Starting as a Class Five Mutant-Chapter 610
Chapter 610 - 610 ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
Or rather—it wasn't that the pull wasn't there. It was that the pulling force was now too weak to draw in his consciousness.
Syd frowned.
He immediately understood why.
His strength had grown too much—making the black stone artifact ineffective.
The thought filled him with frustration.
This black stone artifact had always been extremely useful. If it could no longer function...
But the next moment, an idea sparked in his mind.
He extended his will—and invoked his Creation power.
A mysterious energy surged forth and wrapped around the black stone, rapidly enhancing it.
A terrifying wave of energy spread outward, while eerie black light began to flicker from the stone.
After several seconds, the process ended.
Syd examined the now-altered black stone artifact. Then, he channeled his divine power into it again.
The familiar tug returned.
"It worked."
Without resisting, he let himself be pulled in.
In a flash of light, the world spun—and Syd found himself within a new, unfamiliar scene.
What he saw immediately triggered a sense of unease.
Outside a pitch-black universe, a figure emerged—an unfathomable being, shrouded in thick black mist.
It was massive, with most of its form hidden. But even the small portion exposed dwarfed the universe nearby—making it look like a mere marble.
A single tentacle of this entity coiled around the "marble"—a broken and collapsing universe.
Syd recognized them instantly:
Eternity, Infinity, Death, Oblivion, and Galactus.
They were there—but they were being destroyed. The universe itself was collapsing.
"Insolent insect... this is the end that awaits you."
"To become my puppet is your only fate."
A twisted, mocking voice echoed in all directions.
One of the monstrous tentacles pierced a glowing cosmic figure in the chest. The light surrounding that being began to dim, as though it were the twilight of the gods.
Even an abstract conceptual body was succumbing to terrifying mutation.
Syd felt it—that was himself, in that future. And his consciousness was being erased.
Before he could process more—
The vision froze.
And in a blink—he returned to reality.
"That's it?"
Syd muttered.
It had ended so quickly. The entire death scene lasted only a few seconds—far shorter than any prediction he'd seen before.
"Was it because that being was too powerful, and the artifact couldn't handle it?"
That was the only explanation he could think of.
Even with the artifact enhanced by Creation power, it had only been able to glimpse a few seconds?
Or... perhaps the problem wasn't the artifact—but his own level of power.
He hadn't unlocked enough of God's power to fully use Creation.
After all, Creation was a divine ability granted by God. He had only mimicked 11% of God's total capability.
Without unlocking more, he couldn't bring out the full potential of the artifact.
That realization left his mood heavy.
And yet—there was no mistaking it:
The entity from the black mist and tentacles... was an Outer God. The original.
"So that's the true body of the Old One...?"
"What level is that thing—Multiversal?"
Its body was massive beyond measure. It hadn't even been scratched—yet it casually annihilated the universe, even turned conceptual gods like Eternity and Infinity into puppets.
A wave of dread filled him.
"To think... the first enemy to arrive is the true body of an Outer God. And its power..."
"What am I supposed to do against that?"
He had no answer.
Against an existence at that level, no amount of struggle would matter.
It seemed like he was doomed to die—to be turned into a puppet.
Then—his eyes shifted.
"Wait..."
His gaze landed on the God Mimic progress bar.
That was the only way forward.
Only by unlocking more of God's power could he hope to overcome this looming catastrophe.
It was his only hope.
He remembered: the black stone artifact could only predict death based on his current strength.
It couldn't foresee what would happen after more of God's power was unlocked.
So as long as he increased his God Mimic progress—the future could still change.
That thought gave him a small sense of relief.
"There's still a chance."
He shook his head, no longer thinking about it.
With a wave of his hand, he activated Space Shift and Portal Magic.
A swirling yellow gate opened before him—its other side revealed a familiar scene: the black void of outer space, just beyond Earth.
Syd's figure glided forward and stepped through.
The next moment, he returned to the 616 main universe, floating above Earth.
Immediately, his attention was drawn to a nearby gathering.
Six indescribable figures stood in space, radiating abstract divinity.
They were:
Eternity, Infinity, Death, Oblivion, Galactus... and his own abstract conceptual form.
As Syd arrived, the cosmic entities turned their attention to him—eyes flashing with surprise.
A moment later, they turned their gaze back toward his radiant form hovering nearby.
Infinity tilted her head.
"That's your material body?"
She looked curious, then added:
"Wait... I'm sensing the rules of another universe on you..."
The others—Eternity, Death, Oblivion—also noticed it.
But before they could fully analyze it, the yellow portal behind Syd closed.
Their attention shifted back to him.
Earlier, they had descended to Earth and requested a meeting with their youngest brother.
But shortly after, Syd's material form entered a portal and vanished, and his abstract body appeared in its place.
He had only said, "wait"—and then vanished.
So they had waited—silently.
And now, finally, his material form had returned.
"He really went to another universe during that time?"
They were all astonished.
Nearby, Syd said nothing at first.
His material body glowed, then merged into his conceptual body, becoming one.
Then, at last, he turned to face the five beings before him.
He looked at their indescribable forms, shimmering in the void.
"This is the first time we've met... in the 616 main universe."
