Spoiled by the CEO after amnesia!-Chapter 112 - 110: Isn’t the Luck Too Weird?!
Another weekend arrived.
Jinhua University.
This was the day Liang Tao had previously agreed upon, allowing his son and daughter, along with Jiayi, to attend a meeting.
After the last class on Friday, Liang Anya arrived at the freshman girls’ dormitory building, and left the school with Jiayi.
Liang Jue had come out of his own school early, waiting at the gate of Jinhua University in a silver convertible sports car.
Seeing Jiayi and his sister come out, Liang Jue smiled, got out, and opened the car door, "Get in."
After the three got into the car, amidst the enviable looks of Jin University students coming and going, the sports car, like an arrow released from a bow, sped away!
In H City, in a downtown six-star hotel, the meeting was arranged on the top floor.
The three made a beeline for the top floor and entered the large conference hall.
Inside, employees from the Liang Family company filled the room, along with several executives from Boda Group.
The new parcel of land required a huge investment, and it would be difficult for the Liang Family to secure it on their own, so the main purpose of this bidding meeting was to persuade Boda Group to co-invest.
At the moment, Liang Tao and President Yu of Boda Group were sitting on the stage.
Liang Jue, Jiayi, and Liang Anya, as interns for the Liang Family’s Hongtai Real Estate Company, sat quietly in the last row of the conference room, listening attentively.
"For this new parcel of land, President Liang plans to build a large amusement park. There are already too many amusement parks. I wonder if there is anything different from other amusement parks."
President Yu’s voice echoed in the conference room.
Liang Tao said, "We have the most advanced gaming equipment, all imported from America, and in sync with America’s Disney amusement rides, which should attract a lot of children..."
President Yu shook his head, "Just these seem to lack novelty. If there’s no difference from other amusement parks, Boda isn’t very interested in investing."
Liang Tao was taken aback, just as he was about to speak again, President Yu’s gaze drifted and fell upon the last row, as if deep in thought, "The three seated at the back, are they President Liang’s son and daughter?"
Liang Tao didn’t expect President Yu to notice the three, and he politely said, "Yes, they are my daughter and son, and another young lady, who is the daughter of a friend of mine that I’m currently looking after. All three of them are studying architecture and design, so I thought it’d be good for them to attend and broaden their horizons."
President Yu nodded and smiled, "Since that’s the case, why not have the young lady speak first, and see if she has any good ideas for the structure and layout of the future amusement park."
Jiayi was startled. Was President Yu actually speaking to her?
Liang Tao was also surprised, and quickly said, "President Yu, Jiayi is just a freshman, she hasn’t been studying design for long, it might not be appropriate for her to offer suggestions."
President Yu waved his hand, his tone gentle, "No matter, those who study design naturally have some artistic sensibility and meticulous and unique thinking. They might even have more imagination and wider perspectives than us?"
Liang Tao could only glance at Jiayi.
Jiayi stood up, paused for a moment, "The façade of any commercial institution is very important. I personally believe that much thought needs to be put into the entrance of the amusement park.
"Very good. Please continue," urged President Yu.
Jiayi didn’t expect President Yu to actually take her seriously, and she became sincere, "I suggest constructing a Ferris wheel at the entrance. In the initial phase of opening, we could offer free rides on the Ferris wheel for the view."
As soon as she finished speaking, the conference room buzzed with discussion.
Jiayi restrained her nervousness and continued:
"The Ferris wheel is a city’s eye; from it, you can enjoy the cityscape. Take the London Eye in the United Kingdom, for example, it is situated at the heart of the city, the world’s largest observation wheel. From its vantage point, you can have a bird’s-eye view of the Capital’s scenery. Over time, it has also become a landmark of London. Our amusement park can emulate such a concept and spirit, transforming the park not only into a playground for children but also a stress-relieving haven for ’big kids’ and adults. I believe this will become a feature that sets our park apart from others."
The conference room fell silent for a moment, with not a sound to be heard.
After ten seconds, President Yu clapped his hands, laughing, "Good, very good! This idea is quite unique!"
Encouraged by President Yu’s lead, those in attendance also started to clap sporadically, then more steadily, until the applause thundered like a storm!
"Let’s proceed with this lady’s idea," President Yu glanced at his secretary.
The secretary quickly typed on the laptop to record the suggestion.
As these words came out, everyone was taken aback with surprise.
Even Jiayi thought she had misheard. Had her casual suggestion been adopted just like that?
It seemed her proposal was taken quite seriously... was this all a bit too much like child’s play?
Liang Tao was also startled. If President Yu had agreed to Xiaoyi’s concept, did that mean he had agreed to a joint venture with the Liang Family’s Hongtai Real Estate?
Indeed, President Yu stood up with a smile, "Mr. Liang, I’m delighted to cooperate with your company and am equally pleased that your company has such outstanding professionals to provide such excellent ideas."
Liang Tao was incredibly surprised; the child Xiaoyi had clinched the cooperative deal.
After a moment of shock, Liang Tao reached out happily and shook hands with President Yu, but as he sat down, he asked in a low voice, "Does President Yu really plan to install a free Ferris wheel at the entrance? Xiaoyi is, after all, still a child and has only recently started studying design."
"As long as the idea is good, what does age matter? Mr. Liang, you’re being rather old-fashioned. The world now indeed belongs to the young people!" laughed President Yu cheerfully.
Liang Tao smiled wryly; while that might be true, this seemed rather hasty.
The suggestion casually made by Xiaoyi had built a future model for an amusement park; President Yu was placing far too much importance on Xiaoyi’s words.
"Xiaoyi, you’re amazing to have moved Boda Group to invest in our real estate project," Liang Anya tugged at Jiayi’s clothes, overjoyed.
"Seems like Xiaoyi’s talent far surpasses yours, even though you graduated a year ahead of her!" Liang Jue also teased his sister.
Liang Anya punched her brother hard.
But Jiayi was still in a daze, she had just randomly put forward her idea, and President Yu of Boda had taken it seriously and even agreed to partner with the Liang Family?
Wasn’t this stroke of luck too absurd and mystifying?
The meeting concluded.
The girl who had sat quietly at the back had now become the center of attention for everyone present.
Flanked by Liang Jue and Liang Anya, one on each side, Jiayi left with the siblings first.
After the crowd dispersed, Liang Tao and President Yu privately discussed the details before leaving.
The conference room, empty of people, quieted down.
President Yu rose from the chairman’s podium, lifted the curtain behind the stage, and walked to the back.
Behind the conference room was an office, bright and tidy. Seated in the swivel chair in front of the floor-to-ceiling window was a tall and straight figure.
