"Pure Yang!" is a genre I’ve never attempted before, in the book, a large amount of Daoist cultivation systems, knowledge, and methods are integrated... some of these methods even truly exist, like the concept of Consciousness and Primordial Spirit, referencing Ancestor Lv’s [Taiyi Jinhua Principle]...
From the author’s perspective, its story, pace, setting, and so on, really don’t align with the mainstream web literature writing style of today, even the editor said it’s a "counter-trend" way of writing...
When publishing initially, I also chatted with the editor, this book will either achieve great success or fail miserably, there really isn’t a third path to take, it was originally an experiment, so I had a great mindset, hence I was pretty capricious while writing. Fortunately, quite a few people liked it, though of course many criticized it too, this book likely marks the most polarized and controversial work I have written to date...
I still can’t understand, why is this?
Back to the main topic, fellow Daoists who have read up to the latest Chapters should have noticed, there are mainly two plotlines currently, one is Zhang Fan’s growth in lineage and cultivation, the other is the hidden plotline concerning the great tribulation of the Daoist Sect, revolving around these two lines to unveil the hidden martial arts world within the modern city...
