His first steps in this world were cautious but deliberate. After integrating his new body's memories, he discovered a dungeon forming beneath his apartment building, a potential disaster waiting to happen. He reported it to the Hunter Association, earning a financial reward that provided him with temporary security. Recognizing that the world operated on power and survival, Adam devised a long-term plan: before awakening as a Hunter, he would push his body to its peak, ensuring he had a foundation strong enough to wield immense power.

He began an intense self-reconstruction training process using Awà, enduring brutal cycles of controlled destruction and healing to reach the pinnacle of unawakened human dna. At the same time, he immersed himself in technology, cybersecurity, and programming, developing a custom operating system and a secretive digital network called NanoNet, designed to serve as a foundation for future influence.

The more he observed the Hunter world, the more he realized its flaws. Awakening was not a purely random event, and Awà could force it through exposure to Essence Stones. With this knowledge, Adam set his sights on acquiring such a stone, leading him to Rome's Grand Auction, a gathering of the country wealthiest and most powerful humans.

Initially seeking an S-Rank Essence Stone, he adapted when only an A-Rank Giant's Essence Stone was available, wanting to secure it through an offer of miraculous healing. However, a young master won the bid forcing Adam to steal it, but when he teleported to the stone, an S-Rank assassin named Venin attempted to kill him, aiming to eliminate Adam before he could awaken.

But it was already too late. The moment Adam touched the Essence Stone, his perfect preparation allowed him to awaken directly to the pinnacle of A-Rank flawlessly or an Half-Step S-Rank. Unlike most Hunters, who struggled to control their first surge of mana, Adam integrated it easily, displaying terrifying mastery.

His abilities manifested with Space and Healing affinity, and with his knowledge he could reverse the effects of his attacks, thus gaining the Decay affinity that forced Venin to amputate his own finger. Instead of merely surviving the attack, Adam used the moment to shape his identity, declaring himself "The Saint", a name that would echo throughout the Hunter world. As the auction hall reeled from his display of power, a new challenger appeared: a massive Russian Hunter, signaling that Venin had allies.
