Chapter 1434: Hello, Chaos! (IV)

“Are you certain that exalted emperors will be waiting on the other side?” asked Yuan Shuo. “And more than one at that?”

“Absolutely!” Li Hao nodded. “This is a tribulation! It’s my tribulation and Silver Moon’s tribulation. The world has risen too quickly and I wield the power of time. None of this abides by the rules of the chaos!

“Even New Martial progressed through the various ages of Initial Martial and Core Origin in an orderly fashion to reach its current heights. Silver Moon, however, shot to the heavens with one step. It spontaneously evolved from a forgotten backwater into a mid world. This is bound to bring with it heavenly calamities and human disasters!

“Everyone should make use of this opportunity! We will cut down emperors in celebration!” Li Hao laughed. “Pass on my word and notify the people that we must work together that day and endure the hardships together! We stand a chance of surviving the tribulation with the aggregation of the great dao and people’s hearts being one!

“If we fail, Silver Moon will decline into nothing and even disappear!

“This is our only chance. I have reached a short pact with the Human King and Supreme Zhang of New Martial. They’ll be able to help us. In the same vein, we will return the favor to New Martial in the future!”

Those of New Martial didn’t think much of this declaration, whereas those of Silver Moon treated it as gospel. They felt that Li Hao could do what he said!

Finally, the young man looked at one person in particular. “Ninth Division leader, lend me your sword intent in a critical moment!”

Li Daozong blinked and nodded. Was there any use to the sword intent? He’d received his brother’s sword intent, but discovered that despite its strength, it was only at a half step emperor level. It wasn’t very useful to Li Hao, was it?

The young man looked up at the sky and didn’t say anything. Li Daoheng’s sword intent wasn’t all that strong, but it could be assimilated into others. He could spontaneously integrate it into the Eternal Sword intent and deploy the blow of the Sword Sovereign!

He could truly utilize that move—Li Daoheng could have as well. He just hadn’t been willing to and wanted to pursue other goals instead.

With the situation as it was, Li Hao didn’t care about these things. This was a critical step in them walking out of Silver Moon and advancing toward the chaos universe. If they failed their attempt, sure death was in the cards!

There would also be no more opportunities if they didn’t fully seize this one.

As for whether or not the Human King and Supreme Zhang could create some openings for him in that split second, that Li Hao wasn’t sure of. He hadn’t had a chance to communicate with them after coming back home and their flow of time was different. No one was certain when either side would make a move.

In the same vein, they weren’t clear what Li Hao was encountering in his world. Even though they knew now that he came from Silver Moon, that was all they knew. They weren’t aware of Silver Moon’s current situation.

This would be a test of their coordination! One of the three sides had to make a move first. As for who it was... that was up to destiny!

However, Li Hao still had a certain degree of confidence when it came to the upcoming operation. New Martial had crafted the Star Gate, so the civilization might sense something once it opened. That would be the turning point, so it wasn’t completely up to chance!

But the key was, would the supreme and the rest understand that the Star Gate opening was the call to arms? Were they ready to cause an even greater ruckus to obscure the disturbance in Silver Moon and distract heavyweights in the chaos?

That was the key!

If the uproar was too limited, it wouldn’t draw too much attention considering how vast the chaos was. Li Hao was rather curious and expectant if those New Martial guys really would be able to create some opportunities for him.

Who knew?

“We open the Star Gate in ten days!” Li Hao declared. Time flowed slower in the outside world, so those people needed a bit of breathing space to prepare. Ten days was short enough; the key was that he himself couldn’t wait any longer.

Enormous trouble would be upon him if his strength began to decline.

Also, he’d previously borrowed a lot of strength from the future. The chaos tribulation was one calamity he had to endure, but there might be other disasters that struck at critical moments.

“You must do one thing for me,” the young man transmitted to a certain person when the thought struck him. “Once any problems develop with me, you must take control of time as soon as possible. Wield it with your power of life and death! Travel through the river the next couple of days and familiarize yourself with grasping the power of time. I’ll need you to play for some time for me, just in case!

“In addition, if it really comes down to it, combine time, the corporeal dao, and the immaterial dao together! They originated from the same dao universe to begin with, so it should be doable. You will wield the combined product as well!”

Lin Hongyu’s eyes widened; she nodded. Could the three daos be integrated together? No one had ever considered this before and she wasn’t familiar with the notion.

As she thought, Li Hao always had a plethora of contingencies in place for any action he undertook. He just hadn’t been willing to discuss it so plainly with everyone before. This time, he gave a full account.

“If we triumph in this battle, then Silver Moon is bound to stride toward new glories!” Li Hao laughed at the sky. “The chaos is vast and there are many worlds within. It is time for us to greet the chaos, everyone!”

Hello, chaos!

Here we come!

This universe is so fascinating and has existences like the Human King and others within it. There’s bound to be even more interesting entities around as well! I can’t wait to see and experience the chaos universe!

