Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 754: Shen Jueyang’s Departure

The Moon Goddess didn’t know how that small group she had thrown out of the ruin had ended. It was something that she no longer cares about as she already guessed what their ending could be. She is currently casting her divine healing skills on Ru Yunlan which not only healed his fatigue but also the injuries in his soul and finally slowly opened his eyes.

Yue Xuexia said, "Awake? Xiao Lan, how are you feeling?"

It took a while for Ru Yunlan to recognize what he is. According to what he can remember, someone suddenly attacked him while he was meditating. To suddenly wake up surrounded by his family confused him for a moment.

Shen Jueyang was also used to her not giving him any kind of reaction. He didn’t blame her, nor forced her to accept him. Instead, he took his time this time. He had already researched that emotions can be sealed but not the heart itself. Maybe Yue Xuexia kept saying she didn’t have a heart because this is something she had given up. In reality, her heart is there but all other feelings of love except for family were sealed. Locked deep within her. Only when her feelings grew uncontrollable that maybe this seal would be broken by itself.

The Immortal Sun Emperor approached the Moon Goddess and gave her forehead a kiss. Before he disappeared, Shen Jueyang said to her,

"I will wait for you in the Immortal World, Xue’er."

Once the descent of the Immortal Sun Emperor had been cancelled the man who was standing in front of the Moon Goddess had disappeared in thin air. Despite the kiss on her forehead, her face remained emotionless but she once again felt her heart beating as if it was about to go out of control only for it to slow down. As if that erratic heartbeat from before never existed.

The Moon Goddess looked at the evening sky and murmured, "I will see you there soon."

The man who sat on the throne leaned his head on his fist with his eyes closed as if asleep. His long crimson hair cascades on his side with half of it pulled up with a crown. Wearing a black inner robe and crimson ancient clothing with a golden dragon pattern at the edge, he looks like an emperor overlooking the world.

His long eyelashes flutter as his eyes slowly open revealing the hidden ruby with shade of gold from within. As if his eyes had a living lave in it, it glows with hints of majesty and a dangerous feeling. This is the Immortal Sun Emperor’s real body and his soul returned after descending where his soul fragment is located.

"She looks better than before and much more powerful."

"Is it thanks to the legacies of the Primordial Gods of Shura and Deva?"

"She should be ascending soon. I should prepare some surprises for her."
