SpiderGwen: I have a system?!-Chapter 227: Disappointingly Easy
[3rd POV]
As Gwen stood farther behind her Adeptus Custodes, she saw it. The reactions of the corrupted Primarchs, those who are technically her sons, even if they no longer were human. For they were created with the DNA of the Emperor of Mankind, and since he was now part of her being, so too was his DNA.
Glancing at her soldiers, those who had fought and died and killed in order to protect the Emperor-her corpse like body. She raised her hand in a simple gesture, as if she was giving them a high five, but instead, a golden energy burst from her palm.
The fallen primarchs could only watch in increasing hesitation and nervousness as the infantry that had been injured healed in what was practically an instant. The last space marine that was missing half of his limbs was returned to normal, as if he had never even been touched.
But it wasn’t just the living that had been healed...
Across the battlefield, every killed and dead Imperium soldier that had fallen to the forces of Chaos, began to rise once again, as if they had never died. Millions of soldiers began to stand tall once again, as the Daemon Princes realized that this was not a battle that they could win.
At least the smart ones thought this.
Even the gargantuan titans that stretched high into the skies began to repair themselves, the ground shaking as they rose back to their "feet" the soldiers within many of them being brought back, their metallic weapon of mass destruction being repaired with them.
The soldiers of the Imperium watched it all in awe, awe and worship as their Emperor turned Empress had returned after over ten thousand years. And it would seem that he, now she, had returned stronger than ever before. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Turning her gaze from the soldiers now resurrected, which was only possible thanks to this universe and its lack of...well, rules. It was easy to bend death and life in this place, and resurrecting someone was laughably easy. And ridding them of any corruption that may have touched their souls was also easy.
She was the God of Order now, and bringing order to someone’s soul wasn’t impossible for her. And being the God of Humans made that even easier, as she was now intricately connected with them on a fundamental level.
Gazing at the forces of Chaos, she noticed the Daemon Princes, the group of men all there in order to kill her. But now she could see their hesitation, she also noticed that Abaddon was not there, likely off-world making sure that the remaining primarchs did not reach the planet.
That would be a grave error on his part, as she looked over the millions of daemons upon her territory.
And for the first time in recorded history, the Empress (previously Emperor) began to open her mouth, for before this, they only ever spoke with their mind, never speaking outwardly, with their own voice.
"...Begone Chaos Scum" She spoke simply, with no hatred, no malice, no emotion. One moment she uttered these words, and the next...
They were gone.
No screams, no grunts, no fighting back. Every daemon on the planet that was not the daemon princes themselves or a greater daemon, was atomized in an instant. A burst of immense psychic energy coating the planet, imbued with other energies not from this universe, meshing with psychic energy to cleanse the planet of it’s corruption.
And in the next instant, the corpses all disappeared, unknowingly being absorbed by Gwen herself, their souls extinguished as she consumed them, ridding their attempts of corrupting her with laughable ease, as her spark grew ever so slightly.
The Daemon Princes could only falter as they went wide eyed, fear in their hearts for the first time in millennia. As the great force of billions of daemons had been obliterated without them even being able to react.
They didn’t and couldn’t know, but Gwen had utilized the Time Stone and Speed Force in tandem with her attack, making it seem as if it had happened all in an instant, when in actuality, she had wiped them from the Earth in...well, a little less than an instant.
Still faster than what they could even see, faster than they could react.
"What..." Magnus couldn’t help but mutter, true terror beginning to scrape at his daemonic heart, as he realized the situation they were now in. High in the skies of Terra, the ships of the Chaos faction all split in half, as explosions ripped throughout the skies, the Daemon Princes watching as each of their ships was absorbed by some sort of portal.
Gwen was once again absorbing the beings inside, the technology of note (through her symbiote) and then destroying the rest. Except for that which can actually be used by her, the corruption of chaos ripped from it beforehand.
"You have grown arrogant during the time in which I was shackled to my throne" Her voice echoed, deeper than usual, powerful, intimidating.
"It is that arrogance that shall be the downfall of your supposed Gods, your false idols of corruption and disorder. It is truly a shame what you have all become...a disappointment beyond my wildest imagination" Gwen spoke, as she took a single step, and reappeared in front of them.
In a moment of pure instinct, Angron’s blade swished through the chainaxe known as "Spinegrinder" threatening to connect with her form, only for her to glance at the blade, and watch as the blade quite literally fell apart in his hand, his second blade coming moments later, shattering as it connected with...nothing.
Gojo’s infinity had been an ability she had ignored for...a long time now. But she had to admit that it was a good ability to use at this time, and it had grown massively stronger the stronger she got.
"I have allowed you to continue on this path for too long. Been too merciful upon you. You may have been my sons long ago, but now you are just creatures of the Warp, and as all creatures of the warp...you shall be exterminated" Gwen spoke, her gaze turning cold as Angron roared, attempting to attack her with pure physical might.
Bad idea, considering she can lift planets at this point, probably even stars. And that was without using her boost ability.
So, the man could only roar in pain as she caught his arm, and with one brutal pull, his arm was ripped from it’s body. Before the Daemon Prince could even react, a backhand rippled against his cheek, and with that, came an end to Angron the Red Angel.
Not dying in the glory of battle. Not dying at the hands of an incredible foe. Not through blood and bone. But through a single, simple, mighty slap. His body disappearing just as the others, absorbed into Gwen’s being without so much as a look as she turned to the remaining Daemon Princes.
Now that she had absorbed the Emperor into her being, they were...bugs. The Daemon Princes were absolutely nothing to her, she could literally flick them to death at this point. They could not kill her, and they could not resist her. For she could destroy the very soul casually now.
And Magnus the Red had realized this, as he turned to Fulgrim.
"We must flee! This is not a battle we can win!" Magnus yelled, as he began to prepare to flee, but...he couldn’t. A strangled sound echoing at his side as Fulgrim joined his fellow Daemon Prince.
"Have the forces of Chaos grown weak? You all fall so...pitifully" Gwen said, as Mortarion and Perturabo fell like their brothers, without so much as a sound as the Empress of Mankind effortlessly extinguished their lives.
This left Lorgar, Magnus, and Abaddon. They were the three remaining members that were majorly important, that had to be killed. Magnus was in front of her, Lorgar was likely within the Eye of Terror, or fighting with Lion’El. And Abaddon was likely doing the same with the other of the remaining primarchs, Roboute.
"Do you have any last words before your death, child?" Gwen asked, as she gazed at Magnus, the man could not so much as move as he was held in place, the force weighing upon him. Her force powers had absolutely boomed in power, and she wasn’t even sure how strong she was in the force now.
Magnus could only stare at her form in silence, before grunting.
"Get it over with, I will not beg and I will not cry" Magnus spoke simply, as she glanced at him, before his head fell, his body disappearing like his brothers.
Glancing at the space that was now empty of Daemon forces, Gwen glanced back at the Imperium soldiers, who were all roaring in awe and exhilaration upon seeing their Empress effortlessly wipe out the entire force, dealing a crippling blow to the forces of Chaos.
And yet, Gwen couldn’t help but have one thought on her mind, as she experienced this all, and that was...
’How...disappointingly...easy’

That’s the end of the Chapter!
So I’ve got no idea how strong the Daemon Princes actually tend to be, but I imagine that a Emperor of Mankind at his peak would slaughter them with ease, when not holding back. And this is a Emperor of Mankind fused and assimilated, making all of his powers stronger than ever before (except within the Warp).
So yeah, Gwen won’t be struggling with any of them. It’ll be the big bosses themselves that will prove to be an actual challenge.
Anyways, have a good day!
