Skill Extraction: Exploring Dungeons-Chapter 593 - 525 Fully Joined Moon’s Child_2
Kane looked at the over 100 Moon’s Children behind him and realized that the promotion process would take quite a long time, and doing it here would draw too much attention.
With this in mind, Kane said to Sara, who was experiencing her new powers, "Why not have your clan join my guild first? I’ll lead you to a more secluded place for promotion."
Upon hearing Kane’s suggestion, Sara nodded, "I’ll leave it all to you, Lord Kane."
Kane nodded back and proceeded to have all the Moon’s Children join the guild one by one under the organization of Sara and Mo Yi.
He then handed over the Guild Seal Device to Mo Yi, allowing her to handle the stamping process.
This sped up the process considerably, and soon, all the Moon’s Children had joined Kane’s guild.
What followed was a large group of Moon’s Children struggling to control the new powers they had gained, as the guild’s attribute bonuses were a bit too prominent for their current bodies.
They accidentally shattered wooden boards and other fragile objects around them.
Even Mo Yi hadn’t fully mastered her newfound strength in the past few days.
Seeing this large group of little girls causing various unintentional damages and their panicked expressions,
there was even some noise and faint sobbing around.
Kane decided to bring them all into the Lantern Knight Order.
The Lantern Knight Order’s residence had a large training ground, so Abby could train this group of Moon’s Children. At least they needed to be able to normally control their own powers, otherwise, these little girls would find even daily life inconvenient.
Kane then taught them how to enter the Guild Hall.
Under Kane’s guidance, the Moon’s Children disappeared one by one into the open space.
Watching the Moon’s Children continually teleporting away, Kane turned to Pedi and Steel Armor behind him.
"You guys go on with your own tasks for now. I’ll come find you once I’m done here."
With those words, Kane vanished from the spot.
[Bond with Pedi Linked]
Kane kept his promise and accomplished what he said he would, and Pedi, in turn, pledged loyalty to Kane.
When Kane entered the space, he saw all the members in the Guild Hall turning their gazes towards the large group of young girls around him.
This large group of young girls, none of whom looked older than 10, was truly attention-grabbing.
Kreya and the others didn’t immediately leave the guild either. Upon seeing this scene, they rushed over, as did Burton and Adoma.
Looking at the young girls surrounded by a curious gaze from the crowd in the guild, they huddled together tightly, appearing panicked and unsure.
Kane quickly said, "Disperse for now, and I’ll explain later. They are new members of the guild and are a bit shy."
With that, he led the Moon’s Children into the neighboring Knight Order residency.
This place was much larger than the Guild Hall and relatively quieter.
Just then, a little girl beside Kane started to wipe tears from her eyes.
Picking her up, Kane comforted her, "It’s okay, Winnie, don’t be afraid. They are all companions, not those who would bully you."
This little girl was the youngest among the Moon’s Children and one of the first to form a bond with Kane.
Though she appeared to be only seven or eight years old, she was actually just 11.
At this point, some members of the Knight Order had noticed Kane’s arrival and immediately came over.
"Officer Cain, who are these little girls?"
Abby looked at the large group of young girls surrounding Kane, appearing somewhat bewildered. This was the Knight Order residence, after all, and non-members were not allowed entry.
Being able to enter implied that these young girls were also members, although Abby was hesitant to believe this, unable to wrap his head around it.
Kane gestured for silence, "Wait for a bit on the side."
Then, he addressed the Moon’s Children in front of him, "This place is quite safe and quiet. Let’s proceed with the promotion now and have you return to the forms of your original race."
Their longing for their original forms overwhelmed their underlying panic for the moment.
Suddenly, waves of light flickered forth and repeated twice.
All the Moon’s Children then successfully resumed their original forms.
Indeed, apart from Mo Yi and Sara’s professions, there were additional ones.
[Moon Warrior] (A close-combat magic profession that only Moon’s Children can hold, controlling the magic power of the moon.)
[Moon Healer] (A healing profession that only Moon’s Children can hold, controlling the magic power of the moon.) 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
Thus, the four professions that the Moon’s Children, as a race, naturally possessed manifested fully.
Covering magic close-combat, magic ranged, healing, and support.
The unexperienced ones, however, had experienced the support profession through Mo Yi.
With attribute bonuses, as well as physical and magic resistance, it certainly made for a very comprehensive support profession.
Kane subsequently introduced Abby to the Moon’s Children as their temporary instructor.
Then Abby took the Moon’s Children on a tour of the Knight Residence.
This attracted quite a few gazes from surrounding Knight Order members.
Through this tour, the Moon’s Children finally settled their timid emotions somewhat.
Kane then brought them back to the Guild Hall.
"Adoma!"
"Here, here."
Upon arrival, Adoma skipped over Kane and naturally began performing her task of introducing new members to the guild.
With Mo Yi and the Moon’s Children at her side, she began describing the various functions of the guild.
With Mo Yi’s help and Adoma’s personality, she quickly integrated into the Moon’s Children group.
This finally allowed the Moon’s Children to lower their defenses a bit regarding the guild.
Behind Adoma followed a large group of young girls, making it seem as if she were a teacher at a school.
Watching Adoma lead the Moon’s Children into the space of the Spring of Rebirth, Kane could finally sit quietly at the bar.
After wiping the imaginary sweat off his brow, he let out a sigh.
Kane finally experienced the fearsome challenge of taking care of children; one or two were manageable, but a group of over a hundred young girls nearly overwhelmed him.
Especially when touring the Knight Residence, they asked all sorts of bizarre questions and inexplicably shed tears.
It was utterly exhausting.
Feeling a pair of hands massage his temples from behind,
Kane turned to see Kreya there.
"Old buddy, tell us what’s going on with this crowd of little girls?" Longbei asked from the side.
Upon hearing Longbei’s words, Kane began to explain to his teammates about the situation with the Moon’s Children.
After hearing the whole story, Kane once again received a peculiar look from Burton, "Why do you always encounter these strange situations?"
How was I supposed to know?
