"<It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Miss. I am Ira, the Apostle of Wrath>," I introduced myself with a smile. ππΏπππ°π²ππ§π π§π²π₯.ππ¨π
"Cool, nice to meet you, Ira. Iβm Beatriz Oliviera, also known as the Musician. So, youβre Kaiβs newest summon, huh? Thatβs a seriously intense Aura youβve got there, looks like I can count on you to have my back without a concern," She responded with a grin, as she smacked my shoulder a couple of times.
She seems quite jovial and cheerful.
I had arrived in the location I was assigned to a few minutes ago, and I had just been taken to get introduced to the team I would be working with.
This woman appears to be quite powerful. And as for the rest of the team, some possess a moderately decent amount of power, while the rest are a bit weaker.
The humans of this world are my allies now, as we share a common enemy in the scourge of the Demon Lord and his forces. Therefore, I shall do everything I can to make sure that none of them die.
The Chief told me a bit about this woman, Beatriz Oliviera, before I set out. And during the short journey through the air, I watched the footage of her battles during the tournament that was held not long before the Chief was warped to my original world.
I must say, she possesses quite an interesting and fascinating form of Magic. She essentially uses music as a weapon. It reminds me of the abilities the bat Monsters possess, but the way she wields it is far more versatile.
On another note, the technology of this world is truly incredible. To travel across the world to another continent in a matter of minutes, without the use of Magic and across the sky, no less. I never imagined such a thing to even be possible.
"Before we head out, mind showing me a bit of what youβre capable of? Since Kai sent you, I have little doubt that youβve gotta be pretty strong. But that said, itβd definitely be helpful to see what youβve got before we enter the Dungeon," Remarked Beatriz, a look of curiosity on her face.
"<Yes, that is logical. Very well, then>," I nodded in response.

"Yeah, I donβt know, this seems like way overkill. Pretty sure you arenβt going to need anywhere near this much firepower. Seriously, youβve got more than enough on your own," Sighed Rex wistfully.
Iβd just met up with the rest of the party for the Calamity Level raid I was assigned to. Besides Cleo and I, Rex and Ciel were also a part of it, along with Brid, Iqra, Damien, and a Lightning Mage, Earth Mage and a Detector.
There was less than an hour left before the raid was set to commence, we were to head out to the Dungeon in about half on hour.
"Ohh, Iβm all for this. Calamity Level Dungeons have a lot more Monsters, which means more targets to blow up," Grinned Ciel excitedly.
"Yeah, sure, but just be careful not to blast any of us. Also, donβt be too reckless with your explosions, we donβt want the Dungeon collapsing in on us," I pointed out with a wry smile.
"Why does everyone always say that to me before every raid? I mean, thereβs never been a case of a Dungeon caving in like that," She frowned indignantly.
"That doesnβt mean itβs impossible, so donβt be the precedent for it," Responded Rex dryly.
"This is gonna be a blast, a Calamity Level Dungeon! What a great opportunity to test myself," Grinned Brid with a gleam in his eyes.
"Ah, yes, death flags. Is it a law of nature that at least one person must inevitably set one off?" Damien sighed dramatically.
"C-Come on, donβt say s-stuff like that," Frowned Iqra nervously.
"By the way, uh...can I ask about that girl? More like thereβs no way I can ignore her. I mean, her Aura looks even bigger than Kaiβs, which is insane," Remarked Ciel in bemusement as she glanced at Cleo, who shrunk back awkwardly.
"Wait, for real?" Blurted out Brid in surprise, a look of dismay appearing on Cleoβs face.
Yeah, I doubt this is how she wouldβve wanted people to find out.
"I-I, um...," She muttered, before trailing off and averting her gaze.
"Iβve kinda been wondering about her too...but since you guys werenβt saying anything, I figured Iβd just leave it alone," Added Rex with a shrug.
"Oh, crap, itβs looking like I probably shouldβve done that too, my bad," Grinned Ciel sheepishly.
"No, I probably shouldβve said something to you guys. I wonβt get into the specifics, but sheβs basically doing what Kai did before the HCC we participated in," I informed them.
"Yeah, I kinda figured. Well, guess weβll find out soon enough," Replied Ciel, as she stared at Cleo in fascination, who fidgeted uncomfortably.
"Alright, so...Rex and Brid, you guys will be up front with me. Ciel, Cleo and Iqra, the three of you will be in the mid-line, along with our Attack Mages. Which leaves you two at the back line," I remarked, as I glanced at Damien and the Detector.
"Um...c-canβt I be at the front line too, at least during the l-lower floors?" Requested Cleo timidly.
She really is extra awkward around people she doesnβt know, and it seems the bigger the crowd, the worse it gets for her. I kinda forget how introverted she is sometimes, since sheβs been pretty comfortable around Kai and I for a while now.
The two of us didnβt really experience her awkward phase ourselves, thanks to her initial panic over whether we would expose her true powers.
"Sorry, but no. Iβm not going to expose you to any more danger than necessary, considering that this is your first official raid and all. Weβve already gone over all of this, stick to the plan and donβt let your impulses get the better of you," I stated firmly.
"Yeah, o-okay..."
"It shouldnβt be too much longer now, so letβs get ready to head out. Letβs make sure we clear this Dungeon, and without losing anyone," I remarked, as I glanced around at the others...
