Spoiled by the CEO after amnesia!-Chapter 178 - 176: Charter the Entire Airliner
As Huo Zhenyang was leading Jiayi out of the airport, Lin Zixun returned with drinks and food in hand.
He saw the Boss stepping off the private jet, and was pleasantly surprised, coming over to ask a few questions.
Huo Zhenyang gave him a brief explanation, turned his handsome face, and cast a glance at the girl who had been waiting for a whole day and was exhausted, before instructing:
"It’s too late today, book a hotel nearby first. Book the flight for tomorrow morning, we’re returning to G City."
*————**————
The next day, as dawn broke.
The two boarded the flight to G City.
Last night, Jiayi didn’t sleep well, tossing and turning at the thought of returning to G City.
Even though it was a city she had stayed in, it now felt like she was leaving home to go to another city.
As she left the hotel this morning, sleep-deprived and still drowsy headed, her state was evident.
Huo Zhenyang glanced at the dark circles under her almond-shaped eyes and said expressionlessly, "Zixun, have you booked the return flight?"
Lin Zixun nodded, "I booked it last night, first class. It’ll just be a few hours to G City."
The Boss was accustomed to his private jet, and wouldn’t have taken a commercial flight this time if his own plane hadn’t been in for repairs, and if he hadn’t been in such a rush to arrive at H City.
Huo Zhenyang’s eyelashes fluttered slightly as he gave Lin Zixun a few instructions with a calm voice, as though discussing something as normal as eating a meal.
Lin Zixun saw the fatigue on Miss Jiayi’s face beside the Boss and immediately understood, hurrying off to take care of it.
At the airport, in the office.
Faced with a customer intending to charter the whole aircraft, the airline manager frowned so tightly it was almost as if he could kill mosquitoes with it: "Charter an entire plane? It’s not that it’s impossible, but you should at least give us a two-day notice. Informing our customers now to change to a later flight would affect our company’s reputation—"
"This should be sufficient to ’compensate’ for your company’s reputation loss. Our Boss is used to private jets and doesn’t like to be disturbed, even less to come into contact with irrelevant people, and he doesn’t want to hear a single noise."
The manager hadn’t finished speaking when Lin Zixun, bending forward slightly, pushed the open checkbook towards him.
The manager’s eyes widened at the astronomical figure on the checkbook.
With this amount of money, you could not only charter a plane but even purchase an average second-hand commercial aircraft.
To have an entire plane chartered for a short domestic flight, just to avoid being disturbed by others?
The manager swallowed hard, "The money’s not an issue, but I still have to report this to my superiors..."
After all, he wasn’t the sole owner of the airline.
Lin Zixun could understand his position but smirked slightly, "No need for that hassle. If your boss asks, just say it’s Young Master Huo who chartered the plane."
The manager was momentarily stunned, taking several seconds before it dawned on him.
Young Master Huo... the CEO of the Huo Group from G City?
How could the manager not know of the Huo Family’s resounding reputation in the business circles?
The Huo Family was involved in a wide range of businesses, including the aviation industry.
And the owner of this domestic airline had repeatedly sought investment from Young Master Huo to expand and develop the business.
Now that Young Master Huo had deigned to travel on a commercial flight, chartering one was nothing to fuss over!
The manager caught on and nodded like a pecking chicken, "Alright, I’ll get right on it. Young Master Huo can board at any time."
It wasn’t until she boarded the plane that Jiayi found out the entire flight back to G City had been booked by Huo Zhenyang. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
As they boarded, the airline manager personally led a group of flight attendants and ground staff to welcome Huo Zhenyang and his entourage onto the plane, only stopping short of rolling out a red carpet.
Jiayi followed by Huo Zhenyang’s side, walking along and couldn’t help but click her tongue. This man had turned a large passenger jet into his own private plane, was that really okay?
At her ear, however, came the man’s low voice in jest, "Could you enjoy such a distinguished treatment if you stayed in H City?"
The plane climbed into the sea of clouds, and the golden sunlight pierced through the layers of clouds, heralding a new day, a new journey.
Everything just reclaimed in H City, the fresh life and loved ones, the academic studies just begun, and even the first prize she had just won in a design competition, all had to be left behind...
She had even considered using the design competition win to travel the world in search of her family, but now it was put on hold.
She was going back to this man’s side again.
Like a young chick that had just entered a vast world, yet a hunter mercilessly snatched it back into a golden cage.
Jiayi sighed softly toward the clouds outside the airplane window.
Was her life destined to be inseparably bound to this man?
Previously, it was out of necessity that she was dependent on him, this towering and robust tree.
Now, it was due to the unfinished contract, and the matter with Su Yan, that she was once again tied to him.
But—
No matter what, she had to persist, she absolutely could not allow herself to be moved.
Perhaps, this was the only thing she could hold firmly onto now.
"Miss, would you like some beverage?" The flight attendant in the first-class cabin revealed a professionally polite smile as she came over to ask.
Jiayi pulled her thoughts back, feeling very disordered and somewhat listless. What better suited her current self than a cup of black coffee to stimulate the spirits?
"Coffee, black coffee, no sugar or milk," she said politely.
Just as the attendant was about to comply, from the other side on the luxurious couch came the man’s authoritative and unarguable voice, "Give her a cup of pure milk."
The attendant looked over and saw the man in a European custom-tailored suit, the crisp and fitted suit wrapping his handsome and charming figure, a physique that was one in a million, bathing in the sunlight filtering through the small window, his profile beautiful beyond compare, noble and refined, as if he were a flawless sculpture. But his eyes were too deep and cold, like a dark pool with no visible bottom, into which one could drown if carelessly submerged.
The flight attendant, though well-traveled and experienced, had never encountered such handsome features. Her face flushed, her heartbeat quickened, "Of course, Mr. Huo," she said, then turned to leave, looking back three steps at a time.
Jiayi raised her eyebrows, what did that mean, was she being asked what she wanted to drink, or was it actually the man being asked?
Clearly she had said she wanted coffee, yet the attendant listened to the man.
Indeed, it was a world where appearance mattered.
But then, her entire life was dominated by this man, let alone a choice between coffee or milk.
"Since you’re going back to face those trivial matters involving Mu Qingran and Huo Garden, what you need now is not to force yourself to be alert but to get a good sleep and conserve your energy," he said, narrowing his eyes, every word deliberate.
Jiayi was silent, she had to admit, the man made a lot of sense.
Coffee could relieve fatigue momentarily, but after the rush, it’s just endless weariness.
A cup of milk might be what could truly settle her down.
Within a few minutes, the flight attendant brought over the warm milk.
