Sixth Ring Wizard-Chapter 704: Butterfly
Herag estimated that such a large piece of the Heart of the Insect Race would be enough for him to absorb for many years.
The Heart of the Insect Race is a highly concentrated form of Mother River Power, with an extremely high energy density, not something that can be absorbed in a short time.
Herag and the other two continued searching the broken nest for a while but, finding nothing else of value, left the nest.
"We need to leave here quickly; the commotion here is likely to have spread to other Star Realms," said the Thousand-Eyed Ancestor.
Though the Thousand-Eyed Ancestor could easily destroy an Eighth-Level Race, he still preferred not to encounter other Insect Race groups.
If they got entangled with multiple Ninth-Level Races, they would have no choice but to retreat.
The Cyan Armor Star Realm's complete annihilation would inevitably cause a sensation in the surrounding areas.
Herag and his group quickly left the Cyan Armor Star Realm and slightly slowed down only after entering another chaotic Star Realm.
...
In the Endless Universe.
Herag absorbed the Bloodline Power he obtained earlier while on the move.
"Perception Threads: Can be integrated into the world's Rule within a certain area to sense surroundings and accelerate movement speed."
Upon acquiring this Talent Ability, Herag instantly understood how they were exposed and why the Cyan Beetle Swarm moved so fast.
This Talent Ability, Perception Threads, can create a very special kind of thread that can be embedded into the world's Rule.
This Talent Ability is more suited for use in places like bases; its practical combat significance is minimal, mainly serving a supplementary purpose.
Besides the Talent Ability Perception Threads, Herag also sensed the royal Bloodline Power of the Cyan Beetle Race.
After absorbing the Bloodline Power of the Cyan Beetle Race, it also integrated into Herag's Bloodline Mark.
Herag felt somewhat strange that the Bloodline Power of the Cyan Beetle Race seemed weak, even weaker than that of the Elf Royal Family.
However, the Bloodline Power of the Cyan Beetle Race should originate from a Ninth-Level Insect Race, so it shouldn't be so weak.
Herag thought about it, feeling it might be related to the characteristics of the Insect Race.
Solely possessing such Bloodline Power isn't strong, but combined with the power of the entire Insect Race, it becomes different.
Countless insectoids would obey the king's command and serve the king, making the effect different.
Herag merely absorbed the Bloodline Power, so it didn't feel particularly strong.
After advancing in the universe for over a month, the distance to the Toad's sensed position grew closer, and the surrounding situation began to change.
The past month had been peaceful.
Aside from some floating dust and rotating planets and stars, they hadn't encountered other Insect Races.
The events in the Cyan Armor Star Realm were surely discovered by other insectoids, but Herag and his group left timely, so they weren't discovered by those insectoids.
However, Herag and the group remained cautious, as nobody knew if those insectoids had special tracking methods.
Now very close to the Toad's sensed position, signs of insectoid activity became visible in the surroundings, indicating they likely entered a gathering area of an Insect Race group.
Herag and the other two temporarily landed on a planet, not hurrying to advance.
After the experience of the Cyan Armor Star Realm, they were even more cautious now, ensuring no detection methods were around before proceeding.
While they were resting briefly, the Thousand-Eyed Ancestor suddenly said, "Someone is coming."
Simultaneously, the Toad's expression turned strange as he spoke, "My body seems to be very close..."
Herag looked up and found insectoid swarms approaching from all directions.
These insectoids looked like butterfly insectoids, all having butterfly-like wings, but with humanoid bodies.
These insectoids appeared more human-like, with many even appearing as handsome men and beautiful women, very attractive.
Herag became serious, sensing unusual vibes from these insectoids, with numerous Level 7 Legendary Lives, almost in formation.
Their strength far surpassed that of the Cyan Beetle Race and clearly belonged to a Ninth-Level Race. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Herag was unsure when they were exposed and couldn't detect when the other side began encircling them.
Even the Thousand-Eyed Ancestor didn't notice, indicating the other side had special means to hide their tracks.
From the encirclement's range, the other side likely discovered them early and began planning.
Though Herag's group seemingly didn't encounter insectoids, they unknowingly entered the other side's encirclement.
Now, the other side closed in, completing the encirclement.
Oddly, Herag didn't sense any killing intent from them, entirely different from the Cyan Beetle Race.
These insectoids seemed not to be in combat mode, dressed like attending a grand event.
Aside from some butterflies wearing armor and wielding weapons, many butterflies carried no arms.
"My beloved, you have finally arrived." A woman's voice came from the depths of the universe.
Herag and the other two turned their gaze toward the voice, seeing a woman's figure emerge amid numerous butterfly insectoids.
The woman had a graceful shape, impeccable figure, and very beautiful visage, with massive, colorful butterfly wings on her back, stunningly striking.
Herag looked at this beautiful butterfly, feeling only apprehension.
For he sensed the same vibe from this woman as from the Thousand-Eyed Ancestor, a vibe unique to Ninth-level Life.
This was a Ninth-Level Insect Race Demon.
"Who is the beloved?" Herag wondered.
The Butterfly Queen's words left Herag puzzled; suddenly surrounded by this group of butterflies, the other side showed no malice.
And the opening line surprised Herag.
With unclear circumstances, Herag and his group refrained from rash actions.
Herag purposely used eye contact to stop the Thousand-Eyed Ancestor's intent to act.
The other side hadn't made a move yet, so it was unwise to act first.
After all, their objective wasn't fighting or looting but aiding the Toad in retrieving his body.
These butterflies showed no apparent malice, so they'd observe calmly.
Soon, the Butterfly Queen landed on the planet, her bare feet on the ground, walking over slowly.
The Butterfly Queen's gaze remained on Herag, more precisely, focused on the Toad on Herag's shoulder.
"My beloved, finally, I get to meet you." The Butterfly Queen gently said, looking very affectionately at the Toad.
