Star Gate-Chapter 1732: The Entire Crew Ascends (I)
“Northern Fist!”
“What do you need from your big bro?” Northern Fist looked merrily back at Southern Fist. “Got something on your mind, Little He?”
“......” Southern Fist purpled from indignation. ...I’m not an exalted emperor yet, so I have nothing on my mind. I have no opinions!
Li Hao was also surprised by the development and couldn’t hold in his laughter. He’d watched for a while and noted that He Yong’s aura seemed to be the strongest. The man was primed to become the first among boxing dao, but that position was yanked out from beneath him in the blink of an eye.
He was squeezed out of place!
Southern Fist was still depressed. An aloof Tyrant Blade cut through the void with his blade and created a branch in the dao river. It appeared over the river as it wasn’t part of the corporeal dao, but the immaterial dao!
Gan Wuliang was also surprised, but quickly came to terms with it. These Silver Moon exalted emperors had mostly verified their dao in the corporeal dao river, but Tyrant Blade had focused on the immaterial dao and become an exalted emperor of that dao universe.
A spear flared with illumination that lit the world!
The genteel Hou Xiaochen struck with his spear, stabbing a fork in the immaterial dao river. It was like one’s will and broken—this was the heritage of the Exalted Broken Will Emperor.
Another powerhouse had verified his dao!
Hou Xiaochen smiled and looked at Yuan Shuo. His smile deepened upon seeing that Yuan Shuo still had his eyes closed. Old Demon Yuan was constantly slower than everyone else. He’d been one step slower setting foot into Fused Dao and one step slower becoming an exalted emperor.
He wasn’t worthy of being the Old Demon anymore!
By now, the ninth division leader, Sky Sword, Tyrant Blade, Northern Fist, Yao Si, Director General Zhao, and Hou Xiaochen all had verified their daos. That lit a fire of urgency in the rest.
A cow’s moo echoed through the land as a green cow threatened to stomp through the world. Its massive body came down on the river as one of its horns bore a fork in the river!
Capsize Sea roared, blood qi soaring through the world! The third exalted emperor in its line had appeared! Its father Unbounded Strength and its forefather Water Strength were both exalted emperors. Today, it joined their imperial ranks as well.
Capsize Sea was overjoyed! Even the Sword Sovereign couldn’t help but take another glance, his eyes wide open with amazement. “This lineage...”
He didn’t know what to say!
They were an opportunistic family through and through, but happened to make the right decision each time. One had to say, they really did have some skill up their sleeves. The cow had broken through!
The Sword Sovereign was aware that the water cow family wasn’t that strong. Water Strength was only a third rank at present and Unbounded Strength was the Sea Pacification Envoy. It’d surpassed its ancestor to become a fourth rank.
And now, Capsize Sea was also an exalted emperor as well! While it wasn’t particularly skilled in a single discipline, this was a very rare sight indeed!
The Sword Sovereign was familiar with Capsize Sea and the rest of those from New Martial. He studied them, seeing that the ninth division leader, Capsize Sea, and Zhang An were all exalted emperors. Zhang An’s dao was a bit unique as he hadn’t become part of Silver Moon, but was an exalted emperor nonetheless.
Three exalted emperors!
New Martial possessed many powerhouses and was further along the path of cultivation than Silver Moon. Yet, it was Silver Moon with many more newly ascended exalted emperors than New Martial from this experience.
The Sword Sovereign then took a look around the scene, looking at the New Martial powerhouses out of the corner of his eye. He settled on Li Hao, raising a brow when the young man sensed the weight of his look. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
Li Hao nodded with a smile, as did the Sword Sovereign.
On the other side, the struggling Guardian Turtle abruptly sensed a ray of sword light. It goggled with shock as the familiar sword light was truly frightful!
The thought had just entered its mind when its shell cracked open; something melded into it the next second. A massive surge of strength appeared before it had time to react. A great dao rushed for the river!
When a fork in the river appeared, the Sword Sovereign’s voice sounded in the turtle’s ear. “Although it hasn’t been too long for me, I hear that you have stood guard at Battle Heaven for one hundred thousand years! Today, I enable you to shake off your identity as the spirit of a weapon and reforge your soul!
“Black Tortoise, you are free from henceforth. I have killed those who set themselves against New Martial and used their souls to forge weapons. Today, I reward you for your one hundred thousand years of meritorious deeds!”
Memories of yesteryear floated to the fore. The guardian was not a treasure spirit to begin with. During New Martial’s age, many citizens killed monster spirits so they could forge weapons. The Human King himself had killed an untold number over the years.
Guardian Turtle had been a major monster spirit in that time period. The Sword Sovereign had killed it and tempered it into a weapon which ultimately passed into the hands of the Wangs. When New Martial fell silent on Silver Moon, the guardian held down the fort at Battle Heaven for one hundred thousand years.
Today, the Sword Sovereign noted that it was trapped in its forged body and form, unable to break free and verify its dao. Hence, he employed his sword intent to aid its freedom and reforge a new dao.
