Aren locked onto a Wyvern, he dashed forward. The Wyvern let out a roar and attacked with a blast, it ripped through the air heavy as the others, but Aren was unbothered by it, he leaped into the air, dodging the attack, his eyes still locked onto it.
The wyvern, seeing Aren in the sky, knew that it had an opportunity here and blasted into the air towards Aren, shooting fast at him, only for shadow tendrils to shoot from the ground and latch onto the wyvern, instantly pulling it down to the ground.
From up there, Aren prepared an attack, he pointed his hands forward and fired a huge pressure of lava, it slammed into the wyvern’s head, the pain was immense as it immediately started thrashing around.
"That hurt? I’m not done with you yet." Aren yelled in the air while coming down, he unleashed a claw strike that slashed into the head of the monster, blood gushed out, the wyvern collapsed to the ground instantly and was unmoving. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Aren landed on the ground, he looked around, they had killed all the wyverns, with Athena taking a majority of the kills, but Aren had about three.
"I need the wyverns as shadows, flying shadows are pretty important." Aren said to himself, so he used consume, and not just normal consume, he also used forced consume which forcefully consumed the wyverns that he didn’t kill as well.
Their bodies vanished into the shadows, he thought that was all, and he would be able to leave now.

Suddenly a message from the system came, Aren was instantly curious, he pulled out the soul weapon that he had gained, he expected something similar to a wyvern in some way, but what he saw was a blood red cube.
"What’s this?" He muttered.

"That’s it?" Aren asked, he expected some more details or a special ability to add. But when he thought about it again, this was quite valuable to him, he looked at the wolf guard, ever since he had gotten it, he had not been able to awaken the soul that was inside, he had even forgotten about it.
"If this works, I can finally get it." Aren said, he turned and looked at Athena who was curiously looking at the cube.
"It’s a soul weapon." Aren said.
"Ouuu, what does it do?" She asked.
"That’s what I’m about to find out." He replied and then brought the cube close to his wolf guard, instantly the cube shot out tendrils and latched onto the wolf guard.
The wolf guard instantly absorbed the cube, and then started to glow.
"Well something is happen- Arghhhhhhhhhh" Aren screamed in pain as the gauntlet suddenly tightened on his hands, spikes formed from under it and stabbed right into his arm.
Athena watched in shock and confusion, not sure what she should do. "Aren are you alright?" She asked as she approached.
"STAY BACK!" Aren bellowed, his voice sounding like that of a growl, his eyes glowed red, but looked like that of a wolf instead.
Athena was shocked by his reaction, she backed away fast, but her worry was still high. Aren grabbed his hands, he was filled with pain, he collapsed to his knees.
"Arghhhhhhhh" He screamed with his voice getting ever deeper, veins bulging on his neck and face with a red color.

The name of the soul inside the weapon finally showed, Aren looked at it, his sight was blurry, but he could make out what it was.

Before Aren could do anything or react in any way, his body collapsed to the ground and his mind was instantly transported into a dark space.
His feet pressed against the ground as a wave spread across like he had just stepped on very shallow water. Then he heard a growl, it was low and heavy.
Aren looked up, and there he saw two glowing red eyes staring right at him. He could feel the strength emanating from this creature.
"So we finally meet." Aren heard the voice inside his head, the figure approached, it looked like an average grey wolf, nothing to make it stand out, yet it carried such a strong aura that Aren could feel it from where he stood.
"You sound like you’ve been waiting for me." Aren said.
"Indeed, to harness this uniquely powerful body of yours, that’s my goal." The wolf said.
"Tch, my weapon is turning against me, after all that we have been through." Aren said.
"My apologies for that, but what must be done, must be done." The wolf said and in the next moment it charged ahead, rushing at Aren, its speed was as fast as teleportation, it was already right in front of Aren, teeth wide and ready to bite.
Aren looked stunned for a moment, but he didn’t allow that to stop him, he stepped back, bent under and evaded the attack.
The wolf’s jaw slammed together, and a massive shock wave ripped through the air, throwing Aren back fast and far, Aren slammed into the ground, rolling through the wall as the shockwave pushed him.
He got on his feet again, looking at the wolf now with renewed shock on his face. That attack alone had nearly shattered his head completely.
"Damn, you really want to kill me." Aren said.
"Well, it’s needed, if I want to get your soul," it said and burst forward again, rushing at Aren extremely fast like before, but this time before it even got to Aren, it unleashed more than ten claw strikes without moving its claw.
This was the first time that Aren was faced with his own attack, and it was done far better than he had ever done it before.
