Spirit Soul-Chapter 252 Treasures Everywhere
[Tempest Shirana Warlock]
That was written on the cover of the manual Arashi was interested in.
Kyle's attention had averted from the map to the manual and he opened it with interest.
The word 'Tempest' combined with 'Warlock' was quite intriguing and his eyes began to gleam brightly when he figured out what the manual was about.
"Amazing, it's both a cultivation manual and a martial arts technique related to the wind attribute!"
Kyle could now understand why Arashi was interested in the Tempest Shirana Warlock book. The technique was a treasure that would allow him to become much stronger than before.
He had never been trained by a master of the wind element, so every single bit of help was amazing.
Kyle looked at the book he was holding as if it was an amazing treasure, and that was exactly what it was.
"With the map and this book, I feel we've already gotten more than enough treasures to leave again." Kyle thought out loud before he began to laugh lightly.
The Tempest Shirana Warlock book was in very good condition and it had been preserved with the mana it harbored. It didn't have a seal on it, locking it to this place as well.
This was why Kyle was pretty sure that he could take it outside the Ancient treasury.
Yasmine and Selene looked at him with a wry smile, not saying anything.
However, their heart tightened a bit at the thought that they might actually leave right now.
They didn't want to leave immediately because the two girls wanted to have Kyle for themselves, even if it was just for a short time.
The competition the three girls around Kyle had was already fierce enough, and it was quite rare to find an opportunity to have him by their side.
Kyle was simply too focused on becoming stronger. It was almost as if he was not even bothered about the beauties around him.
Of course, Kyle knew that his three companions were beautiful but he also knew that he shouldn't bother about doing anything indecent. After all, emotions would prevent him from getting stronger as quickly as possible.
It would distract him, make things complicated in their group and potentially do worse things.
At least that was his opinion of the given situation.
"I should definitely read the Tempest Shirana Warlock book once we're outside. However, for now, we should try to catch up to the others. They had quite a head start, so how about we use our advantage?" He asked, smiling faintly.
"Our advantage…what do you mean?" Selene asked, not understanding what Kyle meant.
"The Pagoda is more than 200 meters high, and we are on the highest floor. We can use the altitude to our advantage to scan our surroundings and to fly through it." Kyle answered calmly.
"Wonderful idea!" Yasmine exclaimed while clasping in her hands. Her fiery red wings fluttered in agreement, and only Selene looked slightly bothered.
"I…cannot fly, though…" She silently mumbled before looking deep into Kyle's eyes, hoping that he could miraculously help her.
However, Kyle didn't do anything. Instead, Arashi jumped on Selene's shoulder before he yelped out as if he wanted to say, 'There is no need to worry, I'm there for you!'
Only after Arashi had yelped out did Kyle say something.
"Arashi will create wind platforms below you. This will allow you to run through the air."
After Kyle explained the situation crudely he looked at the only door on the Pagoda's highest floor. He approached it and passed through it, entering the balcony.
"Let's leave." Kyle merely added, jumping over the wooden railing. He manifested two wind platforms below the area his feet landed on, just to start running in a specific direction.
"Why do I feel that he is different than usual? Is it just me or did his entire behavior change, as if he is less tensed up and more excited?" Yasmine asked rhetorically toward Selene.
However, as expected, Selene didn't give her an answer because she was already too occupied with following Kyle.
'Well, whatever. Kyle's mood is probably the only thing that has changed after he got his hand on the mysterious map and the Tempest Shirana Warlock book' Yasmine shrugged her shoulders before rushing after both Kyle and Selene.
She spread out her wings the moment she jumped out of the balcony and flapped with them a few times to catch up with Kyle and Selene.
"Where are we going?" Yasmine asked after they had been flying for a few minutes.
Kyle was flying in a specific direction and it looked like he had a goal in mind.
"No idea. I wanted to increase the distance to the Pagoda first because the places in its surrounding should have been plundered by now."
He looked on the ground and saw numerous old constructions. There were numerous buildings of all sizes but he couldn't see a single Lohar or people from the special class. fre𝑒𝘸𝚎𝚋n૦ѵℯl.c𝒐𝘮
The ancient treasury looked more like the ancient ruins of an abandoned city.
This was not further interesting to Kyle, who was fully focused on using his Nurture ability in the hope to find treasures.
He could see the hues of objects and living beings he could help develop. In most cases, he would have to find living beings to develop their hues and to help them to become stronger.
However, there were also certain objects such as high-graded ingredients, sentient equipment, or equipment that had been crafted with specific ways to develop them.
Kyle was always learning new things about the nurture ability and his Spirit Soul. That was why he wanted to make use of the Nurture ability to make huge gains.
The Ancient treasury was a great opportunity to change one's fast, and Kyle wanted to reap as much as possible.
Thus, the moment he saw something that attracted his attention he would approach it in an instant.
However, even after an entire day had passed, Kyle had yet to make his first stop.
The Ancient treasury was much larger than expected. It was a large dimension, and the other Cultivators, who had entered the ancient treasury with them, seemed to know this as well.
Their knowledge about the ancient treasury was deeper than Kyle's which was why they passed by many ruins of buildings. They ignored the potential gains they could make from the ruins of the entire city just to leave it.
Kyle didn't know why that was the case at first but after he passed by some Cultivators on the second day, he could tell that the city's ruins were located in the center of a valley.
On the horizon, he could see a towering mountain ring sealing off the ancient treasury.
"Well, that's an amazing way to say that one is 'close' to the dimension's borders," Yasmine mumbled and Kyle could only agree.
They had been flying for nearly two days by that time, and only thanks to Kyle's nourishment was it possible for the three of them to keep flying through the air.
By the end of the second day, they had passed most Cultivators, whose advance had been slowed down thanks to the influence of the beasts inhabiting the ancient treasury.
"Even the beasts are treasures," was Kyle's only commentary when he saw the numerous beasts after they had left the ruins of the city.
In the valley, the greenery was overwhelmingly beautiful. There were numerous herbs he had never heard of before.
The flowers, trees, and even the grass could be considered small treasures. That being said everything one could find inside the ancient treasury was of high value.
As long as one spent enough time cutting down the trees, plucking the flowers, or even collecting the soil, one would earn quite some money.
But nobody wasted their time with little money if they could make a huge fortune.
And that was what everyone had in mind as they approached the mountains, the place the furthest away from the Pagoda, where they had started.
The mountain ring was just that: a ring of mountains surrounding the valley where they had emerged by entering the ancient treasury.
However, the most important thing about the mountain ring of the ancient treasury was the fact that there were large ore deposits and unique mines.
And the most important mines amongst them were the Mana-, Pryr-, and Spirit stone mines!
The reason was unknown but every single time the ancient treasury was opened, the dimension would have undergone a reset.
It was not as if the ancient treasury would have the same items as before, which would mean that the Tempest Shirana Warlock book.
But if there was one thing that never changed every single time the ancient treasury reset, it would be the Mana-, Pryr-, and Spirit stone deposits!
