Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station-Chapter 404 - 145 Supreme Point_2
Moreover, the Supreme Point doesn’t really need those one-shot-kill missiles.
A simple output with the Speed Particle Spear is sufficient.
Other weapons are fine for self-protection.
And since such weapons are already installed, the armor of the Supreme Point can’t be too bad either.
This top-notch configuration even made Chen Ming couldn’t help but say, "Truly extravagant."
The boss, who still dressed as casually as before, happened to appear in front of Chen Ming at this moment and said, "A spaceship funded by the Association, so it definitely has to be well-prepared."
"Alright, just get on the ship directly, you can see whatever you want once you’re on board."
He waved his hand, indicating for Chen Ming to follow.
However, Chen Ming paused slightly and asked, "Aren’t we going into the Space Station?"
"No, it’s quite urgent, pursuing efficiency."
Chen Ming nodded slightly and said, "Then wait a moment, I have something to bring for you."
Chen Ming waved his hand, and two robots from the Water Buffalo Level followed by dragging a cart down from the spaceship.
On the cart were large transparent glass boxes, each about two meters square.
In fact, these were small observation boxes.
Inside were Dusk’s local specialties, the Energy Crystal Crabs.
This was something Chen Ming had specifically asked Radiant to select from the ecological breeding cabin.
There were two, one male and one female.
There were also two eggs, one male and one female as well, anyway, that’s how Dusk marked them on the eggs, so Chen Ming had Radiant pack them in as well.
The boss, who had never seen such a creature before, leaned close to the observation box and inspected them carefully.
After two minutes, he suddenly said, "These are nice, quite pretty."
"Not just pretty."
Chen Ming added, "The shell of these creatures is made of self-energy-storing material."
The boss showed a slight look of surprise, then a hint of surprise, and he lightly tapped on the glass of the observation box, asking Chen Ming, "You should have more than just these, right?"
"Yes, I seized an ecological breeding cabin and obtained the complete breeding technology."
The boss instantly understood Chen Ming’s thinking, praised him, and said, "Interesting, looks like you’ve thought a lot about the future development of the colony."
"Keep working hard, just having things is far from enough; you have to work hard yourself too."
"Of course."
The boss made a phone call and had someone come over to take the observation box away, then said to Chen Ming, "Alright, let’s go, get on the ship."
"What about my ship..."
"Just leave it here, it’s fine, don’t you trust me?"
"Of course I do."
The boss usually hides in the only shop on Space Arm No.2 to block trouble.
Selling cards and earning a little money.
Although Chen Ming didn’t think the boss could earn much this way, he figured it might just be some peculiar hobby, and he didn’t comment on it.
The boss usually doesn’t have much of a presence, but he still carries weight.
Now he was displaying his terrifying spiritual energy power to the entire Space Station, and once demanded to keep a Dusk Cruiser parked here.
There’s absolutely no problem.
Moreover, Chen Ming sensed that the boss had another reason for deliberately leaving the ship here.
The most apparent reason is that the boss wanted to announce his return through the arrival of a Dusk Cruiser evidently controlled by someone.
His rumors were known by many when the Fourteenth Legion initiated a surprising attack on Dusk some time ago.
Although, because it was claimed that he, the main character of the events at the time, had died, many people had already forgotten about this matter.
But now that Chen Ming wasn’t dead, everything was completely different.
Everyone would remember him, would recognize him.
This fact was already becoming apparent now.
At the Cruiser’s dock, there was a special entrance for quickly entering the Space Station.
Yet, Chen Ming could still see the crowd at the neighboring small ship dock growing larger.
Most of them crowded at the door of the space arm, staring at this ship.
At the same time, they were sharing what they knew with those around who knew nothing.
Spreading the events that had occurred in the past.
And this would reach the ears of those in the Battle Zone in a while, if not already.
This wasn’t to put Chen Ming in jeopardy but to protect him.
The more people know that Chen Ming possesses the ability to end Dusk’s existence, the safer he becomes.
Chen Ming glanced at the crowd in the hallway beside him and then looked away.
He signaled the robots to follow him as he trailed behind the boss.
Chen Ming walked alongside the boss and casually said, "I feel like since I came back, the factory director and Old Wu will be busy in the next two days."
The boss chuckled.
He also noticed the gradually surging crowd at the entrance of the space arm, but this was exactly the effect he wanted.
He guided Chen Ming around and brought him to another ship’s dock.
When the Supreme Point was close enough for Chen Ming to almost reach out and touch it, Chen Ming once again realized just how enormous a kilometer-class ship truly was.
And he, a single person, could control three such ships.
Under the boss’s guidance, Chen Ming boarded the ship from the Supreme Point’s head.
The interior environment of the Supreme Point was somewhat similar to the lab where Chen Ming had previously stayed.
And like the lab, it was predominantly white in color, not exactly welcoming but quite comfortable.
However, the numerous passageways and the occasionally exposed internal cooling pipes still allowed one to tell that this was a ship, and not purely a lab.
Chen Ming placed his hand on the hull of the ship, but he didn’t dare to control this new cruiser yet.
