Slowly Falling into His Love Trap-Chapter 48:
"I’m sorry," Evelyn mumbled softly. "I didn’t mean to."
Then, she raised her voice again: "It’s because you suddenly kissed me without any reason..."
Seeing the wild anger on his face, she could only obediently shut her mouth.
Obviously she was wronged, but in the end, she was like a little rabbit, unable to do anything.
Evelyn was truly frustrated, but knowing her own weakness, she could only hide this frustration in her heart to avoid stirring up more trouble.
Seeing Evelyn’s apparent vulnerability, Caden Lockwood was satisfied, his mood lifting immensely.
"Today I realized, durian is actually quite tasty," he casually said something that left her speechless with embarrassment.
Unable to even look at him, Evelyn hid her entire face under the bedding, urgently saying, "Uncle, please let my companion bring me my clothes!"
If she stayed with him any longer, she might not go crazy, but she’d definitely lose her mind.
Looking at that small bundle under the bedding, Caden Lockwood softly, in a deep voice, said, "What if I don’t?"
What if he wanted to take advantage of this opportunity,
Evelyn was utterly flustered, pulling back the covers to reveal her bright, wide eyes, pitifully whispering, "Help... help me..."
Her gaze was clear and pure, lying there like a sacred thing newly arrived in the world, making one unable to tarnish.
Caden’s heart felt like something was scratching at it, his physical reactions growing stronger, his mouth dry and tongue scorched, drinking any amount of water couldn’t quench it, needing something sweet to extinguish the fire within him.
His Adam’s apple moved up and down, sliding into a sexy curve.
Caden couldn’t help holding Evelyn’s cheeks, the warmth in his palms stimulating her face, his deep black eyes reflecting two tiny images of her, so beautiful, so enchanting, drawing him closer.
Evelyn’s body was stiff, under Caden’s gaze, she didn’t dare to move, even her breathing became tense, her eyes trembling, wary of his approach.
She sensed a pure danger targeted at her, her heart pounding wildly, watching this man who was already so close draw even nearer, her hands clenched tight.
Her mind repeatedly exploded in chaos, stopping all other disorganized thoughts, focusing solely on one question: How to escape him!
Strangely, her hands and feet weren’t bound, why was it she couldn’t even move?
"Erin Morgan." Caden’s voice spilled from his lips and teeth, deep and rich like a keg of fine wine, mesmerizing.
His gaze grew ever softer, carrying a powerful and irresistibly aggressive force, smashing her thoughts of escape.
"You were born to be my woman." His tone was so domineering it was like reading the history of her life.
Hearing this, Evelyn’s lips twitched awkwardly, her whole face stiffly twitching.
If she couldn’t understand this expression of love, then she really would be an idiot!
But, with so many women outside, why did he have to seek her when he needed someone?
His profession was sleeping with women, did he actually have the desire to sleep with women outside of his profession?
What was he made of?
Wasn’t he tired?
What was even more infuriating, he clearly only needed it physically yet showed a look of deep emotion, one had to say, he was truly asking for a beating.
In his heart, what exactly did he take her for?
"Uncle!" Anger flared in her eyes, she glared at him unreservedly, "I’m not someone who will indulge with you!"
