There didn't seem to be a big change in Arashi after he finished mutating.

A black horn still protruded out of his forehead, he had azure-colored fur, and his eyes were still emerald in color.

Arashi's tail was wiggling then Kyle caressed him, only for the one difference in the Spirit Soul's appearance to be unveiled!

On each side of Arashi's tail, Kyle could feel two bulges. Under normal circumstances, one wouldn't really think much about them.

However, Kyle was of a different opinion when he felt the bulges.

They were Arashi's only difference from before his mutation.

As such, it was only obvious for Kyle to be more interested in them.

With the use of his Nurture ability, he tried to see if there were any nurture paths around the bulges because there was something Kyle predicted to be the case.

Unfortunately, there were no hues to be nurtured.

"So the other tails will only grow after he evolved?" Kyle mumbled, his eyes fixated on the two bulges around the Spirit Soul's tail.

Tilting his head, Kyle couldn't help but smile weirdly.

Even if he had hoped that Arashi would become a terrifying existence, never did he actually believe that it would be possible for Arashi to become a three-tailed fox. 𝒇𝚛e𝘦wℯ𝑏𝓃𝑜νℯ𝒍.co𝗺

After all, he didn't have the usual characteristics, traits, and affinities an ordinary three-tailed fox had.

But that was not something Kyle could be bothered about as he began to smile.

"So you will really get a three-tailed fox after evolving? That would be really great. Their strength exceeds the realms of ordinary beasts by far as well!"

With a smile on his lips, Kyle finished the Xth inspection of Arashi.

Meanwhile, he realized just now that he had missed out on something else that was very important!

Thus, Kyle turned toward the three women that were simply looking at him.

"By the way, how were your exams, Yasmine, Selene? Weren't they yesterday?"

He needed Yasmine and Selene for the Ancestor's treasury.

Something told him that it would not be possible for him to reap everything he required.

His plans were big, and the others understood that as well.

In fact, their ideals and future plans were somewhat aligned with Kyle's.

As such, they could smile proudly.

"Of course, we passed! Even before the official result was announced, we were informed that we passed the exams and that we are allowed to Go to the ancient ruins of the ancestor's treasury!"

This was great, which caused Kyle to smiling before he said,

"That means we have around three days left to finish our preparations. It should be more than enough…"

Averting his attention to Beatrice, he couldn't help but feel a little bit complicated.

Her mood had plummeted at the thought of the others leaving for an unknown amount of time.

It could take them days, weeks, or even months before they would return.

Beatrice understood that it was only logical for them to give their best, but at the same time, she felt as if they left her behind.

And that even though it was just the dimension's restriction that held her back from entering the Ancestor's treasury!

It was nobody's fault at the end of the day, and Beatrice knew this, though, it didn't help her to feel any better!

Kyle understood her feelings, but it was not as if he would scrap his plans just because Beatrice felt a little bit unwilling.

He prepared more than enough blood conserves for her to last over a year as long as she preserved them properly.

Having bleed buckets of blood, in a literal sense, Kyle knew that he would do everything to give her the necessary comfort her body required, namely his blood.

However, that was already everything he could do for her because now was the time to finish their preparations to get the best possible result from entering the Ancestor's treasury.

With that in mind the remaining three days before the Ancestor's treasury opened passed in the blink of an eye.

More than 100 Lohars and almost 10 Cultivators of other races were allowed to enter it.

This was less than Kyle expected, but it was to his advantage.

After all, the fewer competitors, the easier it should be for him to reap more benefits.

Kyle took this into consideration as he advanced towards the large entrance hall of the Glory Knight academy.

Due to his sight of hues, it was possible for him to see that the majority was already present.

Thus, Kyle was not surprised when he heard that the Queen began to speak the moment they entered the room.

"Hello, my dear children! I am happy to stand in front of everyone, to open the Ancestor's treasury once again.

After several centuries I will finally open the gates to the Ancestor's treasury, I'm quite thrilled! That being said, I hope everyone will reap many benefits.

Some of you may even be able to go up against your fate, to transcend your destiny!

I don't want to waste everyone's time any further. After all, everyone should be eager to enter the Ancestor's treasury."

The Queen smiled brightly at everyone, clearly showing that she didn't discriminate between Lohars and the Cultivators of the other races that were present.

But it was just when she stopped speaking for a moment that she lifted her hand.

"However, even if everyone is eager, please let me give all of you a good-meant piece of advice!

The events you may face in the Ancestor's treasury are mostly real. There may be illusions and other means to distract the mind of the weak-willed, but other than that everything is real.

As such, even if you believe that you won't die inside the treasury, it is not unlikely for casualties to occur.

Some happenings might seem impossible, but believe me when I say that they're true.

Nobody will say something if you flee from fights, and even if someone tries to ridicule you for fleeing from specific fights, being alive is more important than anything!"

It looked like the Queen had a lot more to say, but she quieted down. The principal seemed to have intertwined as her primordial energy had been released.

This confused Kyle and the others quite a bit.

However, nobody said anything, just for the principal to step forward.

"Our beloved Queen wants only the best for you, all of you! As such, she wants to provide you with all the necessary information.

Unfortunately, she cannot say more, otherwise, it might be a little bit more difficult for you to survive inside the ancestor's treasury.

After all, the Ancestor's treasury sentience will scan your mind to figure out how much the lot of you know about it.

The more you know, the higher the difficulty to reach the deeper parts of the treasury will be.

All of you should focus on your own path, and not on the provided information that may have less value than you guys may expect. The treasury's sentience will adjust itself to challenge you in all possible ways, or not, who knows!"

Listening intently, Kyle couldn't help but frown deeply.

'Doesn't that mean the Ancestor's treasury is just like the Undead castle? Will I have to pass the same exams as before once again…please not…'

Even if it was not like Kyle had anything against repetitions, he really didn't like the fact that he had to enter a place similar to the Razkadan castle once again.

However, what Kyle didn't know was that the Razkadan castle and the Ancestor's treasury were two completely different things, with the treasury being far more dangerous, and less focused on testing individual traits of a being, but the Individual itself!

Kyle didn't hear the following speech of the principal and neither did the words of the Queen. She was occasionally staring at him to see his reaction.

It was as if she wanted to go over to him, and say something, to figure out who exactly her benefactor was.

But instead of rushing things, the Queen had already figured out that Kyle didn't really bother about his title as her benefactor.

He just wanted to be safe and sound in a kingdom that could treat him with discrimination.

His appearance as Aldra-lookalike was certainly not helpful for this.

As such, it had been solely for himself and his partners that he gifted the Queen the mutated Liscara flower seed!

The Queen knew that, and it was quite obvious when one took a closer look at the closeness with which he conversed with the two women that were next to him.

One of them was even a Lohar, the same Lohar the Queen heard about more than a year ago.

A slave-turned-noble.

This had garnered her interest from the beginning because her gut feeling told the Queen that she would be able to find a way to increase her natural cultivation talent, to finally break through.

Right now, her research seemed to be unnecessary because she received the mutated Liscara flower seed.

However, only the Queen knew that by connecting the dots, and being open-minded that literally, everything revolving around Kyle was anything but simple!
