Spoiled by the CEO after amnesia!-Chapter 476 - 474: Who on earth smashed my car!
It sounded like the noise of a car collision!
A crowd of onlookers turned in surprise to see that the sound came from the nearby open-air parking lot!
On the rear end of a BMW 5X parked on the perimeter, another car had caused a huge hole and white smoke was sputtering out!
It was essentially totaled!
The instigator was a Porsche Spyder, its solid and firm body seemingly undamaged despite the collision with the BMW, now elegantly backing up several meters like a regal sovereign.
The man on the blind date froze for a few seconds before he realized what had happened and cried out in disbelief, "My car! That’s my brand new car—"
Without caring for anything else, he sprinted towards it.
That Porsche Spyder, a limited edition model, seemed so familiar; it would be hard to find a second one in all of Yunling.
Jiayi’s eyes widened. It was that man’s car!
Meanwhile, the man on the blind date had reached the open-air parking lot and upon seeing his car turned into a heap of scrap metal, felt a physical pain and exploded with rage, "Can’t you damn drive, get out, you just get the hell out—"
Yet the Porsche remained protectively still and quiet, arrogantly positioned in front of him as if mocking the man before it.
A dashing figure sat in the driver’s seat, his long and strong fingers perched on the leather steering wheel.
The man wore dark sunglasses, obscuring his expression and features, but even through the glass and sunglasses, the man on the blind date felt a bone-chilling coldness.
Just then, an SUV pulled up behind the Porsche, screeching to a halt on the asphalt. The doors flung open, and several men in black jumped out.
Before the man on the blind date could react, they had twisted his arm, pinned him, and were marching him towards the SUV.
Once inside the SUV, the door shut swiftly, plunging the interior into dim light.
"Hey—what do you people think you’re doing—my car—my car—" he exclaimed, only to have a burlap sack stuffed over his head by one of the men in black.
The men rained blows upon the sack-covered head, only stopping once they felt it was enough, then yanked the sack off with one fierce pull!
"Woo—woo—I’m going—to call the police—" The man gasped through the swelling in his face, his body aching as if falling apart, wailing in furious outrage.
First his beloved car is wrecked, then he’s beaten up for no reason!
What kind of rotten luck had he walked into today!
The men in black looked at each other and exchanged a knowing smirk that seemed bizarrely out of place in the dark interior of the SUV.
One leaned in close to the man’s ear and whispered, "Are you sure you want to call the cops? You think the police in Yunling City would dare to get involved?"
"Why wouldn’t they? Who the hell do you think you are? Who’s the bastard that smashed my car—"
The man in black violently twisted his dislocated jaw, and amidst a scream of pain whispered, "Go ahead and report if you dare. But don’t say I didn’t warn you; once you do, your fate will be a hundred times worse than now."
Only then, amidst throbbing pain, did the man sense the deadly seriousness. He took in a sharp breath, "Who... who exactly wrecked my car?"
Leaning in, one man whispered, not even worried about him telling anyone, "It’s Yunling’s most powerful person. Go ahead and report if you have the guts."
After that, he yanked the door open and shoved the man out onto the street!
The man stumbled but regained his balance. Still shaken, he mulled over the words of the man in black and realized just who was sitting in the Porsche. He shivered and hurriedly ducked into his own car. While it still ran, albeit barely, he drove off in a cloud of smoke.
At the same time, the Porsche leisurely turned around, exited the open-air parking lot, and sped toward the outdoor tea café. Then, with a screech, it traced a beautiful and smooth arc on the ground before coming to a steady halt.
The car door opened.
The man in sunglasses who stepped out of the driver’s seat walked over in a suit that showed off his well-built, slender figure. He stopped and his gaze briefly settled on Jiayi, then narrowed slightly before moving on to Xia Tingxuan, "Auntie, hello."
Xia Tingxuan was startled and couldn’t help glancing at Jiayi, "Jiayi, do you know him?"
With her mom watching, she’d nearly crashed her car into this man’s. Now that he was here, could she say she didn’t know him?
Jiayi took a breath, struggled to keep her pounding heart in check, and could only honestly answer, "Uh-huh. He’s my Boss from Yundu."
Boss? 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
That might fool a child, but Xia Tingxuan was not easily deceived, her face full of doubt.
It was clear to her that her daughter’s relationship with this man wasn’t simply that of a boss and subordinate.
Her daughter was in the middle of a blind date, and now the Boss had shown up, even wrecking the blind date’s car. How could this be a coincidence?
The Aunt Liu standing nearby, even if she were blind, would perceive what sort of car the man drove.
And the man’s suit, even the sunglasses perched on his prominent nose, were all customized luxury items!
She swallowed hard, frowning, "Your daughter already has someone, why ask me to introduce her to dates? Aren’t you playing a trick on me? People will think I’m deceiving them!" With that, she stormed off in a huff.
Xia Tingxuan was also annoyed that a colleague had introduced such a low-quality blind date to her daughter. Seeing the woman leave so angrily, she didn’t bother to stop her, and upon noticing the wrecked car, much of her irritation had already dissipated.
Jiayi, worried he might say something to her mom, quickly took hold of her, "Let’s go back."
Xia Tingxuan gently brushed her daughter’s hand away and scrutinized the man before her.
Huo Zhenyang’s eyes held a carefree smile, and he didn’t shy away, openly letting Xia Tingxuan take her measure of him.
Jiayi’s palms were nearly sweating, and she stared at the man inconspicuously.
"How should I address this gentleman?" Finally, Xia Tingxuan spoke up.
"Mommy, his last name is Huo," Jiayi hurriedly said.
The little woman wasn’t giving him any chance to speak. Could it be that she was scared he’d say something wrong?
Was he really that unseemly, so unacceptable?
That seriously wounded his pride as a male. Especially for someone like him, whose pride was off the charts.
Huo Zhenyang felt a chilling sense of being snubbed, his brows furrowing tightly.
"Mr. Huo, you just hit that man’s car, will that be a problem?"
Xia Tingxuan ventured cautiously.
Night had fallen, and from a distance, it wasn’t clear, but she caught a glimpse of the blind date guy causing a commotion, which ended after a few seconds when he got into an SUV with several others. By the time he came out again, the blind date dashed off shamefacedly in his car, without a peep!
"No problem," Huo Zhenyang quirked his thin lips nonchalantly.
Jiayi bit her lip, "Mr. Huo is about to run for mayor, won’t this be an issue? If that man spreads the word about your violent behavior, it could ruin your campaign. I can’t be responsible for that."
Running for mayor? Xia Tingxuan was taken aback.
Yet Huo Zhenyang simply smiled, "Do you think he has the guts?"
Jiayi tensed her arm, eager to leave without further ado, whispering, "Mommy, let’s go."
Huo Zhenyang watched the mother and daughter turn to leave, a gleam flickering in his narrow, deep-set eyes, "Going where? Back to that dingy neighborhood swarming with gossipy aunts and uncles?"