It was very easy for the Sword Sovereign to help someone verify their dao. Truly easy. Perhaps he found it easier than the two dao masters for no reason other than this dao universe being closely tied to him as well. He had been the previous Silver Moon king, after all.
But he was not the current one, so he’d looked at Li Hao for approval. The Sword Sovereign took action this one time only with Li Hao’s agreement.
The guardian’s success seemed to inspire the other New Martial powerhouses. Director General Wang Ye was one of the first New Martial heavyweights to convert to Silver Moon’s dao. He shouted with effort as the dao river flowed around him, reaching the august ranks of exalted emperors with one step.
Overjoyed, he threw his head back with laughter and looked at the ninth division leader with glee and excitement. He’d succeeded too!
These were the first New Martial members to come in contact with Li Hao—the ninth division leader, Director General Wang, and Guardian Turtle had all broken through.
After a few moments, the Cat Palace appeared over the little tree’s head. Even the Sword Sovereign was startled by the imperial guard. He smiled at seeing the little tree’s trunk expand explosively and span the world. Its life force became extremely dense as it grew a massive amount in the blink of an eye. An imperial presence hovered around it as well.
The redwood tree that’d been Lin Hongyu’s strongest supporter surpassed the veteran Saint of its kind—General Pagoda. The redwood’s presence was extremely disorderly as hints of the chaos appeared within it.
It’d created its own unique dao from the chaos in the river. In the past, it’d given the dao of life to the little tree in order to curry favor with Li Hao. As an alternative, it’d chosen the dao of chaos for itself. But once it truly entered the chaos, it understood that this kind of dao was extremely muddled and disorganized.
It was very hard to verify its dao in this manner! Cultivating the chaos verified its disarray instead!
Guardian Turtle, Director General Wang, the little tree, redwood tree, and other cultivators from New Martial found success one after another. That increased pressure on the Silver Moon cultivators as it meant a dwindling supply of spots in the dao universe.
There were still people furiously attacking the imperial threshold!
Someone’s presence of light and dark shone in the distance, startling Void. “The interplay of light and dark... Now that’s interesting. But the dark attribute is slightly weaker, throwing the interplay off balance. This person has not yet become an exalted emperor of two extremes, but she’s not bad...”
Boom!
The auntie seemed to be losing control. Void looked at Li Hao; the young man nodded. With that, Void waved a surge of dark presence into Auntie Light’s body, helping the two attributes find a temporary balance.
She shouted, summoning both elements and creating a great dao in the river. She turned to look at Void, then Li Hao, and ducked her head shyly at Void.
Li Hao blinked, whereas Void was slightly confused. He looked at his friend. “What does that mean?”
“She likes you!”
“......” Void’s jaw dropped. No way! This little girl...
Indeed, Light Sword was an aged auntie in Li Hao’s eyes, but very young in Void’s eyes. She’s not pretty! I only helped her because I saw that she’s having difficulties cultivating both light and dark.
Why are you looking at me like that?! Go away! My heart yearns for great dao and nothing else!
Li Hao held his laughter in so intensely that he nearly burst from the effort.
“She’ll get prettier once her elements balance,” he transmitted after a long moment. “Cultivators should not care about surface level appearances!”
“......” Void couldn’t be bothered to talk to this loathsome fellow.
Li Hao continued looking around; the number of exalted emperor spots were decreasing as large numbers of cultivators verified their dao. However, two key figures were yet to do so—Yuan Shuo and Liu Long. They were special to Li Hao.
One was his teacher, the other was his chief. And yet, both of them were yet to verify their dao!
It was to be expected with Liu Long. Although he was ninth level Fused Dao, the chief’s Nine Forged Force possessed an abundance of force and insufficient comprehension.
He wouldn’t have stayed behind in Silver City as a team captain if he’d possessed sufficient potential. Liu Long would’ve risen to the ranks of a supernatural long ago. Instead, it took him a long while to even comprehend the aura.
To be frank, Liu Long’s current heights of accomplishment were the result of Li Hao’s significant bias.
The young man looked at Liu Long, but didn’t need to say a word before Panther opened its mouth. The dog expelled a large amount of dao strength without asking the young man beforehand. It surged toward Liu Long, containing even a significant amount of heavenly intent.
The heavenly will supported the man!
Liu Long seemed to receive assistance from the gods as his mind spontaneously cleared. He seemed to understand all obstacles; waves soared for the heavens in a trance. Nine Forged Force erupted and created a branch in the dao river with a roar.
He looked at Panther with a complicated gaze. I broke through... thanks to a dog!
Panther wagged its tail, happy and excited. The Nine Forged Force had been its main cultivation method for a very long time and it’d reached an extremely high level of proficiency with it. Strictly speaking, Liu Long was half a master to it. It grew worried when it saw that everyone else was verifying their dao but Liu Long.
That was why it’d acted out of order and didn’t even have time to request approval from Li Hao.
The dog now looked at Li Hao and whined with a bit of guilt. The young man smiled without a word. He would have taken action if Panther hadn’t. The degree of kinship he felt with a person played a pivotal role in the end.
He wouldn’t have cared if it was anyone else, but it was best if Liu Long could verify his dao.
