I quickly spun across as Kanine shot towards, her claws slicing through my left side, before a couple of her claws got blown off from the force of the fiery burst upon impact, the Monster wincing slightly as her fingers trembled in pain.
I turned around as she slipped behind me, triggering a burst of Negative Energy as she leapt forward, but the force of her leap was stronger than the force generated by the Negative Energy burst, which only slowed her down slightly.
Her claws cut across my right bicep as I tilted my body to the left, before she fired out a sharp howl as she swung her jaws open, dazing me as I got sent flying back.
I skidded across the sand and came to a sliding halt, before scrambling back up onto my feet and shuffling across to my right as she fired off several slashing waves from her claws.
I gritted my teeth with a stifled hiss of pain as her slashes cut through my left bicep deeply, my arm slumping and hanging on by a thread, as she raced towards me at full speed.
She fired out a sharp, deafening burst of sound from her mouth as she closed in, my vision blurring sharply as her attack dazed me.
As my head spun and my ears rang, I sprang back and unleashed a blast of Negative Energy at the ground in front of me, kicking up cloud of sand and taking a couple of steps back.
"It is over," She uttered as she leapt through the dust cloud, her claws poised to strike, right as I chanted...
"[Blaze Ignition: Supernova]!"
Her eyes widened as I lunged forward, the fiery glow around me intensifying sharply as flames erupted and wrapped around my entire body.
She snarled in pain as I grabbed her right wrist, a intense fiery burst erupting and snapping the bones in her wrist with a sharp crunch.
I drove my right fist forward at full power, generating my Super Accel Flame Lance Skill, with Negative Energy and crimson flames swirling around it.
She raised her left arm up as fast as she could while twisting her body across, a deafening roar of pain ringing out as my attack collided against the middle of her left arm with devastating force.
Her arm got blasted off upon impact, my arm driving forward and striking the right side of her body, a fierce, destructive burst erupting and bursting through, as I punched most of the flesh over the right side of her torso to pieces. Her arm fell off, hitting the ground with a thud as she got blown away at a breakneck speed, hurtling back through the space before slamming onto the barrier with a sharp gasp.
I glanced down as my feet began to sink, the heat I was generating melting the sand into a glowing, gloopy molten puddle.
I can only maintain Blaze Ignition: Supernova for about twenty seconds, so...I’ll go all out and end this in one shot!
As I shot towards her, she scrambled back onto her feet and raced away while still in the process of regenerating about a third of her torso, leaping across as I launched myself towards her with an intense burst of heat from my heels, narrowly avoiding me.
She began to scramble further away, before swerving across as I swung my arm in her direction and fired out a rapid fiery slash, before unleashing a drilling blast of flames and Negative Energy towards her as she narrowly avoided the slash.
She gritted her teeth and braced herself as my blast closed in on her, colliding against the middle of her chest with a sharp crunch, caving in her ribcage as she got sent flying back with a sharp gasp of pain, blood pouring out of her mouth.
As her back slammed against the barrier, I launched myself up into the air with a powerful, pressurized burst of flames and Negative Energy from my feet, with about five seconds left with Blaze Ignition: Supernova.
She scrambled back up as she regenerated, her gaze locked onto me, her body tense as she waited to react to my next move.
"[Descent]," I chanted as I blasted myself down towards her, putting on a sharp burst of speed as I flapped my wings powerfully, flames and Negative Energy swirling around my right fist as I closed in on her in the blink of an eye, faster than she was expecting.
"Wha-...?!" She began in shock, before letting out an excruciating roar of pain as I slammed my fist against the middle of her torso, bursting through her skin and flesh before colliding against her Core.
She shuddered in agony as I felt her Core shatter, before stepping back as she collapsed onto her knees, right as Blaze Ignition: Supernova reached its time limit and wore off. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
I quickly deactivated Descent as well, reverting to my base form with a slow exhale.
"I-I...I see. You were holding back, you had me fooled right from the start...what a shame, I...I really wanted to...experience...everything...this world...has to...offer...," She muttered, her eyes rolling back as she fell over and hit the ground with a soft thud.
Her gloves began glowing, before falling off her hands and reverting to a metal rod. No doubt about it, she’s definitely dead.
Alright, that takes care of that, I-...huh?

"Kai!" I called out as the barrier faded, a bewildered look on his face, before he snapped out of it and rushed over.
"Not sure what just happened, but I’m not about to let this go to waste...<Subjugate>. <Submit Your Soul To Me, Pledge Your Undying Loyalty And Heed My Every Command>. <Now, Awaken, Apostle of Greed>," He chanted, a burst of energy erupting around Kanine’s corpse, before taking shape.
Is it because of my link with Kai? It was a bit faint, but I definitely heard Ai’s voice clearly enough. This could be a game changer...