The group was briefly infected by the young man’s energy. Li Hao was the supreme of this era! He was this generation’s supreme for New Martial! He’d drawn back the curtains on this age and walked toward a different future!

......

The Star Gate hung high in the sky. It was the threshold to the world and its strongest bulwark. Several emperors had jointly crafted it during the New Martial era. With it standing guard in front of Silver Moon, even exalted emperors were hard pressed to force their way in.

The Exalted Bone Eclipse Emperor had been sealed away for many years with the Star Gate right overhead, but he’d been unable to smash it and walk out of Silver Moon. He was a heavyweight who had the ability to outright obliterate a minor world, but the presence of the Star Gate made it impossible for him to break this world apart.

Perhaps the Star Gate was Silver Moon’s greatest weapon.

There was a small residence near it; Li Hao was resting here.

Calm Tranquility.

Here was the Sword Sovereign’s residence, a place where the Human King had personally written the signboard for. While there were no echoes of the great dao here, it was still domineering without parallel. A few words were sufficient to enclose the residence with protection. Li Hao and Li Daoheng’s fight here had not damaged it.

One human, one sword, and one dog.

Panther had darted into the residence at some unknown point and sprawled next to Li Hao. It looked up at the sky with the young man, a hint of depression within its eyes.

It might be the strongest existence among the monster spirits of the new age, but... it was still very weak. Ever since the appearance of Number Two, Capsize Sea swearing itself to Li Hao’s banner, learning of the Ash Emperor’s existence, and Li Hao wielding the power of time... Panther felt that its position had come under severe attack.

It was a very smart dog.

Li Hao was the master of this age. The Human King and Ash Cat had shared the world in the age of New Martial, improving together and reaching the peak of master of the world. Another similar story was when the War Sovereign brought Number Two with him and shot down the Heavenly Emperor.

These were the subjects of Panther’s unfettered daydreams, but with the opening of the Star Gate at hand, they were soon to be exposed to all manner of powerhouses. Panth was just a Fused Dao realm beast spirit, it didn’t count as anything.

There was even the forefather of its bloodline within the chaos, as well as the ancestor of its ancestor!

The Ash Cat and Heavenly Dog were two emperors that stood side by side back in the day. The Heavenly Dog was the ancestor of Panther’s ancestor, and its ancestor was the Monster Spirit Envoy from New Martial. Perhaps it was also an exalted emperor now.

Back to it, a Fused Dao beast... Panther felt it quite tragic. It didn’t really want the Star Gate to open. When it did, that might be when Li Hao left them behind.

Or the young man might not abandon them, but would an exalted emperor wish to be imprisoned within Silver Moon forever?

Li Hao was studying the Star Gate as well. He didn’t say anything about Panther’s arrival. Other people feared disturbing the young man, whereas the dog knew that Li Hao wasn’t here to cultivate. This was just his customary meditation prior to each battle, as well as some considerations for the future.

Some words weren’t suited to be shared with others, but they could be shared with a dog.

One human and one dog tilted their heads up to the sky, watching the Star Gate and clouds of red mist dye the entire firmament.

“I’m speeding ahead too quickly and you guys are walking too slowly!” Li Hao said softly. “I actually wish to slow down and wait for you, but Silver Moon is too small and I’m occupying most of the opportunities. You guys won’t have that many more opportunities even if I wait for you.”

There was only so much fortune to be had in the world. It’d given birth to him and two masters of the dao. Silver Moon’s foundation was almost completely emptied.

If he didn’t open the Star Gate, the three of them at the apex of the world might be stuck in Fused Dao forever.

He had to open the Star Gate!

He’d wanted to wait, but realized that was just his fond wish. There was no point in waiting. No wonder so many people had been left behind in New Martial, despite a major world’s resources. The world was only so big!

“Arf!” 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

“Do you still not know how to speak? That’s actually not bad... Hold it in even if you can speak!” Li Hao laughed. The dog was in the Fused Dao realm, but it still couldn’t speak. How odd was that?

“I met your ancestor when I traveled through New Martial. The Monster Spirit Envoy didn’t know how to speak at first. I learned later on that it actually did know how, but that its voice and even mental voice came across as the tones of a baby.

“Therefore, it was unwilling to speak. Does the same go for you? Have you inherited your ancestor’s characteristics and are unwilling to speak?”

Panth looked innocently at him. That was so not the case.

“Other people’s cats and dogs are very strong. Are you feeling self-conscious?”

Panther’s head drooped. A little. It did feel inferior.

“You’re just too young!” Li Hao laughed. “How many years old are they? Your ancestor was only a half step emperor when New Martial vanished, the equivalent of a ninth level Fused Dao. That’s not too far off from you, and you? You made it from being a mundane dog to Fused Dao in less than two years. That’s incredible!”

“Arf!” barked Panther.

Li Hao turned his head to see that the dog was still unwilling to accept current circumstances.
