Several years had passed since Shang Xia and seven other Sages of other Star Regions joined forces to explore the center of the Spatial Vortex.

Though most of the eight had survived that ordeal, some had perished, and after escaping, the survivors had each gone their separate ways.

Shang Xia had not expected to meet Lady Grace again in the Towering Star Region, one of his companions from that dangerous venture.

After years apart, perhaps due to the gains she had made during that trial, Lady Grace’s cultivation had clearly advanced, she had already become a mid-level Sage.

The Essence Mu World was an independent world without any auxiliary worlds.

Thus, when she suddenly ran into her opponent, Lady Grace could not rely on the support of her Heavenly Field. Worse still, in order to spare the Essence Mu World from collateral damage, she had to try her best to draw the battle away into the void.

More importantly, the enemy battling her had features and an aura alien to the Chaotic Sea of Stars.

Without a doubt, he was a foreign expert from beyond the Chaotic Sea of Stars, very likely one of the outsiders who had colluded with the Star Origin Lord to destroy the Essence Zhen Heavenly Field.

Yet as a fifth star Sage, that man could not have been the Star Origin Lord’s sole partner. There had to be others behind him, explaining why the Towering Star Region was treating everything so seriously.

From thousands of miles away, Shang Xia suddenly raised his hand and grasped at the void. The dim stars in the depths seemed to answer his call.

In the next instant, the foreign expert pressing Lady Grace’s defense turned pale. His domain shuddered under a mighty pressure, and his inner qi began rapidly leaking away.

An expert’s domain was not only a shield but also a reservoir of energy to unleash stronger techniques. With his inner qi draining, it was like losing the fuel beneath a boiling cauldron.

Though his cultivation realm outstripped Lady Grace’s, she could hold her ground with the support of the Essence Mu World.

She remembered vividly the enigmatic, powerful figure from the Spatial Vortex, the most mysterious of them all.

Afterward, she had sought hints of his identity, but he was too elusive. Though his techniques carried obvious traits of the stars, many Sages of the Chaotic Sea of Stars had drawn from the legacy of the old Heaven Observation Sect, and some Heavenly Fields even had its inheritances.

So it was impossible to find him based on his abilities alone.

But having fought alongside him before, Lady Grace was familiar with Shang Xia’s aura. The instant he acted nearby, she recognized him.

“Hah, the Towering Star Region truly has those who wish me dead. Even with their strong defenses, they not only allowed a foreign expert to strike at me... Now, the only person who came to help is someone not from our Star Region!”

Though seething inside, Lady Grace wasted no time. She seized the chance Shang Xia had bought her and counterattacked fiercely.
