The notorious reputation of Jiu Defense Company once again rose in Chapala City, where private military contractors congregate.

Everyone is just trying to make a living, seeing each other frequently, so how could they be so disrespectful? Do they think others don't have a backing?

Some private military contractors even have the backing of minor sovereignties, but once it involves the sovereignty level, no sovereignty is willing to openly provoke the tyrant Chen Fei over such a trivial matter and end up getting themselves into a bloody mess.

Haven't they seen how the sovereignty of the Desert Peninsula is currently being targeted, suffering a great loss in military strength? No one wants to be the next.

Because Hanna Gagel has the support of Chen Fei, the second-largest shareholder of Jiu Defense Company, with no more worries, she quickly gathered intelligence about Longinus.

On the South Continent, there's a small sovereignty called Tuiana, which should actually not be considered small, as it merged with its neighboring sovereignties a decade ago, restoring its original name Tuiana. Based on its territory and population, it's barely considered a medium-small sovereignty.

Of course, it's still extremely poor.

After all, the Federation of America on the North Continent naturally exerts an "economic siphon effect" on the surrounding sovereignties, resulting in a power dynamic of one strong and many weak across both continents of America.

The merged Tuiana barely took shape, and as such, successfully applied for a Longinus to establish a "Dimensional Gate" to expand its trade routes.

The "Dimensional Gate" not only connects to Cangqiong Star but can also interface with other "Dimensional Gates" on Blue Star. Coupled with the large-capacity Space System Alchemy Storage Devices, it enables efficient and low-cost material transportation far exceeding any conventional means. Possessing a "Dimensional Gate" signifies a catalyst for industrial and commercial development, and Tuiana has greatly benefited from this, earning substantial profits.

However, even immense profits can't satisfy everyone, and while some feast, others remain discontent with what they've received or seen. The factions within Tuiana, which hasn't been fully integrated even after a decade, saw a warlord's impulsive decision to rise and demand a larger share, throwing Tuiana into immediate turmoil after barely a decade of stability.

The loss of Tuiana's Longinus is not directly tied to this warlord. The warlord merely wanted more benefits, without any intention of destroying everyone's livelihood. If the "Dimensional Gate" couldn't function, what would he have to gain from his chaos?

But when he revolted, the ensuing unrest also affected the normal defense of the "Dimensional Gate." According to the agreement between Blue Star and Cangqiong Star, the Blue Star side of the "Dimensional Gate" should be guarded by the stationed forces of the Silan Dynasty on Cangqiong Star. However, both parties are currently at odds, with some "Dimensional Gates" in a cold standoff and others experiencing small-scale skirmishes, leading to chaotic situations everywhere.

Tuiana's "Dimensional Gate" was not defended by the Silan Dynasty's forces but by Tuiana's national defense forces. When the warlord's turmoil erupted, rumors ran rampant, flags changed rapidly, and multiple skirmishes occurred, resulting in several casualties. The inexperienced "Dimensional Gate" guards quickly became tense like facing a formidable enemy. Amid the chaos, some culprit stole the Longinus from the ring of the "Dimensional Gate" without anyone noticing.

Surveillance video revealed three suspects, seemingly minors, sneaking into the "Dimensional Gate" defense zone through loopholes in the guards' defenses.

This kind of elementary mistake is simply unforgivable.

Then, because of the prolonged turmoil caused by the warlord, even after belatedly discovering the loss of the Longinus from the "Dimensional Gate," the internal conflicts and constraints within Tuiana's sovereignty left them without capable personnel to investigate the whereabouts.

Tuiana's police, on the other hand, were effective, braving the risks of unrest and danger in the streets to investigate the "Dimensional Gate" scene and began tracking down the whereabouts of Longinus.

Considerable effort was expended, and several officers were attacked during the investigation, with some sacrificing their lives. Tuiana's police finally succeeded in tracking down the whereabouts of the three suspects, albeit a step or perhaps several steps too late.

The three suspects were bratty minors, the oldest being 12 and the youngest only 9, known locally as mischievous monkeys. When the police found them, they discovered that the families of the three were all mysteriously deceased. Inside one of the homes, the walls were covered with numerous holes suspected to be caused by the brats using Longinus to physically demolish the house, as the rebar inside the walls had been sharply cut with unusually smooth surfaces.

A total of over twenty people, including the minor suspects and their three families, died with unknown causes. Their bodies showed no external injuries, with only a few showing expressions of shock or panic on their faces. The rest appeared mostly confused, or in states not of panic, passing away without any apparent causes.

Based on the investigation and analysis by the police, one of the three minor suspects might have awakened a special ability, giving them control over electrical currents within a certain range. Numerous burned electronic devices due to overload were found in their homes, with most large appliances being recent purchases. This special ability was matched with the inexplicable electrical overvoltage and burnouts discovered in the "Dimensional Gate" defense zone. Otherwise, a place guarded by heavily armed adults and automatic surveillance systems wouldn't have so easily allowed three brats to sneak in and commit theft.

Including the suspects, the families of the three died uniformly, and the Longinus that supposedly appeared remained missing, likely taken by a gang with an ability user, who took the Longinus and silenced witnesses, escalating the case from what seemed an accidental theft.

The related intelligence obtained by Boss Hanna was identical to the police case records and even richer in detail compared to the high-level confidential reports submitted to the Blue Star Global United Defense Committee.

"Miyoshi, what do you think?"

Chen Fei forwarded the intelligence obtained from Boss Hanna to Miyoshi Xuesen.

When it comes to sneaky, underhanded acts, this monk is absolutely professional. His knowledge of criminal organizations and powers is unparalleled within the Blue Star Global United Defense Committee.

"Longinus can establish secret passages. I think some criminal organizations would like such an item, and considering it got lost from a sovereignty, it's probably still on the South Continent." Miyoshi Xuesen contemplated and speculated:
