Sinner System-Chapter 561: Demon Lord Vaszel Vos Kealfaos (Part 5)
Point-of-View: Vaszel Vos Kealfaos
———————————————————————————
I cracked my neck and composed myself, before glancing to my right as Jaden Xeno launched himself up into the air, before blasting himself straight towards me, drawing back his right fist.
I weaved back through the air as his whips came zipping out towards me, evading their grasp, before swiftly shooting forward, his eyes widening slightly before he drove his fist towards my face.
I tilted my head across, his fist whizzing past my left cheek, before I dropped Dimension Breaker and rapidly reached up, grabbing his forearm before chanting as his whips shot in towards either side of me...
"<Demonic Art: Alchemy>."
He let out an excruciating yell of pain as his forearm erupted, bits of flesh and splintered bone shards flying out as a thick crimson mist billowed out.
I shifted the state of his blood from liquid to gas, that is the power of my Alchemy Skill. I can change the states of most matter between solid, liquid and gas, as well as manipulate the shape and density of objects, by making direct physical contact once I activate the Skill.
As I drove my spear towards him, he gritted his teeth and unleashed a telekinetic shockwave right as the tip of my blade began to nick his skin over the front of his neck, pushing me back several meters through the air.
He swiftly retreated towards the Healer as Raixel and the Dark Elf appeared by either side of me and lunged in simultaneously.
I flew back to evade them, before raising my left hand and taking aim at the Dark Elf as the two of them began to chase after me, chanting...
"<Demonic Art: Disintegration>."
A ray of bright white energy burst out of my left hand, the left half of the Dark Elf’s torso getting erased in the blink of an eye as he veered across to the right and narrowly avoided a direct hit, before I thrust my spear forward and plunged in into the middle of Raixel’s chest, giving the blade a sharp twist before unleashing a powerful burst of Negative Energy to blow the two of them away.
Disintegration, my most destructive ability, it casts white energy that wipes out everything in its path, with the exception of Personalis Arma. I cannot fire it in quick succession, but even so, it is almost completely unblockable, and-...
"Two can play at that game. <Obliterate>," Kaivel Intrix’s voice rang out behind me, right as a bright flash of purple erupted.
I shot across to my left as fast as I could, before staring down at myself as my entire torso got wiped out, my legs plummeting down and hitting the ground with thuds, my head floating in the air by itself.
He shot forward and slashed down at my head with his blade, splitting my skull open and slicing my head in half.
As he began to unfurl a horizontal swing of his blade, I triggered a burst of Negative Energy, pushing him back a few meters, before he lunged forward again, but I’d bought enough time.
The right half of my head plummeted as I regenerated from the left rapidly, spinning around as most of my body grew back, before veering back as a pair of petrifying beams came shooting up towards me.
I evaded the beams before firing out a blast of Disintegration towards Kaivel Intrix, wiping out his left arm as he shot across to his right, before manifesting a wall of Reflection in front of myself as he fired out a concentrated blast of Negative Energy, shooting it straight back towards him.
He managed to block it with his blade, but the force pushed him several meters back through the air, before I flew across the air as several explosions came shooting up towards me, my pair of Personalis Arma flying back towards me as I recalled them.
As I swerved past a pillar, loud explosions ringing out as some of the projectiles collided against it, Ariella Velle suddenly appeared in my line, driving her right fist towards my head.
I whipped Dimension Breaker across, striking her wrist and diverting the trajectory of her punch, before driving my spear towards her chest.
The blade plunged into the right side of her chest as she twisted her body across, before an intense fiery burst erupted and blew me away, my blade getting wrenched out of her flesh.
I shifted my gaze down as more explosive projectiles came shooting towards me, before swooping down towards Ciel Campbell.
Suddenly, as I began to close in, a pair of hands appeared out of her shadow, eliciting a startled cry from her before dragging her into the shadows, her head vanishing right as I closed in.
Tch, how annoying-...no, wait. This is an opportunity...
I shifted my trajectory, triggering an intense burst of Negative Energy from the soles of my feet, and propelled myself...straight towards the Healer, who was effectively unprotected, only the weaker among Kaivel Intrix’s undead summons standing guard around him.
As the humans rushed in to intercept me, I activated Alchemy as I dragged the tip of my tail across the ground, waves of spikes rising up across either side of me and spreading out rapidly.
As the weaker undead forces gathered in front of the Healer, I smirked as I unleashed a rapid wave of Disintegration, wiping them out, the Healer stumbling back in alarm.
Hands extended out of his shadow and began to pull him down in a frantic rush, the Healer chanting as I closed in and whipped my spear across...
"[Anti-Healing]!"
His palm came into contact with the middle of my chest, a sharp pain erupting upon contact...right as my blade sliced right through his neck, decapitating him.
Blood sprayed out as his head fell off, hitting the ground with a thud as his headless corpse disappeared into the shadows.
The skin and flesh over the front of my chest had ruptured and degenerated, my regeneration around that spot is unstable, it feels like it will take a few minutes before it heals properly. And it is also quite painful.
"Well, now...that attack, it had the potential to be a serious threat to me, even with my Immortality. But emphasis on ’had’, it is no longer in the equation. And now, those of you who do not possess the ability to regenerate are, as you humans say...screwed," I smirked, before lifting my foot and stomping on the Healer’s severed head, a loud, squelching crunch ringing out as I crushed it to a bloody pulp...
