Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 749: Spitting Blood

Ru Yunlan who was caught off guard by an attack that was beyond his realm was badly injured. He had long fainted due to his injuries and his body was once again taken over by the death god. The middle aged man that suddenly attacked then felt a thick aura of death coming from the young man. The middle-aged attacker was stunned by these sudden changes on the young man and was stunned when he saw the black death scythe in his hand.

The demeanor around the young man had completely changed as well. From a person that looks naive and is full of opening from a person that is emitting a dangerous aura that makes even someone like him who is almost a godking feel the pressure of someone extremely powerful.

If not for the bleeding shoulder of the young man which was a fatal wound he left on him, he would have thought that this person was replaced by someone.

The middle aged man said, "Young man, I will not take your life. How about you give me what I want?"

When Ru Yunlan looked up and met the one speaking, the middle aged man flinched when he met the eyes of the young man that changed from slight crimson to something completely black. Pure black irises are something no human possesses at all. Meeting these eyes gave the middle aged man a feeling of fear he never felt before.

What this man didn’t know was that the one in Ru Yunlan before him was no longer a mortal but an enraged Primordial God who is on the verge of losing control.

The Death God took one single step and he suddenly disappeared in the line of sight of the middle aged man attacker in front of him. Before the cultivator in the air could react, the Death God appeared behind and kicked him from the air to the ground.

The middle aged man cultivator was stunned by the force used in that kick, something he can barely block and he directly fell on the ground. He thought that he would fall on the ground with a huge force and leave a crater. But nothing like that was left behind. Instead, he fell directly on the river. He felt his body sinking deeper regardless of his desire to swim back up.

The God of Death had thrown the person in the real river of death within his domain. This would allow the man to experience what the true fear towards death is. Unable to leave yet unable to die. Just simply sinking into unknown darkness lost forever in that unknown abyss.

The death scythe’s artifact spirit asked, {Master, why didn’t you just kill that rude human?! He had harmed the little master to such an extent. If not for the Moon Goddess’s avatar blocking most of that attack, he would have lost most of his limbs and would be barely alive.}

{I cannot kill him. That jade token that broke after the soul avatar of the Moon Goddess fades meant that it is indeed a soul fragment of the Goddess of the Moon was destroyed. A certain backlash would be felt by the original soul.} The Death God explained.

The Death Scythe wasn’t a fool and could understand what his master was talking about. This means that the original soul of that jade will be coming over. If they don’t have the culprit given to the Goddess of the Moon, they will not be able to explain the current state of his little master.

Yue Xuexia who was eating her meal with everyone suddenly coughed blood and her figure started to fade leaving everyone in the area speechless and shocked. This is the first time they had seen Yue Xuexia shed blood. Adding the fact that her figure is fading this means that something bad had happened.

"Something is not right!"

"Mistress?!" Xue Renxue called with urgency.

Yue Xuexia who casually wipes the blood, looks up and turns his killing intent on the four young cultivators within the group. She said,

"Capture these four. Something had happened to Xiao Lan."

With one way from the Moon Goddess, a few immortal ropes had flown from her hand and tied up Cui Xia, Qin Yao, Zou Yan and Meng Lili. Xue Renxue upon hearing this command didn’t hesitate to restrain the four guests with a cold face. The first three young cultivators were confused but the last one, Meng Lili, looked like she had seen a ghost. As if what she feared the most had finally happened.

The Moon Goddess before fading said, "My main body is coming over. Don’t let those four escape!"

Before the rest could understand the situation, the four guests they had welcomed with a friendly demeanor had seemed to have stabbed them on their backs making them all wear an ugly expression as they glared at them with eyes full of anger and hatred.

Outside the ruins, in some area within the ocean...

The Goddess of the Moon who was resting at her hammock with her eyes closed suddenly opened her eyes and abruptly stood up startling even the Immortal Sun God who was fanning her by her side. This abrupt movement caused some things on the table to fall when Yue Xuexia accidentally bumps on it.

The Immortal Sun Emperor, Shen Jueyang was confused at first but was stunned to see a trail of blood from the corner of Yue Xuexia’s lips.

Shen Jueyang lightly wipes the blood at the corner of her lips gently then asks, "Xue’er, your soul is a bit injured. What happened?"

"Someone destroyed one of my avatars. Something had happened to my godson, Yunlan. This can’t be done... I need to check what happened!" The Moon Goddess said.

With a wave of her hand the space around her was cut, revealing a new space completely different from the one they are currently in. Before she leave Yue Xuexia looked at the one corner of the sea and said,

"Lan Shen, you protect my brothers while I am away." The Moon Goddess said.

The voice of the God of Sea echoes from the ocean itself saying, {Leave them to me.}

Under the other cultivators’ eyes both the Moon Goddess and the Immortal Sun Emperor entered through the space crack and disappeared together with it. Such a huge crack appearing with just a single wave of the Moon Goddess’s hand already left them dumbfounded. They had seen that within that crack is a world completely different to where they are right now.

"Is that another world beyond that space crack?"

"Didn’t the Moon Goddess just casually make that crack? How come it was connected to another world so easily!!"

"Shut up! What do you know? That’s the Moon Goddess. A powerful empress! Anything is possible with her around!"

Even the Sea God stares from the direction where the Moon Goddess and the Sun God had disappeared into. He was watching everything that was happening around the seas which was his domain only to notice the sudden injury the Goddess of the Moon had suffered from.

"A slight injury on the soul. It is not serious yet she looks extremely angry. Just what kind of fool offended someone like the Goddess of the Moon," the God of the seas’s remnant soul mumbles. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Cui Xia, Meng Lili, Zou Yan and Qin Yao who are supposed to be enjoying their meals were not being treated as criminals and were locked in some kind of makeshift jail. However, the materials of his cage despite looking so crude and simple were never ordinary. It was made from a material that can restrain someone’s Qi, making them no different than mortals as long as they were locked inside. This is quite similar to the jails found in the pyramid before.

Even though they were confused why the kind goddess from before had now treated them as enemies after puking a bit of blood. They stayed quiet without any hints of struggles but quietly listened to the conversation of the others around them. They noticed that the young lady who introduced herself as Ru Lanyu and told them that she is Ru Yunlan’s mother now looked so devastated by the words of her best friend’s clone avatar before disappearing. They at least wanted to understand the huge difference in treatment now from before.
