SSS-Rank Slap Skills Turned Me Too OP-Chapter 25: Caught by Muscle Mommy
Raven Van Thor stood firm in the center of the room, his gaze sweeping over every single face staring back at him. His voice was deep, carrying weight and authority that silenced even the sound of breathing.
"From this moment on... you all need to know one very important thing," he said softly, yet firmly. "Zholdick... has started moving again."
A few gasps slipped from the gathered adventurers. The name itself carried its own trauma. Raven raised a hand, cutting through the noise with a single motion.
"Yes. Zholdick, the demon who almost wiped out human civilization a hundred years ago. The latest information from our scouts—they’ve already spotted their shadow forces at several locations. And they’re not just moving. They’re invading again."
Arthur froze on the spot.Zholdick? Now?
Raven continued, his stare sharpening like a blade.
"This isn’t just a rumor. Entire villages have disappeared without a trace. The survivors... they described creatures we’ve never even seen on a battlefield before. Zholdick isn’t playing around this time. And if we’re not ready..."
He slammed the end of his massive hammer into the floor with bone-shaking force.
DUMM. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
"...humanity will become prey again. Just City will fall. And listen carefully—refuse any offers of Dark Power. Understand this clearly: Dark Power is not the same as Black Mana. If you can’t tell the difference, you will be the first to die."
Arthur felt his throat go dry. His breath caught in his chest.Shit... this is real. Everything’s happening too fast. Why? Just because I refused Kaelthorn’s dark power? Did I trigger this?
He glanced around—the room was filled with serious faces, hardened expressions ready to die if it meant surviving. The weight crushed him from all sides.
Arthur wanted to curse out loud, but all that escaped his lips was a faint whisper:
"Damn..."
Bounchiechomie on his shoulder froze too, its gelatinous body trembling.
Bloop...
"Dark Power? Black Mana?" Levain raised his eyebrows high, his tone annoyingly smug. "Aren’t they the same thing? They’re both black, right..."
Arthur just kept quiet. This motherfucker... can he shut up for just one minute?
Vayne shook his head immediately, covering his face with his hand as though too embarrassed to even look.
Lisha let out a long, frustrated sigh. "Oh my god..."
Casca stepped a little closer to Arthur, her voice low but sharp enough to cut. "Your friend is a real... dumb fuck. I’m sure he’ll only cause trouble later," she said with that thin smile that sent chills down Arthur’s spine.
Yeah, I know, you don’t have to say it out loud... Arthur wanted to retort, but his mouth felt stiff.
Raven Van Thor, who had been standing in the center of the room all this time, started walking toward them. Her steps were heavy and purposeful, her chest broad and shoulders muscular under her fitted armor—yet there was still this aura of effortless allure that made Arthur inwardly curse.
Seriously... why does a woman like this can fall for the dumb, oblivious MC? This world is unfair. Arthur remembered Raven’s future in the "original story"—how she would fall for the main protagonist, only to love him silently, believing that a rough woman like her didn’t deserve his gentle affection.
Raven stopped right in front of Levain, her gaze sharp enough to pierce through him. "Listen carefully, boy," her voice dropped, each word like a nail. "Dark Power feeds on blood. It grows through sacrifice. Every time you use it, you sink deeper—until you’re nothing but a slave."
She glanced briefly at Lisha before continuing, voice clipped. "Black Mana is different. It’s just denser mana. Stronger mana. Users of Black Mana can still be blessed by the light. But Dark Power users?"
Raven leaned in, her face now just inches away. "The light will spit you out. It will never touch you."
Levain’s Adam’s apple bobbed up and down. "E-euh..."
Raven gave a small smirk, her tone shifting into something halfway mocking."And you know... right now, you look like a baby’s diaper the moment it gets wet."
Soft chuckles immediately erupted from a few adventurers standing nearby.
Arthur wanted to laugh too, but... he knew better than to add fuel to the fire.
Levain opened his mouth, "A-a—"
"Shh." Raven put a finger in front of his face. "Don’t make me repeat myself twice."
Levain immediately shut his mouth.
Vayne could only pat Levain’s shoulder lightly with a sigh. "Young master. Please... stop looking for shame yourself..."
Raven Van Thor took a deep breath, then slammed her massive hammer against the floor once more.DUMM.
"Enough. All of you, return to your duties," she ordered firmly. "Submit reports if there’s any new information. No one moves outside the city alone until further notice."
The crowd of adventurers, who had been watching in tense silence, began to slowly disperse. Whispers filled the room, but not a single person dared to argue. Raven’s aura was far too dominating.
Arthur, Vayne, Lisha, Casca, and Levain stayed rooted in place, exchanging glances briefly. Once the room had grown quieter, they stepped forward toward Raven.
"Lady Raven," Vayne spoke up. "We have a report that... is quite important."
Raven turned her gaze to them, her expression blank once more. "What is it?"
Arthur had opened his mouth to speak but blanked out, so Vayne explained instead. "This morning, we took on a mission—or rather, a trap. The quest we received was actually set up to rob rookie adventurers of their ID Cards."
Raven didn’t look surprised. "That kind of thing happens all the time around the outskirts of Just City," she said flatly. "Was anyone injured?"
Arthur felt a little annoyed at how they were being dismissed, but Lisha stepped forward half a pace. "Lady Raven... the perpetrators weren’t just ordinary bandits," she said in a low but firm voice. "We fought users of Dark Power."
Raven instantly went silent.
Arthur could see her sharp gaze slowly shift, focusing entirely on them. "Repeat that," she said quietly.
Lisha met her eyes. "Dark Power users, Lady Raven. They used poison that almost killed all of us on the spot."
Raven stepped closer, her eyes scanning each of them carefully. "You... survived?"
Arthur swallowed hard. "Y-yeah..."
"No one crippled? No lingering signs of poisoning?"
Vayne shook his head slowly. "We managed to survive."
Raven turned her gaze on Lisha, her expression impossible to read. "You... priestess?"
Lisha nodded. "Yes. But—"
"Impossible." Raven cut her off sharply, her voice louder this time. "One priestess is not enough to neutralize Dark Power poison. That poison clings to blood and soul. Even two or three of you would sometimes fail.
Her piercing gaze swept over them. "So... how?"
Vayne and Lisha immediately glanced at Arthur.
Arthur, caught off guard, glanced back at them, completely lost for words. Slowly, he shifted his gaze toward Raven, who was towering in front of them. Her expression was stern, but Arthur’s eyes involuntarily dropped a little lower......to the generous curves of Raven’s chest, tightly bound by her form-fitting armor.
A faint smirk tugged at his lips.
"So... boy?" Raven’s deep voice cut through his thoughts as her eyes locked onto him.
