Chapter 583 - 583

The moment Frank spoke, the people around him all paused.

"God...?"

Countless eyes turned toward the radiant, distant figure cloaked in divine light.

Honestly, this being did resemble God far too much. And with the title of Creator attached to him, it made the thought even harder to dismiss.

Not to mention—they had just witnessed the act of creation. Asgard had been rebuilt before their very eyes!

"Could he really... be God?"

Speculations ran rampant, and the gazes of the crowd grew more reverent by the second.

Among them, some of the faithful couldn't help but mutter devoutly.

"Oh Lord..."

Without realizing it, several believers had emerged from the crowd like blooming flowers of faith.

In that moment, threads of faith energy surged toward Syd from all directions, startling him slightly.

He could clearly sense that this faith wasn't intended for him, but for God. And yet—it was still flowing into him.

After a brief moment of thought, he understood why.

In a sense, to a certain degree... he really was a version of God. An incomplete one.

At the moment, he had unlocked 11% of that potential—still far from complete, but it was enough for him to receive a portion of that directed faith.

Thinking of this, he blinked in realization.

Could he eventually absorb all of the faith meant for God?

There were billions of people in the world who worshipped that name. The sheer amount of faith energy produced every moment was beyond comprehension.

Even for someone like him, it would be a tremendous boon.

Curious, he gave it a try—but soon shook his head.

Beyond this area, he couldn't sense any more faith flowing toward him.

Almost immediately, he figured out the reason.

His current unlock progress was too low—only 11%. That limited the range of faith he could receive.

Once he unlocked more, maybe reached 100%, that might change.

"Although, by then, I probably won't even need faith anymore," Syd murmured with a slight smile.

Pushing those thoughts aside, his attention returned to the newly created Asgard.

It was identical to the old one. Absolutely flawless.

Except... one thing was still missing.

The Asgardians—or rather, the Aesir gods.

Syd's eyes glimmered with thought.

In the distance—

Thor and the others stared at the new Asgard with expressions of bittersweet joy and sorrow.

Black Panther and the others looked on with curiosity and admiration.

By now, everyone—Thor, Valkyrie, the rest of the Asgardians, and the Earth-born guests—assumed the act of creation was finished.

After all, Asgard was complete.

But just as that thought settled in their minds—something even more astonishing began to unfold.

Before their very eyes, the light around the white-robed Creator flared once again. Vast power surged from his being.

In Syd's mind, memories of the old Asgard flashed by—along with the images of its fallen people.

The next moment, particles of dust appeared out of nowhere around him—each gathering, coalescing, until they formed into human shapes.

Almost simultaneously, these dust-formed figures transformed into bodies of flesh and blood.

Clad in plain white robes, they floated in midair with their eyes closed, surrounding Syd like stars around a sun.

Black Panther and the others were stunned.

"Who are they...?"

While they whispered in confusion, Thor, Valkyrie, and the other Asgardians were completely shaken.

"That's Heimdall?"

"And that one—!"

They recognized them all.

Each and every one of them—Asgardians.

"But... didn't they die?"

"What are they doing here...?"

Valkyrie stood speechless, utterly shocked.

Thor, too, was stunned. But then, a thought struck him. His voice trembled as he whispered, "No way..."

His gaze turned to the luminous, divine figure floating in the distance.

Then, under the eyes of all present, Syd—still cloaked in divine light—blew gently toward the newly-formed figures.

Unseen by the others, a blend of chaotic magic and divine creation flowed with that breath—warping reality and infusing it into the bodies.

Meanwhile—

Far away, in a fog-draped land resembling a heavenly realm, was the sanctuary of the dead: Valhalla.

This place, reserved for the honored fallen of Asgard, was warm and radiant, with mountains, rivers, and magnificent halls.

At that moment, within this sacred place, the spirits of the fallen Asgardians—those slain by Thanos and others—suddenly froze.

"What... is happening?"

"I feel... something pulling me—somewhere."

Heimdall, tall and dark-skinned with golden eyes, looked shocked.

Others near him echoed his confusion.

"You too, Heimdall?"

"I feel it too..."

But before they could discuss it further, their expressions suddenly changed.

"What is this power?!"

A red light enveloped them.

The next second, they all vanished—without a trace, as if they had never existed.

Back in Valhalla, Odin, Frigga, and Loki stared in astonishment.

"Where... did they go?" Loki said, gaping.

Frigga looked anxious.

Odin, however, wore a deep, grim expression. He muttered, "Which deity is capable of this?"

Only the highest-tier beings in the cosmos could meddle with the spirits within Valhalla.

And that thought alone filled him with dread—and confusion.

Where had they gone? Why had they been taken?

Even he did not know.

Beside him, Loki frowned. "A deity?"

He wasn't sure what that meant.

Anyone Father called a true deity had to be unimaginably powerful...

Back on the new Asgard—

Under the power of creation and the reality-warping forces, the spirits of Heimdall and the others were drawn from Valhalla and elsewhere, pulled into the newly formed bodies.

As their eyes fluttered open, the first thing they saw was a figure surrounded by radiant light, exuding a pressure as vast as the stars.

"Who... is he?"

"Is he the one who brought us here?"

Heimdall and the others were filled with confusion.

But before they could say more, they heard a wave of shocked voices from afar.

"Oh my God!"

"They're really alive again?!"

"Heavens..."

Black Panther and the others stared at the scene in utter disbelief.
