Splitting the Heavens-Chapter 1562: Reinforcements

As the second beam of starlight from the Star Origin Dao Field struck towards the heavenly screen of the Spirit Tinkle World, Shang Xia had no choice but to retreat further, avoiding it from striking him.

Shang Xia was willing to help the Spirit Tinkle World resist the invasion of the Star Origin Dao Field, but that didn't mean he was willing to sacrifice himself in the process.

As everything was playing out, Shang Xia discovered something wrong. He wanted to rush over to help, but it was too late.

With a loud rumble, an Elysium collapsed and a massive hole was torn in the heavenly screen. It showed no signs of restoring itself and along with the collapse of an Elysium, an Elysium True Immortal also died.

Even after losing a True Immortal, the power contained in the Star Origin Dao Field’s strike didn’t dissipate completely. Another Elysium True Immortal detonated the energy in her dantian, causing half of it to be destroyed, destroying half her Elysium as a result. Even though half the experts in the Elysium that was destroyed were sacrificed, they managed to weaken the beam of starlight even more. Another tear appeared in the heavenly screen, but it started to repair itself.

The sacrifice made by that True Immortal was worthwhile. While the cost was heavy in terms of casualties for her sect, it ultimately preserved the foundation of her Elysium, giving them a chance to rise again. Even though her cultivation regressed due to the detonation of energy in her dantian, she managed to stay alive.

With an Elysium collapsing and half of another crumbling, the Spirit Tinkle World stopped the second offensive from the Star Origin Dao Field.

True Immortal Ban appeared in the void above the heavenly screen the next moment, gesturing to Shang Xia.

If Shang Xia wanted to retreat, he could simply activate the formation and return to his Spirit Luxuriant World. There was no way the Star Origin Dao Field could stop him either.
