With the Death God’s remnant soul leading towards the exit of the pyramid, as soon as they got to the surface, the death god no longer tied them and let them fall onto the desert. He didn’t care what happened to them after that. After all, he had already saved their lives which he never cared about. As soon as they landed on the desert, the death god had returned the body to Ru Yunlan and his current transformation had returned to how it used to be.

After bidding farewell with this team of four, Ru Yunlan heads to the south which the death god had pointed for him to go. Following after him, were the three death warriors who had become his subordinates after letting them regain their sentience. Cultivator Qin Yao asked, "Shijies, Shidi, do you believe him?"
