Sinner System-Chapter 523: Final Dungeon - Third Floor (Part 6)

Venom seized up as lightning erupted around me again, electrifying the muddy space within the ring of pillars, before I took a step forward.

This gash on my left shoulder is pretty deep, but I can still move my arm. But between the pain and the now-rapidly accumulating damage of both the poison and my own Lightning Boost Spell, I’m not going to last much longer.

What little strength I’ve got left, I...I have to make it count.

I shot forward as I coughed out blood, doing my best to ignore the pain before firing out a wide, drilling blast of lightning towards him.

He shuffled across to his right as fast as he could, snarling in pain as my blast engulfed his left forearm and vaporized it, a bright flash bursting out upon impact.

As his arm crumbled to ash, he fired out intense gusts of poison from all six of his mouths as his arm began to regenerate.

I held my breath as I leapt through the clouds of poison and drove my blade towards the middle of his torso, before my eyes widened as he caught my blade before it could reach him.

He let out a stuttering cry of pain as the lightning around my blade severely electrocuted him, charring his hand before he shakily whipped his arm across, hurling me away.

I hit the ground with a splat and skidded across, before scrambling back onto my feet and sprinting towards him with all the speed I could generate, firing out a barrage of lightning bolts at him.

A few of them struck him as he stiffly moved out of the way, charred spots all over his shell and arms, before he spewed out more poison smoke from his mouths, but these clouds weren’t as dense at the previous ones.

I unleashed a blinding electric flash from my staff as I closed in and thrust my blade towards his Core as I closed in, before one of his heads zipped down and snapped its jaws, sinking its fangs into my forearm before jerking across as my blade closed in on the middle of his body.

My blade grazed his left side as he yanked it away from his Core, before driving his right arm forward as I raised my staff, lightning charged into it.

His claws pierced my shoulder and tore through my skin and flesh right as I fired out a destructive lightning blast, deeply charring the front of his shell black as he simultaneously ripped my left arm off.

I let out a stifled cry of pain as my left arm fell off and hit the ground with a splat, along with my staff, right as his foot came shooting out and slammed onto the middle of my stomach.

I got sent hurtling back through the air at a breakneck speed, blood gushing out of my mouth as my stomach throbbed with excruciating waves of pain, my back slamming onto the barrier with a jarring impact.

The lightning wrapped around my body flickered as I struggled to maintain my concentration, before biting the inside of my cheek as I stood back up, my breathing hoarse and heavy, blood pouring out of the stump left around my left shoulder.

I...I’m at my limit.

My Mana is almost completely over, it’ll run out in a matter of seconds. I don’t even know how I’m still standing at all, several of my internal organs have been severely damaged, and I’ve got a number of broken bones too.

Lightning Boost, I could only push it upto a multiplier of five without putting my body at too much risk.

Even the fivefold boost steadily damages my organs, any higher and I’d end up killing myself in a matter of seconds.

But...I’m going to die now. There’s no avoiding it, it’s a miracle that I’m still alive at all. I’ll succumb and die soon.

So, if I...if I’m going down, I’ll...I’ll take him down with me...

"[Lightning Boost...]," I muttered, as the cornered of my vision began to darken.

Push it as far as you can, put everything you’ve got into this...your limits don’t matter anymore, blast right past them!

I’ll kill this Monster, even if it’s the last thing I ever do-...no, it will be the last thing I ever do. So, I’ll make sure it works, failure is not an option!

I’ll clear this floor, guys...and the rest, I’ll leave to you.

"Looks like you will die before much longer. I acknowledge the threat you pose...I shall simply keep my distance and wait for you to perish-...," Remarked Venom, as he began to warily step back.

"[...x100]!" I roared, focusing all my thoughts into the sole purpose of killing him...

Point-of-View: Kaivel Intrix

My eyes were forced shut as an immensely bright, blinding flash of lightning erupted, blanking the entire area in a deep electric glow. Sharp sparks and crackles rang out as I felt the electricity in the air, my hair standing up on end.

I strained to open my eyes, to see a figure seemingly made of pure lightning, puffs of smoke rising up all around the muddy toxic ground within the ring of pillars, with an Aura so immense that it spilled out of the pillars, reaching the rest of us.

And then, in a flash, the figure shot forward.

A deafening, bone-chilling crackle rang out, and in the blink of an eye, the electric figure was standing behind Venom, an immensely, deeply scorched trail in her wake.

The Monster stood still for a second, not moving a muscle...before his upper body suddenly crumbled to ash, only his lower half still intact, which fell over and hit the ground with a splat, smoke billowing out.

The blinding electric hue blanketing the area then began to steadily fade as the figure started to dim out, turning her head towards us as the glow around her flickered.

The figure gave us a slight nod, before fading away completely, disappearing without a trace...
