improved a lot, Lumine."
Lumine wiped her nose.
"'Improved a lot'? Please, I've always been awesome!"
Soon, Zhongli, Azhdaha, and Guizhong arrived at the shop as well.
Guizhong immediately ran over to find Clara.
Clara was eating breakfast and got startled by Guizhong's sudden approach.
"S-Sister Guizhong? What are you doing?"
Guizhong happily pulled out a textbook with the title:
Elementary Physics Textbook (Company Edition)
"Clara, I finished this one. Do you have the middle school version? I want to study it!"
Clara was relieved it wasn't anything serious.
"Sure, I'll bring it to you in a bit, Sister Guizhong~"
Guizhong was delighted. A few days ago, she saw Clara assembling a robot and was amazed that such a young girl knew how.
She asked Clara how she learned, and Clara showed her the textbook.
Guizhong got instantly hooked and borrowed the elementary physics textbook.
Surprisingly, studying systematically made a big difference — even an elementary book had taught her a lot about physics.
Now that she'd finished it, she was ready for the next one.
Soon, it was time for the lottery draw. Everyone gathered around, all eyes on Ye Yun.
Ye Yun took a spherical device from under the counter, opened it, and pulled out a slip of paper.
He looked at the number.
"Oho~ this round's number is interesting."
"Who's got number 66?"
As soon as he finished speaking, everyone looked at their tickets.
Suddenly, Little Evil God burst into laughter.
"WAHAHAHAHA!! I WON!! WAHAHAHA! Of course! I'm the unbeatable, furious little demon!"
Everyone looked at her with envy.
She rushed up to Ye Yun, handing over her ticket.
Ye Yun checked it, a bit surprised that this time Little Evil God hadn't tried anything fishy — it really was hers.
He handed her the prize: six Revival Cards.
Little Evil God happily accepted them and scanned the crowd before clearing her throat.
"Ahem ahem~ Hey hey hey! Welcome to the Jammy-Filled Demon Auction!
We've got six Revival Cards here — starting bid: 1 million star coins!"
She started the auction right then and there — after all, she had no use for these cards.
Her friends and family didn't need them.
The only one who might was Yurine, but she was still young — no need to worry about that for now.
