Chapter 94: Chapter 94: Time Dilation Disk

Inside Adonis’s dormitory room, a quiet tension filled the air.

The curtains were half drawn, allowing only a sliver of sunlight to enter, casting long shadows across the polished floor. The atmosphere felt serious, almost conspiratorial.

Adonis stood near the window, his back partially turned, his presence alone enough to command the room.

Seated around him were Valentina, Millia, and Rai Calder.

This was their first report. And probably the beginning of something much larger.

Adonis slowly turned around, his golden eyes sweeping across the three of them.

"Update."

His voice was calm, yet carried an undeniable authority.

Millia was the first to speak.

"I have recruited 12 students," she said in a composed tone.

Her expression remained steady, but there was a hint of pride in her eyes.

Adonis gave a small nod.

"Good."

Rai leaned back slightly, crossing his arms as he spoke next.

"I managed to bring in 13, Adonis. Most of them are desperate types. Some are talented, but they’ve been ignored or pushed aside."

"They’ll follow as long as we deliver what we promised."

Adonis nodded again. "That’s expected."

Then, the room fell silent.

All eyes slowly turned toward the last person.

Valentina.

She sat elegantly, her posture relaxed, yet her presence carried a strange, dangerous allure.

Her red lips slowly curved into a mysterious smile.

"Mine... 36," she added with a dramatic drag.

"..."

Rai blinked. "What?!"

Millia’s calm expression finally cracked.

"36?" Millia repeated in disbelief. "Valentina, how did you manage to gather so many?"

Even Rai was shocked and impressed.

"That’s three times ours."

"Hehe..." Valentina chuckled softly.

The sound was smooth, almost enchanting.

She slowly lifted her hand.

Then, without hesitation, she revealed it.

Her nails had grown longer and sharper.

Her canines extended slightly, glinting faintly.

"I’m a vampire," she said casually, but an invisible chilling aura spread across the room.

The words landed heavily.

Rai’s eyes widened.

"A... vampire?"

Valentina tilted her head slightly, amused by his reaction.

"Surprised?"

She slowly brought her fingers to her lips, tracing them lightly in an almost teasing manner.

"I didn’t just recruit them. I made them my minions."

Millia’s eyes narrowed slightly.

"What do you mean? Did you kill them?"

"Hehe.." Valentina smiled mischievously.

"Of course not. I just turned them into vampires using my blood, and they willingly accepted all terms for power."

A faint, dark pride lingered in her voice.

"They are now bound to me."

She glanced toward Adonis.

"And through me... they are bound to Adonis."

The room grew quiet again.

Rai leaned back slowly, trying to process what he had just heard.

"So you’re saying... those 36 people..."

"All are now vampires. And they are completely loyal. They will not betray us. They cannot."

A chill ran down Rai’s spine.

"That’s unbelievable. I thought vampires had long been extinct."

Millia crossed her arms, her expression thoughtful.

"It’s effective," she admitted. "But also dangerous."

"Power is always dangerous."

All eyes then turned toward Adonis.

He had remained silent the entire time.

His golden eyes rested on Valentina.

There was no shock or fear in them. Only quiet acknowledgment.

"You had my permission," Adonis said calmly.

Valentina nodded. "Of course."

Adonis took one step ahead of them. "36 loyal subordinates... That’s a good start."

Rai let out a breath, still shaking his head slightly.

"I was wondering how we were supposed to build an army quickly..."

He glanced at Valentina.

"But now I understand."

Millia looked at Adonis, asking: "What’s next?"

Adonis’s expression sharpened.

"The next step is simple." His voice turned colder.

"We will organize them."

"We will train them."

"After that we will assign their roles."

"This is no longer just recruitment."

His gaze swept across all three of them.

"This is the foundation of the Shadow-Blood Legion."

Rai raised one arm, signaling for Adonis to stop.

"But they’re still weak, Adonis. Even if we recruit more people, it would take months, maybe even years, before they become strong enough to be useful for your plans."

Millia nodded in agreement.

"That’s true, Adonis. Big numbers won’t matter if they can’t fight or think properly."

"Even my minions are the same. They are loyal, but not yet refined," Valentina added.

The concern in the room was clear.

They had people.

But they lacked time.

Yet, in contrast to their seriousness, Adonis’s expression remained completely calm.

Almost amused.

He didn’t respond immediately.

Instead, he slowly raised his right hand and reached toward empty space.

For a brief moment, it looked as if his hand pierced through something invisible.

Then he pulled something out.

A strange object appeared in his grasp.

It was a rotating disk.

Buzz!

The moment it appeared, the room’s atmosphere subtly shifted.

All three of them instinctively focused on it.

The disk was triangular in shape, its surface smooth and metallic, yet etched with intricate patterns that seemed to move on their own.

From it, a soft green light radiated from its center, forming the faint outline of a Roman clock that rotated slowly.

It looked ancient. Mysterious. And powerful.

Rai’s brows furrowed. "What is that?"

Millia leaned slightly forward, her sharp eyes observing every detail.

Valentina’s gaze turned serious.

Then, almost simultaneously, their Sword Links reacted.

Information appeared before their eyes.

And the moment they read it... they froze.

Rai’s mouth opened slightly.

"S-grade artifact??" Even he couldn’t believe his eyes.

Millia’s calm composure cracked again.

"Time acceleration? 20 times?"

Valentina’s eyes gleamed with a rare seriousness.

"20 times..."

All three of them slowly looked back at Adonis.

Now they understood.

Adonis casually spun the disk on his finger.

"So, do we still need months?" he asked, smirking a little.

Rai let out a sharp breath, running a hand through his hair.

"You’re unfathomable, Adonis. Now, I don’t find your goals as insurmountable anymore."

Rai seemed visibly excited.

"If this works the way it says..."

Millia completed the thought.

"One month outside becomes twenty months inside."

Valentina’s lips curled.

"An army will be trained in silence, while the world remains unaware."

Adonis stopped spinning the disk and caught it firmly.

"Exactly."

"We don’t lack talent."

"We don’t lack manpower."

"We only lacked time."

He lifted the disk slightly.

"Now we have it."

His words visibly shook them. They were more motivated than ever.

Rai looked at the disk again, disbelief still lingering.

"An S-grade artifact, and you just had it lying around?"

Adonis shrugged casually.

"Family heirloom."

Rai rolled his eyes. Who was he trying to fool?

In truth, last night Adonis bought it from the Harem Shop using the last of his Harem Force from his reserve.

His Harem Force was nearly zero. He needed to replenish them before the next day arrived.

And he already had the perfect candidate for tonight.
